My Own Creative Process And Transformative Experiences...
This paper intends to describe the application of my own creative process and transformative
experiences during the stages of work from creation to completion of an original body of sculptural
artwork. Secondarily, providing analysis and interpretation of the relationship to the theories of
creativity that have been studied throughout this course. I will be using the concept of self–
awareness found in Maslow's hierarchy of needs (Runco, 2014) and the concept of self–observation
as a form of measurement and as the primary research method. The result of this concentration aims
to demonstrate the generation and connection of new knowledge that deepened my understanding of
creativity in the context of the person, process, place, and product.
There are many definitions, from many people of what creativity is and what it is not. It only seems
logical to start with my own definition for a sequential frame of reference. I believe that creativity is
having vision and exercising cognitive processes that when combined with personality traits,
influential experiences, environments, and learned skillsets generate original ideas by an individual.
That is a synthesis of three of the five creativity research paradigms: person, process, and place,
summarized in Creativity: Theories and Themes: Research, Development, and Practice. (Runco
et.al, 2014) This is my vision. Before starting this course, I had been thinking about the possibility
of creating sculptures that intertwine art with

Da Jiang Innovations Science And Technology Co Essay
Da–Jiang Innovations Science and Technology Co., Ltd. DJI Drones have always been accessible to
the military, but in recent years they have become more accessible to the public. Before there was a
giant manufacture of them, hobbyists made them for their entertainment. Enter Frank Wang, now
CEO of DJI, he was a college student with a passion of making these drones. It started as a hobby
for him only to turn into a business, he started making them for the film industry as they needed
drones to fly the cameras to get aerial footage. Fast forward 10 years and his company owns eighty
percent of the drone market. Although they maybe dominating in their field, the company still has
many issues that need to be fixed including, waste areas and supply chain constraints. To expand on
their problems, we must first know what is their primary product and who is their target. DJI is
known for making consumer drones, not just regular hover aircrafts but aircrafts with the ability to
capture 4k video and pictures. Their Phantom series drove 1billion in sales for the 2015 year, they
are currently in the fourth iteration of the product (Phantom 4). On September 27th, 2016 DJI
announced their newest drone, The Mavic Pro, the best compact drone in the market. This drone
incorporates the same features as the Phantom 4, while being able to fold its wings in. This is what
caused the biggest areas of waste in the company. 7– Waste Areas The Seven areas of waste consist

Ms. Conlon Applies The Nursing Process System Or Processes...
Ms. Conlon applies the nursing process to systems or processes at the unit/team/work group level to
improve care. Deirdre has been the primary nurse for 6 hemodialysis patients. She has involved
patients and families in monthly interdisciplinary meetings to promote self–efficacy and quality of
life. With the help of the interdisciplinary team Deirdre has worked collaboratively to address and
reinforce nutritional needs, social/family issues, barriers to care, and safety concerns. All of her
primary care patients have maintained a goal of 100% for dialysis adequacy (benchmark is 85%)
and a vascular access rate of 100% and dictated by KDOQI standards.
Deirdre noted a downward trend of a veteran pts access. With quick intervention the access resulted
in a patent access with better clearances for this patient, and the preservation of the dialysis access.
During the transitioning process to the new hemodialysis unit, Ms. Conlon anticipated the
challenges acquired by learning to set up and use new water equipment in an acute situation. In
response to this, Ms. Conlon created and implemented a reverse osmosis flow sheet to assist her
colleagues with the quick set–up of the portable RO in the ICU care setting. This tool resulted in a
smoother transition for her colleagues, improvement in the delivery of care to the acute dialysis
patient, and a decrease in the possibility of staffing overtime.
She created a flow sheet used by the nurses to import data useful for review at

My Writing Process Works For Me
The first semester of W131 has given me the chance to become more familiar with my strengths and
weaknesses in my writing process. One of the main things I contribute to my progression in writing
is practice and revision. W131 has given me the resources I need to become an effective writer by
pushing me to think deeper about what writing process works best for me. To find what writing
process works for me, I have experimented with different writing techniques along with alternative
reading techniques to allow me to retain more detail. Although I improved some skills during the
first half of W131, I still have many skills that could be critiqued to enhance my writing process and
essays. At the start of the semester, I had trouble with providing sufficient support to back up my
topic sentences. Even though I make strong theses, they begin to lose their meaning as I progress
through my essays due to lack of support. For example, in my original Response Essay, The Stress
of Today's Generation, I allude to but never support the fact that crammed schedules have led to an
increase in stress on today's students. After reevaluating my essay, I provided sufficient support to
how a crammed schedule leads to an increase in stress. Some facts I used to support my claim
included time management issues, being required to work a job, participating in extracurricular
activities, and stiffer competition in today's society for a top notch job. This revision to my essay
allowed me to feel that

Process Summary: How Does Online Soccer Betting Work?
How does online soccer betting work
Soccer betting is a multimillion dollar a year industry that draws participants from all corners of the
world. Betting on the outcome of soccer continue to gain popularity because its adds an element of
excitement to the whole idea of watching soccer. For gamblers who know how to pick the odds,
winners and using bonuses, the whole idea can prove highly lucrative. Soccer bets are based on
regular time or 90 minutes of play along with stoppages and additional time added by the referee.
Items outside the regular play time such as penalty shootout, overtime and golden goals are
normally not counted.

Betting the 3–way moneyline
Under this method of betting there are three possible outcomes:
Team A Win
Team B Win
Team A and B draw
An example of a three way moneyline bet might look like this
Spain –129
Holland +345
Draw +250
3. Betting on the goal lines
You can also bet on the goal lines. Under this method, bettors can choose several outcomes. For
example a World Cup goal line bet between Paraguay and Iran might look like this
Paraguay –2.5 goals (+110); to win this bet, Paraguay need to score 3 or more goals.
Iran +2.5 goals (–120); to win this bet Iran need to win, draw or lose by I or 2 goals.
Betting Tips
Once you are well versed with the intricacies of betting, you need to check the odds regularly. This
is important because making an assumption that a team will always do well could be a misnomer.
You also need to check your betting success or failure over time to get an accurate picture of the
direction you are moving. Since soccer can be unpredictable sometimes, it is important to be patient
and bet beginning from a low standpoint and move up as your confidence levels rise. Remember
betting big can win he sometimes of money and also cost huge colossal amount if you lose the

Does Our Modern Prison System Work?
Rape, murder, kidnapping, these are just a few of the crimes that will land you into one of the
prisons across the country. A few hundred years ago prison systems began across the world forcing
criminals to pay time for what they had done. In todays world most of us know of someone who has
been or is currently imprisoned. The question has to be asked, if our prison system is effective why
do we hear about more people being arrested during these times more than ever before?
There are nearly two million Americans imprisoned in our country today. The California Prison
Focus notes the fact that there hasn't been another society in our humanity that has imprisoned so
many of its own citizens. This staggering number shows that we have more of our own citizens
imprisoned than any other country. In 1972 there wasn't even 300,000 citizens imprisoned by 1990
this number grew to one million, and since 2000 that number has doubled to two million. (Pelaez
para. 2) (Pelaez para. 3)

have been investing into our prison system ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
There was a report done by HM Inspectorate for Prisons that recorded the amount of self–harm
going on in prisons has gone from 274 to 316 prisoners a year. With 660 prisoners between the ages
of 18–21 being released its hard to imagine those people going back out into the world and being
expected to not have any problems blending in with everyone else. (Jones para. 2) Even more
studies done in prisons have shown that suicides in prison have gone up by 69% in just one year.
Prisons are also being overcrowded, for instance Nottingham Prison is only supposed to hold 700
prisoners but they're holding 1,000 prisoners. This causes the percent of assaults happening in
prisons to skyrocket. (Jones para.

Team Charter: Process Improvement Work
Too often teams spend a considerable amount of their valuable resources trying to figure out what it
is they are supposed to do, writes contributors John Moran, Grace Duffy and Michael Rudis. Before
starting any type of a process improvement work, it is important to know where you're headed.
Here's how a Team Charter can help.
A Team Charter is the official document from the team sponsor that empowers the team to act. It is a
written document describing the mission of the team and how this mission is to be accomplished.
The Team Charter is one of the most under–used and under–valued tools available to sponsors, team
leaders, and facilitators for helping a team succeed.
But it is often overlooked because it is time consuming to develop.

Data warehouse is aggregation of subject–oriented, integrated databases, which is designed to

Try to make it better, integrated, more accurate and can be accessed from a source of one single

that business supports the needs of business compare to one that does not support it properly. So to
make a business successful there is a need of alignment of company goals with warehouse,
maintaining of this alignment is an ongoing process. It is very usual that goals for warehouse
become more strategic as time passes, because management understood the importance of
warehouse for supporting business goals. Deciding Information requirement: What information

organisation details there is need to be identified and agreed on it. We have to select the best source
system that will full fill these needs. Setting Priorities: Development of data warehouse should be an
evolution. First version of data warehouse should contain the data for few of the areas, and it should

How Does Security Work Within An Organization's Budgeting...
How does security work within an organization 's budgeting process? Include at least two common
metrics associated with security and an organization 's budget. Security departments and employees
commonly have to work with the organizations budgeting process to be able to plan for the
replacement, maintenance, or installation of new security controls and systems. Often a security
manager must create an outline or summary of the benefits, total system life costs, and the need for
the system to justify the expenditures. They should also create a budget that allows the budgeting
team to assess the proposal and compare it to other departments that are trying to allocate capital for
their department's use. This in turn requires the use of several different metrics to identify the best
allocation of capital. (McCrie, 2007; Fitzgerals, 2008) One such metric used by security departments
and many organizations to ensure capitol is allocated in the areas it will do the most good is known
as return on investment (ROI). ROI looks at the total amount of capital expenditures for the
budgeted item or project. Management can then assess whether the total cost of the system provides
the necessary return on investment to justify the expenditure. For example, if a security department
was installing a new employee badging system, management would look at the capital cost of the
system to assess if it provides the necessary return on investment by preventing unauthorized access

The Main Theories of How the Process of Aging Works Essay
The Main Theories of How the Process of Aging Works
This report outlines the main theories of how the process of aging works. Since researchers have not
discovered a universally–accepted theory of aging, the theories discussed are potential explanations
of how we age. The likelihood of each hypothesis is considered roughly equal. The different theories
discussed focus on the workings of different parts of the body, from the molecular level of DNA
mutations and replication, to the organism level of becoming "worn out." Aging is a very complex
and gradual process, and its ongoing operation is present to some degree in all individuals. It is a
journey to the maturity, as well as to the degeneration of the body. Because ... Show more content on

Since genes on DNA code for specific proteins, mutated genes may produce defective proteins,
which do not work properly. Many proteins can be affected, such as enzymes, proteins comprising
muscle tissue, and a recently discovered type of protein called transcription factors, which bind to
DNA and regulate the individual activities of genes themselves. Physical mutagens are substances
that increase the chance of mutation and include such physical phenomena as x–rays and
radioactivity from radium. The atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan are
examples of physical mutagens that caused an increase in the number of cases of leukemia. Certain
chemicals and radiation cause mutations to occur in DNA by giving off high energy particles. These
particles collide with the DNA and knock off atoms of the DNA randomly, damaging it. DNA
consists of sequences of four possible nitrogenous bases: adenine, guanine, cytosine, and thymine,
paired so that adenine always pairs with thymine, and guanine always pairs with cytosine. As cells
repair the damaged DNA, a different DNA base is often substituted. This base–substitution is known
as a point mutation and can cause the production of a defective or damaged protein. Apart from
being caused by radiation or chemicals, mutations also occur spontaneously but at lower rates.
Physicist Leo Szilard and biochemist Denham Harmon proposed that because most

responsibility, and like to work. – Motivation is maximized by participative decision making,

Planning And Implementation Of The Work Process
Planning and improvement in the Work Process: Planning is high essential in every organization and
execution of proper planning plays a major role and thus we can achieve effective output.
Improvement in the work process means that implementing necessary change in the manufacturing
process so that quality output is obtained. Say for example, if we could introduce the quality
detector or quality check at the initial stage of paper cutting which can improve the work process.
Thus we can reduce the number of defective products which in turn reduces the raw materials
(paper).

My personal, experience is when I had worked as a Mechanical Engineer for Precession tools
manufacturing company; we used to have a division of work between the departments such as raw
materials department, warehousing department, Technical support team, marketing department etc.,
In a situation where we have faced high demand for our products, so in order to meet that demand
we need to implement a change in our production process. The required demand is achieved by
changing the work process, updating the technology and machinery. Thus we can achieve efficient
quality output by meeting the customer demands and expectations.

Wage Garnishment Process Work
Are your wages being garnished? Are you wondering what it takes to get your ex's wages garnished
for unpaid child support? Too often, child support payments must be facilitated by the courts and
governmental agencies through the use of wage garnishments. Wage garnishment is usually a last
resort. When a parent's wages are garnished, they are usually severely in arrears on their child
support payments. The amount of garnished wages varies depending upon whether or not the parent
is supporting another spouse/child, but the law allows employers to garnish up to 50–65% of an
employee's disposable income for child support payments. But how does the process work? How

What Way Should People Interpret How The Process Of...
In what way should people interpret how the process of genocide works when coming across a
statement from Adolf Hitler (1939) saying, "My pact with the Poles was merely conceived of as a
gaining of time. As for the rest gentleman, the fate of Russia will be exactly the same as I am now
going through with the case of Poland. After Stalin's death...we will break the Soviet Union. Then
there will begin the dawn of the German rule of the earth" ("Poland Will Be Depopulated and
Settled with Germans" document). Judging by the content of that statement, one may interpret that
genocide works as a process to break down another country. To some extent, that is correct but one
must learn that this process encompasses strategies in order to achieve the downfall of a country. For
one thing, to understand how genocide works, one needs to know what that term means. Genocide is
an intentional physical or cultural act of eliminating the population of a specific national, ethnical,
racial or religious group (Kiernan). Moving forward, the process of genocide works as a cycle of
manipulation and elimination to intentionally remove a certain group of people. This cycle of
manipulation was applied towards targeted groups and those who enforced the platform of genocide.
Influence was a force intended to manipulate how people think, as well as obedience. Targeted
groups were influenced to believe their harsh conditions would eventually come to an end by
obeying any given instruction. Also, those who

How Does Memory Process Work?
The human body is a complex machine with many different ways of keeping us alive, as well as
allowing us to function properly. From the heart knowing when and how many times to beat, the
lungs providing us with oxygen to breathe and even our glands knowing when to provide us with
sweat to keep the body from overheating. The brain or the control center, is responsible for many
actions throughout the body, one being memory. Memory can be defined as the brain or mind
storing and later recollecting information (Merriam–Webster, 2016). So how exactly does the
memory process work? There are three stages in the memory process; encoding, storage and
retrieval.
Encoding is the first step in creating a memory. It begins with perception that sends

Oral, the advantages and disadvantages.
An example of a verbal communication within the work place would one to one supervisions held
between myself and my manager. Primarily, this verbal communication is to produce an effective
work plan whilst enabling feedback from both parties to be heard.
The communication process would typically begins with my manager (source) and is where the
context of the meeting is set and where encoding begins. It is important that the source uses
appropriate language during encoding and assumptions are not made about the receiver. Also
important is that messages are clear and concise so that the receiver can decode in a manner
acceptable to them. As this is a two way process it is necessary that the source displays openness
with non language to ensure effective feedback from the receiver.
An advantage of supervisions being held in this format rather that choosing written is that the both
sender and receiver are able to pick up on non language cues such as body and facial language both
which can encourage openness if used in the correct manner.
Yet disadvantages become apparent when reflecting on past supervisions, as these have historically
contained an element of emotion which can hinder the communication process.

CHAPTER

Process Costing
Overview
This chapter explains how process–costing systems determine the cost of products or services. In the
simplest case, a process has no beginning or ending work–in–process inventory. Considerable
complexity is added when a process has both beginning and ending work–in–process inventory; this
case necessitates selecting an inventory costflow method. The chapter illustrates two of these
methods: the weighted–average method and the first–in, first–out (FIFO) method. Many detailed
exhibits are included in the chapter because process costing is highly procedural. The chapter also
explains how operation–costing systems determine the cost of products. The Appendix to the
chapter describes the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Because of the difficulties in estimating completion percentages for conversion costs, department
supervisors and line managers– individuals most familiar with the process–often make these
estimates.
6. Steps 3, 4, and 5 together are called the production cost worksheet. In Step 3, total costs to
account for are equal to the sum of the amounts debited to the department's Work in Process
account. When there is no beginning inventory, the
Assembly Department's debits are for direct materials used and conversion costs incurred during the
period. Step 4 computes cost per equivalent unit by dividing the costs in each input cost category by
the respective quantity of equivalent units. Step
5 assigns total costs to account for from Step 3 (a) to units completed and transferred out of the
process and (b) to units remaining in process at the end of the period. EXHIBIT 17–2, text p.634,

How The Process Of Human Digestion Works
How the process of human digestion works is it starts with your mouth, the digestion starts as soon
you take your first bite of your meal. When you chew it helps the process by making it easier for the
food to digest. Also the saliva mixes with the food so that it can form it into something that the body
can absorb and use. The next place the food goes is the pharynx (throat), then the esophagus or
swallowing tube. The esophagus gets the food from the throat to the stomach. After the stomach is
the small intestine it continues the breaking down process of the food by using enzymes released by
the pancreas and bile from the liver. There are 3 other organs that help the small intestine break
down the food we eat. They are pancreas, liver, and

The various reasons which motivated Dore – Dore to convert to cells are as follows:
* Improved quality of the products due to reduced defects * Designs can be easily adapted to market
trends due to decrease throughput time.
Example: The average sewing throughput time of a garment dropped from 15 working days to 1
working day by converting sewing department setup from traditional to cellular. * Results in low
inventory and in turn low cost of inventory management freeing idle capital. * Workers in cellular
operations are more flexible due to cross training. * Wait time between each operation is reduced. *
Can plan for more than two annual collections * Stocks can be supplied to wholesalers on a daily
basis to reduce burden * Reduction in WIP by converting to

Process Essay: How Do Submarines Work?
The way a submarine works is by surfacing, submerging, and using navigation, with all these things
in place, the submarine would be an amazing adventure underwater! Being able to go underwater
and understand the life deep beneath the ground is quite an extravaganza, but you can't simply just
dive in the water and begin your adventure, you need a submarine that guides you, it's like a car but
the difference is just underwater, with a handy submarine in place, you can go to any destination
underwater until you fulfill to your heart's content.
First thing you want to be able to do when you go underwater is being able to submerge, in other
words, dive into the water. Being able to submerge requires three elements, air, density, and ballast
tanks. According to the article How submarines work, it states "There is a supply of compressed air

The three elements it takes to surface are floating, buoyancy, and weight. First thing you need to do
to surface is to float. According to the article How do submarines work, it states "A submarine can
float on water because the weight of the water displaced is equal to the weight of the craft." What
this is saying is that without out a balanced weight, the submarine won't be able to float which leads
to the reason why it's important to surfacing. Weight also plays a role in surfacing because if the
weight of the water is heavier than the craft, it may sink the submarine deep below the surface of the
ocean and may be harder to surface at the top. And lastly is the buoyancy. According to the article
How submarines work, it states "The upward force that the water has on the vessel is known as the
buoyant force. The key to controlling a submarines diving and resurfacing, is to control the
buoyancy." If the force that the water has on the vessel that goes in an upward motion, it will control
both the diving and surfacing of the

Process and Content Theory of Motivation and How They...
The term motivation can be described in many different formats and views, but according to Dr
Stephen P. Robbins, this is the process that account for an individuals intensity, direction and
persistence of effort toward attaining a goal (S. P. Robbins, Organizational Behaviour 9ed, p.155).
However, I will describe motivation as any factor which will cause an increase in my normal input
into doing something, and with the knowledge and hope that a reward will be gained afterwards.
Below are a description of what a process and a content theory of motivation are, their features and
how each applies to the workplace. A process theory define motivation as a rational cognitive
process occurring within the individual e.g. Adams' Equity ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

An example is that an employee with large income is less likely to be motivated by money, and will
be highly motivated by career development and social needs. Lastly, Valence is the strength of an
individual's preference for a particular outcome (Armstrong, & Dawson, p97 & 98).
The importances of these features are essential to work place motivation, because firms rely on a
motivated workforce to sustain the business position, to survive or reach the business objective(s).
Adding to the above, a study by Stolovitch, found that tangible incentives i.e. perks greatly increases
employees performance, and workers are likely to be motivated by this.
He also stated that incentives destroy personal, intrinsic interest in work and long term incentives
programs have a stronger impact than short–term ones. (Anonymous, Sept 2004, Pg.1–4)
Further to this, if an employee does not value the reward for a certain performance highly enough, it
is likely that he or she is unlikely to will not increase their performance level.
In terms of looking at Dr Vroom's expectancy theory, the main critic is that his model only indicates
the conceptual determinants of motivation.
His work does not provide an actual answer to how workers are motivated, but gives a set of
guideline for managers to follow in a way that by knowing that each individual within an
organisation is unique, different solutions could be implemented by managers to deal with each

Reflective Essay On The Written Work Process
In spite of the fact that writing in school is intense at a first begin, Arrangement is the most
troublesome piece of the written work process on the grounds that numerous understudies have the
issue of coming up short on thoughts and they don't know where to put their writing in their paper
all together for their article to be perused easily. I need to educate you concerning how I used to
mastermind my papers amid the composition procedure. In secondary school, I generally had
coordinated works, so I needed to consider thoughts quick. That is the reason I utilized foundation
learning from data that I officially learned. In any case, it was hard for me to consider new plans to
add to my paper because of the way that the greater part of my written work prompts were
coordinated and nobody was permitted to utilize open book to look into any new data, which is the
reason numerous understudies battled amid the composition procedure and quickly came up short on
thoughts. Presently since I'm in school and my composition isn't planned, I intend to add more plans
to my paper through research, for example, the Internet, magazines, podcasts, books, and so forth
for any theme. Truth be told, in the event that I have a written work task that contains two prompts
and I have the alternative to switch themes, I may do that too in light of the fact that numerous
understudies may change starting with one point then onto the next on the grounds that they either
feel more great with the subject and they can think of a bigger number of thoughts for their paper
than the theme that they were at that point stayed with. My teachers once disclosed to me that it is
smarter to have a greater number of thoughts than to simply stick to just a single subject since one
point won't not work and you may not think of a lot of thoughts. Before concocting any thoughts for
my paper, the best technique for me to organize my thoughts was on a web graph on a different
sheet of paper. This strategy is superior to anything beginning to freewrite immediately on a bit of
paper since when you initially compose, you're composing won't not bode well and after that there's
the complexities of modification. Additionally, it is valuable to make a web chart

The Process Of Helping A Work Group
Chapter one
Introduction
Team Building is the process of helping a work group become more effective in accomplishing the
task and in satisfying the needs of the group member.
Team building as it implies, is the process by which differences in organization are ironed out
through sectional solutions of misunderstanding within vertical groups and horizontal groups and
intra–vertical and horizontal groups of such organizations.
The analogue of a football team, hockey team and other teams could be used. A team is a group of
players working together to win matches. This end in view is possible if they will work with the
"team spirit", good feeling of those members working together, as a team.
It is also a group of activities designed to enhance the effective operation of system teams. It may
relate to task issues, such as the way things are done, the needed skills to accomplish task, the
resources allocations necessary for task accomplishment or it may relate to the nature and quality of
the relationship between the team members or between members and the leaders
It's always a good idea for the group to get to know each other before you begin, especially when
they will soon begin doing collaborative efforts through team building and the other modules of this
program. Some might assume that since the students are all in the same class at the same school that
they will already know one another and that perhaps the introduction activities can be skipped.
However, we can't assume

Effective Knowledge Sharing Process And Procedure For...
Introduction
The purpose is to identify the enablers of the effective knowledge sharing with constraints of
different work shifts. In the organization, face to face interaction was difficult to share the tacit
knowledge with people working in 2 different shifts (11:30 AM to 8:00 & 10:30 PM to 6:00 AM).
This case study is focused on knowledge sharing process and procedure to train and prepare the new
work force to work individually.
Hays Business Solutions is the subsidiary of the Hays Inc which primarily deals with the
recruitment. Hays Inc is operational in 33 countries. HBS was formed to provide the IT technical
solutions and support to the recruitment process. In November 2015, HBS commenced the US shift
to provide the online support services to the customers in US. As part of the strategic plan, 11 new
members were hired to specifically work for the night shift. These peoples were provided the
training sessions to fit in their respective roles.
Objective
The Objective of this case study is to identify and understand the enabler for the organization's
performance, and to develop the integrated Model to represent the scenario for the firm. This case
study also aims to help identify the misconduct and the inappropriate practices and to suggest the
solution for the knowledge creation and analysis of the counter measures taken by the firm after
facing this problem.

The Process Of Completing Expense Reports And Travel...
The process of completing expense reports and travel arrangements at work consume a lot of time.
The current process costs the company a lot of money. Pertinent information is not provided
immediately causes a waste of time. The pertinent information includes: cost codes, project codes.
Another issue is two to three weeks advance notice of travel and travel preferences is not provided.
Flight selections cannot be saved while traveler decides on a flight schedule. Being able to save
from 48 to 72 hours would provide ample decision time. Therefore, once the traveler reviews and
selects flights, the prices increase and/or the flight(s) are not available. This situation creates a need
to find different flights again and again. Completed arrangement changes cause more flight fees.
Changes are adding or removing a rental car, switching hotels and so on.
When correct cost codes or other information is missing and incorrect; the expense report is not
approved. Further review and changes waste time. If the expense reports are not completed timely, it
creates a compliance issue. The traveler risk a late charge and this will affect the traveler's credit
report in a negative way. At this time, the way the expense and travel system works; the two week
deadline is not being met. There are always substantial last minute changes.

My Own Creative Process And Transformative Experiences...

  • 1. My Own Creative Process And Transformative Experiences... This paper intends to describe the application of my own creative process and transformative experiences during the stages of work from creation to completion of an original body of sculptural artwork. Secondarily, providing analysis and interpretation of the relationship to the theories of creativity that have been studied throughout this course. I will be using the concept of self– awareness found in Maslow's hierarchy of needs (Runco, 2014) and the concept of self–observation as a form of measurement and as the primary research method. The result of this concentration aims to demonstrate the generation and connection of new knowledge that deepened my understanding of creativity in the context of the person, process, place, and product. There are many definitions, from many people of what creativity is and what it is not. It only seems logical to start with my own definition for a sequential frame of reference. I believe that creativity is having vision and exercising cognitive processes that when combined with personality traits, influential experiences, environments, and learned skillsets generate original ideas by an individual. That is a synthesis of three of the five creativity research paradigms: person, process, and place, summarized in Creativity: Theories and Themes: Research, Development, and Practice. (Runco et.al, 2014) This is my vision. Before starting this course, I had been thinking about the possibility of creating sculptures that intertwine art with ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 3. Da Jiang Innovations Science And Technology Co Essay Da–Jiang Innovations Science and Technology Co., Ltd. DJI Drones have always been accessible to the military, but in recent years they have become more accessible to the public. Before there was a giant manufacture of them, hobbyists made them for their entertainment. Enter Frank Wang, now CEO of DJI, he was a college student with a passion of making these drones. It started as a hobby for him only to turn into a business, he started making them for the film industry as they needed drones to fly the cameras to get aerial footage. Fast forward 10 years and his company owns eighty percent of the drone market. Although they maybe dominating in their field, the company still has many issues that need to be fixed including, waste areas and supply chain constraints. To expand on their problems, we must first know what is their primary product and who is their target. DJI is known for making consumer drones, not just regular hover aircrafts but aircrafts with the ability to capture 4k video and pictures. Their Phantom series drove 1billion in sales for the 2015 year, they are currently in the fourth iteration of the product (Phantom 4). On September 27th, 2016 DJI announced their newest drone, The Mavic Pro, the best compact drone in the market. This drone incorporates the same features as the Phantom 4, while being able to fold its wings in. This is what caused the biggest areas of waste in the company. 7– Waste Areas The Seven areas of waste consist of: overproduction, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 5. Ms. Conlon Applies The Nursing Process System Or Processes... Ms. Conlon applies the nursing process to systems or processes at the unit/team/work group level to improve care. Deirdre has been the primary nurse for 6 hemodialysis patients. She has involved patients and families in monthly interdisciplinary meetings to promote self–efficacy and quality of life. With the help of the interdisciplinary team Deirdre has worked collaboratively to address and reinforce nutritional needs, social/family issues, barriers to care, and safety concerns. All of her primary care patients have maintained a goal of 100% for dialysis adequacy (benchmark is 85%) and a vascular access rate of 100% and dictated by KDOQI standards. Deirdre noted a downward trend of a veteran pts access. With quick intervention the access resulted in a patent access with better clearances for this patient, and the preservation of the dialysis access. During the transitioning process to the new hemodialysis unit, Ms. Conlon anticipated the challenges acquired by learning to set up and use new water equipment in an acute situation. In response to this, Ms. Conlon created and implemented a reverse osmosis flow sheet to assist her colleagues with the quick set–up of the portable RO in the ICU care setting. This tool resulted in a smoother transition for her colleagues, improvement in the delivery of care to the acute dialysis patient, and a decrease in the possibility of staffing overtime. She created a flow sheet used by the nurses to import data useful for review at ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 7. My Writing Process Works For Me The first semester of W131 has given me the chance to become more familiar with my strengths and weaknesses in my writing process. One of the main things I contribute to my progression in writing is practice and revision. W131 has given me the resources I need to become an effective writer by pushing me to think deeper about what writing process works best for me. To find what writing process works for me, I have experimented with different writing techniques along with alternative reading techniques to allow me to retain more detail. Although I improved some skills during the first half of W131, I still have many skills that could be critiqued to enhance my writing process and essays. At the start of the semester, I had trouble with providing sufficient support to back up my topic sentences. Even though I make strong theses, they begin to lose their meaning as I progress through my essays due to lack of support. For example, in my original Response Essay, The Stress of Today's Generation, I allude to but never support the fact that crammed schedules have led to an increase in stress on today's students. After reevaluating my essay, I provided sufficient support to how a crammed schedule leads to an increase in stress. Some facts I used to support my claim included time management issues, being required to work a job, participating in extracurricular activities, and stiffer competition in today's society for a top notch job. This revision to my essay allowed me to feel that ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Rape, murder, kidnapping, these are just a few of the crimes that will land you into one of the prisons across the country. A few hundred years ago prison systems began across the world forcing criminals to pay time for what they had done. In todays world most of us know of someone who has been or is currently imprisoned. The question has to be asked, if our prison system is effective why do we hear about more people being arrested during these times more than ever before? There are nearly two million Americans imprisoned in our country today. The California Prison Focus notes the fact that there hasn't been another society in our humanity that has imprisoned so many of its own citizens. This staggering number shows that we have more of our own citizens imprisoned than any other country. In 1972 there wasn't even 300,000 citizens imprisoned by 1990 this number grew to one million, and since 2000 that number has doubled to two million. Include at least two common metrics associated with security and an organization 's budget. Security departments and employees commonly have to work with the organizations budgeting process to be able to plan for the replacement, maintenance, or installation of new security controls and systems. Often a security manager must create an outline or summary of the benefits, total system life costs, and the need for the system to justify the expenditures. They should also create a budget that allows the budgeting team to assess the proposal and compare it to other departments that are trying to allocate capital for their department's use. This in turn requires the use of several different metrics to identify the best allocation of capital. (McCrie, 2007; Fitzgerals, 2008) One such metric used by security departments and many organizations to ensure capitol is allocated in the areas it will do the most good is known as return on investment (ROI). ROI looks at the total amount of capital expenditures for the budgeted item or project. Management can then assess whether the total cost of the system provides the necessary return on investment to justify the expenditure. For example, if a security department was installing a new employee badging system, management would look at the capital cost of the system to assess if it provides the necessary return on investment by preventing unauthorized access and protecting ... Since researchers have not discovered a universally–accepted theory of aging, the theories discussed are potential explanations of how we age. The likelihood of each hypothesis is considered roughly equal. The different theories discussed focus on the workings of different parts of the body, from the molecular level of DNA mutations and replication, to the organism level of becoming "worn out." Aging is a very complex and gradual process, and its ongoing operation is present to some degree in all individuals. It is a journey to the maturity, as well as to the degeneration of the body. Because ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Since genes on DNA code for specific proteins, mutated genes may produce defective proteins, which do not work properly. Many proteins can be affected, such as enzymes, proteins comprising muscle tissue, and a recently discovered type of protein called transcription factors, which bind to DNA and regulate the individual activities of genes themselves. Physical mutagens are substances that increase the chance of mutation and include such physical phenomena as x–rays and radioactivity from radium. The atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan are examples of physical mutagens that caused an increase in the number of cases of leukemia. Certain chemicals and radiation cause mutations to occur in DNA by giving off high energy particles. These particles collide with the DNA and knock off atoms of the DNA randomly, damaging it. DNA consists of sequences of four possible nitrogenous bases: adenine, guanine, cytosine, and thymine, paired so that adenine always pairs with thymine, and guanine always pairs with cytosine. As cells repair the damaged DNA, a different DNA base is often substituted. This base–substitution is known as a point mutation and can cause the production of a defective or damaged protein. Apart from being caused by radiation or chemicals, mutations also occur spontaneously but at lower rates. Physicist Leo Szilard and biochemist Denham Harmon proposed that because most ... In what way should people interpret how the process of genocide works when coming across a statement from Adolf Hitler (1939) saying, "My pact with the Poles was merely conceived of as a gaining of time. As for the rest gentleman, the fate of Russia will be exactly the same as I am now going through with the case of Poland. After Stalin's death...we will break the Soviet Union. Then there will begin the dawn of the German rule of the earth" ("Poland Will Be Depopulated and Settled with Germans" document). Judging by the content of that statement, one may interpret that genocide works as a process to break down another country. To some extent, that is correct but one must learn that this process encompasses strategies in order to achieve the downfall of a country. For one thing, to understand how genocide works, one needs to know what that term means. Genocide is an intentional physical or cultural act of eliminating the population of a specific national, ethnical, racial or religious group (Kiernan). Moving forward, the process of genocide works as a cycle of manipulation and elimination to intentionally remove a certain group of people. This cycle of manipulation was applied towards targeted groups and those who enforced the platform of genocide. Influence was a force intended to manipulate how people think, as well as obedience. Targeted groups were influenced to believe their harsh conditions would eventually come to an end by obeying any given instruction. Also, those who ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

In the simplest case, a process has no beginning or ending work–in–process inventory. Considerable complexity is added when a process has both beginning and ending work–in–process inventory; this case necessitates selecting an inventory costflow method. The chapter illustrates two of these methods: the weighted–average method and the first–in, first–out (FIFO) method. Many detailed exhibits are included in the chapter because process costing is highly procedural. The chapter also explains how operation–costing systems determine the cost of products. What this is saying is that without out a balanced weight, the submarine won't be able to float which leads to the reason why it's important to surfacing. Weight also plays a role in surfacing because if the weight of the water is heavier than the craft, it may sink the submarine deep below the surface of the ocean and may be harder to surface at the top. And lastly is the buoyancy. According to the article How submarines work, it states "The upward force that the water has on the vessel is known as the buoyant force. However, I will describe motivation as any factor which will cause an increase in my normal input into doing something, and with the knowledge and hope that a reward will be gained afterwards. Lastly, Valence is the strength of an individual's preference for a particular outcome (Armstrong, & Dawson, p97 & 98). The importances of these features are essential to work place motivation, because firms rely on a motivated workforce to sustain the business position, to survive or reach the business objective(s). Adding to the above, a study by Stolovitch, found that tangible incentives i.e. perks greatly increases employees performance, and workers are likely to be motivated by this. He also stated that incentives destroy personal, intrinsic interest in work and long term incentives programs have a stronger impact than short–term ones. (Anonymous, Sept 2004, Pg.1–4) Further to this, if an employee does not value the reward for a certain performance highly enough, it is likely that he or she is unlikely to will not increase their performance level. In terms of looking at Dr Vroom's expectancy theory, the main critic is that his model only indicates the conceptual determinants of motivation. In any case, it was hard for me to consider new plans to add to my paper because of the way that the greater part of my written work prompts were coordinated and nobody was permitted to utilize open book to look into any new data, which is the reason numerous understudies battled amid the composition procedure and quickly came up short on thoughts. Presently since I'm in school and my composition isn't planned, I intend to add more plans to my paper through research, for example, the Internet, magazines, podcasts, books, and so forth for any theme. Truth be told, in the event that I have a written work task that contains two prompts and I have the alternative to switch themes, I may do that too in light of the fact that numerous understudies may change starting with one point then onto the next on the grounds that they either feel more great with the subject and they can think of a bigger number of thoughts for their paper than the theme that they were at that point stayed with. My teachers once disclosed to me that it is smarter to have a greater number of thoughts than to simply stick to just a single subject since one point won't not work and you may not think of a lot of thoughts. Before concocting any thoughts for my paper, the best technique for me to organize my thoughts was on a web graph on a different sheet of paper. This strategy is superior to anything beginning to freewrite immediately on a bit of paper since when you initially compose, you're composing won't not bode well and after that there's the complexities of modification. Additionally, it is valuable to make a web chart ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The current process costs the company a lot of money. Pertinent information is not provided immediately causes a waste of time. The pertinent information includes: cost codes, project codes. Another issue is two to three weeks advance notice of travel and travel preferences is not provided. Flight selections cannot be saved while traveler decides on a flight schedule. Being able to save from 48 to 72 hours would provide ample decision time. Therefore, once the traveler reviews and selects flights, the prices increase and/or the flight(s) are not available.
