26. 1. SKILL MO, SAGOT KO
- The school has come up with a program
that helps ALS learners passed their
assessment for NC1 (National Certificate
1) and NC2 (National Certificate 2).
- ALS-PNHS looked for volunteers who are
willing to sponsor the assessment fee for
NC1 and NC2 of our ALS learners.
27. 2. PROJECT REAL (Reinforcing and
Empowering Action for Learner’s Skill
Development)
- We make sure that our ALS learners are able
to learn a skill essential for their future so
major subject teachers such as the Automotive
and Home Economics’ teachers find time to
help them master a skill such as baking cakes
and pastries, housekeeping, mixing cocktail
drinks, table skirting etc.
28. 3. PROJECT JDVP – ALS –PNHS is
planning the inclusion of ALS learners
in the JDV program. This is a
program where learners are taught
skills or undergo skills training
without paying but with the use of a
voucher issued by the government.
29. 1. Penablanca National High School has
allocated an amount for the provision of
school supplies to ALS learners. They
were provided with notebooks, ballpens,
bond papers, colored papers, pad papers
and clearbooks.
2. Due to scarcity of teachers, ALS learners
are scheduled to report bi-weekly to their
classes and do performance tasks and
activities to prepare them obtain a
national certificate from TESDA.
30. 1. ALS learners are asked to pick up their
weekly modules in school and submit
them on their next reporting date.
2. For those ALS learners who are unable to
report to school, their modules are
delivered by other ALS implementers.
ALS implementers are former teachers of
ALS learners when they were in lower
years. This is performed due to lack of
teachers in PNHS-SHS. So we resorted
to get the assistance of our co-ALS
implementers.
31. Don’t wait for an
opportunity.
Create it.
