3. ACTIVATE YOUR NET ID
• Your NetID is your Texas A&M username. You will use it
every time you log in to University resources.
• To activate your NetID, you will need to:
• Log in https://services.tamu.edu/netid-activate/
• Use your Universal Identification Number (UIN) and
birth date.
• Enter your PIN, if one was provided to you.
• Choose a NetID.
• Select a password.
4. HOWDY PORTAL
• Howdy is the web portal at Texas A&M University that helps
students, applicants, faculty, and staff more easily connect to their
university records and resources.

• Log in with your NET ID
• Select the Faculty/Teaching tab
• Syllabus Access
• Download Class Roster
• Course Email
5. ECAMPUS (BLACKBOARD)
• Sign into eCampus (Blackboard) http://ecampus.tamu.edu/

• Access

• Available grades between A+ (4.01) and F (0.00)
• Pass/Fail (P/F)

• Minimum GPA for good standing is 2.33 (C+)
8. EXAM POLICIES
• Exams must be anonymous
• Grades or exams cannot be discussed with
students until grades are posted
• Associate Dean for Academic Affairs handles
rescheduling of exams
• Assistant Dean for Student Affairs handles disability
accommodations
