Bucharest International Technical Fair is an emblematic trade fair for Romexpo and an event of high importance for the Romanian national economy.
In 2014, the trade fair celebrates 40 editions. TIB was first organized in 1970 and starting with 1993 it has been internationally certified by the Global Association of the Exhibitions Industry – UFI, being included among the most important technical fairs at international level.

This event has registered a number of premieres both for Romania and Romexpo:
TIB was the first trade fair organized by Romexpo – in 1970;

2013 EDITION - FACTS AND FIGURES
The previous edition of TIB gathered over 233 exhibiting companies from 17 countries
on 9100 sqm exhibition area.
Participating countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, South Coreea, France, Germany,
Greece, Israel, Italy, Japan, UK, Netherlands, Poland, Slovakia, Turkey, Hungary,
Romania.
Group participations from France and Slovakia.
Within the 4 days of exhibition, TIB was visited by more than 10,000 professionals, to
whom the companies have presented the latest technologies and machines.
TIB 2013 took place in the same period with ExpoEnergiE – International trade fair for
renewable energy, conventional energy, equipment and technologies for the oil and
natural gas industry.

SIDE EVENTS
During the 4 days of the trade fair, besides viewing the exhibited products and
equipment, the visitors could attend the conferences, debates and workshops organized
by Romexpo and its partners.
The main attractions at the previous edition of TIB were represented by the industrial
design area and also by the areas of robotics and industrial machines, where the visitors
could watch the manufacture process of various tools and equipment.
