20. THE BALLOON’S PUZZLE
• Each group takes a balloon.
• Burst the balloon.
• You can find some papers (6 or 7) with different parts of
sentences.
• Order the sentences.
• Write the sentences on the board.
• If your sentences are right, and your group is the first; you will

22. Jim won a weekend for two in Paris. His girlfriend and he went to the airport in a
big limousine. They travelled first class and they had champagne on the plane.
They stayed in an expensive hotel. The weather was quite hot all weekend.
The food and wine were really good. On Saturday morning they went up the Eiffel
Tower but the queues were too long. They had coffee by the river. In the
afternoon they went to the Louvre Museum. The museum was quite crowded
but they thought it was really interesting. On Sunday Jim asked Naomi to marry
him – and she said yes! It was a wonderful weekend.
Sandra won a weekend for two in New Zealand. She was happy because she loves
New Zealand. She went with her boyfriend. The hotel was empty because it was a
cheap and ugly place. The restaurant was very dirty and the rooms
were too small. On Saturday the weather was really bad.
