DOES YOUR CARRIAGE AWAIT?
Sick of hearing the word recession? Feel as though every time you turn around the
headlines are screaming of economic decline, depression or the credit crunch? Well,
that’s probably because you’re working with one of the only businesses that really
doesn’t have the need for these desperate words in its vocabulary.
For instance, take the car industry. It’s a pretty accurate barometer of the nation’s
economy and that barometer is currently dipping incredibly low. March car sales in
Britain were down 30% and the industry is now facing several years in which
consumers will start to rebuild their savings – after all, waiting an extra year to replace
the car is a pretty painless way to cut back.
So, if the news that over 100 of our Distributors have just returned from a luxury
Caribbean incentive on board the largest sailing yacht in the world sticks in the throat
of the recession – imagine our delight on finding out that six of those Distributors
returned to hear the news that they had won a brand new car.
Yes, bang in the middle of one of the most turbulent times the car industry has ever
faced, we’re GIVING AWAY some top-of-the-range cars in recognition of Distributors’
hard work.
Throughout the life of your Kleeneze business, there are tons of incentives you can qualify for whatever your level. However, the range of cars up
for grabs is always a popular goal. From Jaguars to Aston Martins and BMWs to Mercedes, the car awards are also consistently upgraded to
include some of the most prestigious models available – and, best of all, they’re yours to keep for life.
As part of our 85th anniversary celebrations, in January 2008, we announced that any Distributorship that hit Bronze Executive Distributor level
for the first time in 2008 and held it for a further eight periods out of eleven last year would be awarded a shiny, brand new Vauxhall Corsa.
First to snap up the prize was Andrew Buxton and Laura Kelly. However, we now have two more Distributorships who have grabbed this unique
prize – Jack Kirby and Chantelle Molloy and Richard and Clare Chantler.
Jack and Chantelle already stormed 2008 when they qualified for the Double, meaning they got to experience both the Autumn Destination in
Vienna and the Ultimate Spring Destination on board Club Med 2 in the Caribbean. The couple started out part-time with Kleeneze straight after
graduating from university and now, eight years later, are without a doubt one of Kleeneze’s major up-and-coming stars.
“When the Corsa incentive was announced back at the January Showcase last year we felt we had a good
chance of going for it, because there were a few people in our team who wanted to qualify for the Autumn
Destination – so we made a plan to get to Bronze by Period 5,” explained Jack.
“Period 5 came and we had 2 new Gold distributorships (Julie Cotton and Neil Tomkinson and
Peter and Caren Neesham). It had become a massive team effort, with team sizzles devoted to qualifying for
the Autumn Destination. We held Bronze over the summer and this meant, not only that we had six of our
team with us in Vienna in October, but that we’d also qualified for Club Med 2 – an incredible feeling.
So all we had to do was hold Bronze for another six months and the Corsa was in the bag. Easy, right?
Wrong! There were a few hiccups and challenges along the way. I managed to pull
a nerve in my back in June which laid me up for 6 weeks and Peter and Caren CONTINUED ON NEXT PAGE

found out they were expecting a baby (Holly arrived on Boxing Day). So at the start of 2009 we had missed 3 periods so we had to hold period
1, 2 and 3 or we would lose it.
The team were incredible and got out of the blocks flying in period 1 with some massive retail and sponsoring which has been sustained
ever since. Period 3 ended on the Thursday before we were due to fly to the Caribbean and I was a nervous wreck - up at 5am to check the
figures. That was quite a week, finding out we had won a free car and then jetting off to a luxury cruise with a cabin upgrade thrown in for
good measure.
We were on Club Med 2 with 6 of the Pegasus Group there and all the top leaders. It was our first international, but definitely not the last. Like
we hear at all the meetings, once you have set a goal and are focussed on it then you find a way to achieve it. It also helps if you have a fantastic
team behind you, so a huge thank you to all of our team and also Kleeneze for putting on such fantastic incentives.”
Richard and Clare Chantler are another up-and-coming Distributorship that are storming the pay
plan at the moment, collecting a brand new Corsa on the way! This comes just two weeks after
returning from the Caribbean Cruise and five months after winning the Mini Cooper and a trip
to Vienna!
“We’re so excited about the business at the moment,” enthuses Clare. “It’s all happening at
once at the moment – and has just been incredible since the beginning of last year. I think that
it has more to do with the climate than anything else. We seem to be recruiting more
professional, dedicated people who are so motivated at the moment and working so hard.”
As Richard’s testimonial at the New Year Showcase this year illustrated, it hasn’t always been
easy for the couple since they joined the business in 2003, however, they’re a shining example
of where your business can go if you just persist and put in the hard work and part of a wave of
Distributorships that are suddenly making their mark
“Yes, it’s like we’re part of a new generation at the moment,” agrees Clare. “We do have
amazing support from Jackie and Peter (White) though – they’re such a guiding influence. We
actually did join Kleeneze just to make some extra money for our wedding, but our lives are so
much different now.
“These incentives are amazing. And they’re on offer to be taken – so everyone should just go for them! For our team, I think to have us qualify

A STORY THAT SELLS
It’s not a very well-kept secret that in any business it’s the stories that do the selling. Facts may prove your
point, pictures can paint a thousand words, but it’s stories that are the deal breaker. This is why methods such
as EzeReach prove so effective or why a piece in the press can help with your recruitment. Telling your
compelling story can not only work as an ice-breaker, but helps tap into people’s emotions. People just aren’t
really that interested by facts and figures – but they are interested in stories that they can relate to. Real
people doing extraordinary things.
Silver Senior Executives Peter and Myrna Wellock have a brilliant story, coming from the brink of financial ruin
to heading one of the fastest growing businesses in the company. Having recently returned from the
Caribbean Cruise, the pair recently made headline success thanks to also qualifying to win a Mini Cooper.
Their article is now up on the Kleeneze public site for you to download and use
