• The client is a global food retailer headquartered in
the Netherlands with operations across mainly US
and EU.
• The client wants to renew the existing
authentication framework to improve the user
experience and lower help desk costs by minimizing
password resets.

• The global nature and very high volume of users
makes the roll out challenging.
• First implementation was put on hold due to lack
of suitable laptops.
• Using MFA client on non corporate device is
blocked by US unions.
• Ensure that you have a significant batch of new laptop with the right hardware support (cameras and
fingerprint readers).
• Work opco by opco and create good examples.
• Strong communication around enrollment is key for a good user experience.
• If the users are not supplied with company smart phones deploying the Microsoft MFA client may not be
viable due to legal reasons.
