Diet Coke Car Wash Commercial
Diet soda has become a popular drink in America. It appeals to most people because it has all the
taste of a regular soda with none of the calories. With many people trying to limit their calorie
intake, diet soda is a clear choice. The company Diet Coke is using this to their advantage. Diet
Coke has made many commercials using upbeat music as well as using fun and inventive places for
their advertisement to take place. By including both men and women and in their commercials, they
do not limit their perspective customers to one specific group of people; instead, they open the door
to anyone who wishes to walk through. The Diet Cokes car wash commercial first aired back in
March of this year. At the beginning of this commercial, a woman drives her car into a car wash. She
is sitting in the car waiting for the washing cycle to end, while waiting; she opens a glass bottle of
Diet Coke. After taking the first sip of her soda, the car wash turns into a 1920's themed party. She

Everything that has font on it is enlarged, so that the viewer can read it with ease and not have to
wonder about what it is they are reading. There are very few small objects used in the commercial,
but when they are used, the small objects are grouped together to create a point of visual interest.
Around the point of visual interest, there is usually an enlarged version of the company logo, there
are also people near those areas dancing, laughing, smiling, and having a good time. Within the
commercial there is a small amount of pathos, with the lively dancing, people smiling, laughing and
having a wonderful time. The pathos is effective because the entire commercial is happy, not just the
people, not just the music, not just the colors in the background, but the entire commercial. The
company did this so that when potential consumers see the soda in the store they will associate the
product with

Essay on How To Wash A Car
How to wash a car
There is many different ways to wash a car, but here is the correct way that generally works for the
majority of people. Washing a car thoroughly takes five different steps to complete a clean exterior.
Step1: Wheels are a good place to start, because the cleaning products for wheels work best on dry
surfaces. Spray on the solution as directed by the instructions, and see if the dirt and dust is
removed. Use a little more spray in bad areas to help get the wheels completely clean. Try and get
all road grime and grease off of the wheels. Use a soft brush to clean cracks and crevices on the
wheels, but don't scrub too hard. If you have alloy wheels, make sure that the cleaner is safe for the
clear coat that may be on it. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Next fill the bucket with the recommended ratio of water and soap. Using hot water will affect the
cars wax so be sure to use cool water. Don't use more soap than the instructions say to use, because
more soap removes more wax. If possible use less soap to help save your car.
Step4: Since there's more dirt on a car's sides and panels, use two plans. First, work from top to
bottom of the car. Secondly, switch to a separate mitt or towel when getting to the bottom of the car,
where there are dirtier areas. Switching to different mitts or towels keeps scratches to a minimum
that is why it is important to do so. Thoroughly wet down the section of the car about to be washed,
and dunk the cleaning mitt or soft cotton towel into the soap bucket. Wipe gently cleaning the roof,
hood, and trunk of the car. Make sure to dunk the mitt or towel frequently, and shake it in the soap
bucket to let the grime wash out. Rinse each surface after it's been washed by lightly misting it off
with the hose. Rinsing as you finish washing is very important. Don't wash a section and then leave
it to wash another section this is very bad practice. The dirty soap can dry on the surface of the car,
and then you're back where you started!
Step5: Dry the surfaces of the car in the same order that you washed them. Move the towels around
gently not to scratch anything. Take a clean cotton towel or chamois and lay it on the surface to blot
up the water. Switch

Literary Techniques Used In Megan Sapnar's 'Car Wash'
Inferno Inside Pythagoras theorizes that "if there be light, then there is darkness," and in Megan
Sapnar's "Car Wash," she creates a metaphorical connection between a story of darkness with an
everyday activity. Sapnar uses a parallel between Dante Alighieri's Inferno and her own poem to
highlight the progression of dark to light. With the use of visualization, Sapnar is able to create an
unseemly modern connection to Dante's Inferno using a parallel between psychotic depression and
an automated car wash. The beginning of the poem's excerpt from Dante's Inferno from Divine
Comedy provides Sapnar a basis for animation throughout the poem. As the poem begins, the reader
is instantly set in the dark tunnel, commonly seen in automated car washes, alluding to the "dark
woods" aforementioned in the excerpt from Dante's Canto I of Inferno (Sapnar 00:03). In Dante's
beginning excerpt, he describes the "dark woods" as "tangled and rough," paralleling the chaotic
movement and blending of car wash images and flashing lights that Sapnar uses in the animation
(Sapnar ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Before the poem starts, the reader sees a list of random words. The randomization can also be a
representation of psychosis and its symptoms: incoherent speech and jumbled thoughts. Sapnar's
original writing plays throughout the actual car wash and works as an exemplification of suffering
described in Inferno in the form of mental illness. The tunnel, as it follows the darkness until it
reaches the light, also serves as a double entendre for suffering in depression. At the end of the
tunnel, Sapnar displays a bright white light, representing healing or a heaven (Sapnar 01:22). Sapnar
writes about the "attendants [...] greet the soul who makes a quiet entrance," alongside the white
background, suggesting that the attendants are angels greeting those who have suffered into heaven
after their battles have ended (Sapnar

The Effects Of Gunshot Residues On A Criminal Investigation
Gunshot Residues are a critical and an important trace evidence used in a criminal investigation.
Recovering and analyzing GSR evidence is carried out in order to link an individual to a certain
firearm. Finding GSR on a person's hand does not necessarily mean that he/she is the one that fired
the weapon. At the same time not finding any GSR particles does not prove that that person was not
the shooter. Gunshot Residues can easily be transferred to various surfaces not only by being in
contact with a firearm, but also shaking a hand with a person that has handled a weapon or any other
ammunition charged components. The formation of the GSR is due to the rapid cooling of the
discharge gasses and solid matter, originating from partially reacted components of the primer and
propellant, as well as the metallic composition of the firearm and ammunition. The residues can be
easily deposited onto the hand of the shooter and later transferred to other parts of the body such as
the skin, clothing and hair. Information taken from various reports and analysis throughout the years
show us that GSR are deposited on the skin (hand) immediately after the firing. The highest chance
of detecting a significantly good amount of residues is within the 1st hour of the incident. In practice
after 6hours GSR cannot be expected from a living person. There are many reports on how Gunshot
residues react with the skin, hands, clothes, as well as how to remove them. The important question
is what

Car Wash Poem Analysis
What happens after death? Do souls go to Heaven? Are souls reincarcerated? Religions such as
Buddhism, Jainism, and Sikhism believe in a form of rebirth after death. In Megan Sapnar's "Car
Wash" she uses text, sound, and animation to imitate the theory. The beginning of poem begins with
random words and letters, such as "saint I dream cool" (Sapnar). These random words represent an
infant's ability to use language. When beginning to speak, children can string together nonsensical
words, as Sapnar did. At the end of the e–poem, a final poem appears, and it starts with the word
"morning" which is a stock symbol for the beginning of life. The poem then switches screens and a
poem about "midway on life's journey" (Sapnar). The poem then

Descriptive Essay About The Accident
He may seem like any other 9 year old boy playing with his action figures, video games, destroying
stuff throughout the house and basically blowing up anything he can find, but that's not the case.
Never being the outgoing type, playing with other kids or making new friends, Tyson was the type
to keep to himself, do whatever he wants, when he wanted to and talk to who he wanted to. Mom
and dad always pushing them to go play outside, go make some friends, thinking their kid was a
little strange. Was he strange? Tyson ignored what he heard and would continue to do what he
wanted. Little did his parents know, their little boy was a totally different person at night. It all
started on July 4th, 2005, on his way home from the 4th of July parade, while fireworks were being
set off Tyson was struck by a misfired firework and was knocked out, hours later waking up in the
hospital. After several different tests and examinations, the doctors did not see anything unusual
with Tyson, a broken leg and a few bumps and bruises were about it. After 3 weeks of recovery and
getting back on his feet, Tyson was back to normal, that was before he found out that he was
affected in the accident. Things have been a little off the past couple weeks with recovering and
regaining his strength in his leg. Random glitches through his body, gaining strength out of nowhere,
and being smarter than ever. Classes were suddenly easier than they were before the accident, Tyson

Remember The Most Important Day Of The Day
It was a cold Friday morning in suburbia when Nancy had woken up to a loud drilling across the
street. There were children rushing to school with their bags weighing them down and parents on
their mobile phones trying to explain to their coworkers why they were running late. It looked like a
somewhat normal end to the week.
As Nancy pulled back the curtain, she saw a builder bent over drilling into the pavement with his
crack on show. She sighed and laid back down. It was only until Nancy looked towards the poster
across the room of the Hocus Pocus movie that it suddenly dawned on her. She smiled as she
remembered it was Halloween! How did she forget? How did she not remember the most important
day of the year? Jumping up with excitement Nancy head toward the cupboard next to the poster
where her wand was and chuckled "TODAY IS THE DAY!"
What was the day and what was going to happen? Nancy was known to be a grumpy thirty five year
old living in the suburbs of New York. She wasn't well known however she was known for her
inability to exchange pleasantries in the neighbourhood.
Nancy got downstairs and found a stack of things to do. She was a housewife. Her husband was a
corporate boss working in the city and she was the stay at home wife. This was by choice so she
could work her magic during the day and while he was asleep at night. Lately things seemed to be
dreary in the Brown household. Her husband Quinn would sleep in their bed while Nancy would

Dilma Rousseff's Operation Car Wash Scandal
Things have begun to go wrong in Brazil since its President, Dilma Rousseff was elected for a
second term in October 2014. After she won her second presidential election, her approval ratings
have plunged. "63% of respondents around the country said her government was 'bad or terrible,'
with only 13% saying it was 'good or excellent'". Experts say these numbers reflect the voter's
disappointment in finding out about the corruption scandal with the state–controlled oil company
Petrobras and that she may have manipulated Brazil's account books to hide a growing deficit.
Rousseff was head of the board at Petrobras from 2003 to 2010 and most of her opponents said she
must have known about the scandal. The investigation showed that Operation Car Wash has put in
important figures from President Rousseff's Workers' Party but also some of her opponents. The
impeachment was based off the claim that she manipulated the government's accounts when she was
seeking re–election.
Millions of Brazilians went into the streets in an anti–government protest on March 13. Figures have
suggested about 3.5 million people took part in it in more than 300 cities across Brazil. Many of
these people wrapped themselves up in the Brazil flag and said they wanted "their country back".

1. Introduction:
During this project, we tested if washing your hands multiple times would affect the bacteria growth
on your hands. I think that the more you wash your hands, than there would be less bacteria growth
each time. This experiment will help to show us just exactly how the bacteria on our hands if
affected as we wash them. This way we will be able to see the bacteria better because a single
bacteria would need a microscope to be visible to the human eye. Since I wiped my finger on the
agar plate, the bacteria will grow fast and will start to form colonies of bacteria. After the bacteria
forms colonies, you won't need a microscope to be able to see the bacteria. This will show us how
washing your hands can keep you from getting sick or spreading a sickness you already have. 2.

There are different types of car soaps available on the market. It is a good idea to know what you are
looking for in this particular product.
1. Car wash soap. This is the typical soap you use to remove dust, dirt, and other road debris found
in your hood and Windows.

it's important to be gentle. Wet the vehicle in order to wash away sand, dirt, and other debris before
you ever take a sponge, or cloth to the car. Not rinsing the car first may result in your dragging a

Analysis Of Sweat By Zora Neale Hurston
Sweat
Introduction:
Zora Neale Hurston's short story "Sweat" presents the efforts and endurance of a very strong
miserable wife, over the course of fifteen years of marriage with an abusive, disloyal, and odious
husband. As the narrator tells us, Delia is a wash woman who pays for all of their expenses by
washing white people's clothes. And even though she is a very strong woman, but like most people,
she also has a fear of something, and that fear is the snake. During the course of this story, Delia's
fear is abusively manipulated by her husband, Sykes, to purposely drive her out of her house. But
his plan "returns to haunt him" and backfires. In fact, this is the combination of an irony and main
purpose of the story: you will eventually ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
His rage over the previous statement in the story is illustrated by stepping " roughly upon the whitest
pile of things, kicking them helter–skelter as he crossed the room"(104). But Delia stands against
him by reminding him that it is her sweat, cry, blood, pray, and hard work as a wash women for
white people during their 15 years of marriage that has purchased their house and fed their bellies.
Additionally, we come to know that, not only Delia but also the other men in their town dislike
Sykes and have negative viewpoints against him. This is revealed when Delia passes by a group of
the man sitting on the porch of Joe Clarke's store and saying that "Syke Jones ain't wuth de shot an'
powder hit would tek tuh kill 'em. Not to huh he ain't"(106).
Later on in the story, the narrator demonstrates the growing emotional relationship that exists
between Sykes and his mistress, Bertha. As he starts taking her out on the town, treats and buys her
whatever she asks, pays for her room–rent, and even telling her that "Everything b 'longs tuh me an '
you sho kin have it. You kin git anything you want. Dis is mah town an ' you sho ' kin have it". One
might instantly think whatever he does to drive Delia out is mere to bring Bertha into that house.

Advantages Of Supplier Forces And Car Spa Express
Supplier Power – Low
There are many different suppliers who sell similar product. Thus it is easy for a car wash to change
supplier. Significant amount of product substitutes available, which reduces bargaining power of
suppliers, as if one supplier will increase the price, demand will fall and it is easy to change supplier
to another one. There is low power of brand and low possibility of suppliers' integration; they are
more likely to be competitors. The switching cost from one supplier to another is low. In addition,

It is important that the soap is designed for a car 's finish. Regular dish soap or detergent will not
work. These soaps will strip the wax off your car and eventually dull the finish. I recommend
Armorall brand soap. I have found that the best kind is called Quick Wash & Wax. This soap not
only does a good job cleaning; it also has a wax in the formula that helps to keep your car clean. It
repels dirt and doesn't allow the dirt to stick to the paint. You can purchase this for about five to
seven dollars. Now that you have the supplies, make sure you have running water and a water hose.
You can use a spray nozzle but it is not crucial; you can do a good job with out it. Before you start,
park your car out of direct sunlight and on a hard surface. You should park on concrete if possible;
this will keep dirt and mud from splashing up on the car when you rinse it off. Now fill up your
bucket with water and mix the soap as directed. Next soak the car down with water; do this a couple
of times. The water helps to loosen the dirt and grime. Submerge your wash cloth completely in the
bucket of soap and water. Do not ring out the towel, take it dripping wet and start to wash you car.
Start at the top and work your way down, using the wash cloth in a circular motion with a little bit of
pressure. If it is a hot day, then you probably need to wash the car in sections. For example, wash the
roof, windshield, and hood, and then set the wash cloth back in the bucket

I think I struggled with conversion as I have a fear of saying something incorrect. That is something

Furthermore, when I was told about Mr X having had spinal surgery I think that I should have
spoken up and said to my SNE could we please have a bit more of a briefing on Mr X condition,
from the registered nurse that was assigned to Mr X about what I can and cannot do with him. Also,
to know anything else that they think might be important to know. Such as if he is moved to much

overall experience was a positive one I felt it went well and the Mr X was happy with his bed bath. I
could have made more of an attempt to talking to Mr X and to have spoken up wanting to know
more about his condition. I realised that I need not be so nervous. I also need to work on my

For mothers who are Caucasian, their child's hair texture can be quite the challenge, and make for
unfamiliar territory; but there are a few tips for moms who want to make sure their child's hair is
strong, healthy and beautiful while maintaining the child's unique texture. Do Not Use Chemical
Relaxers: Sure, by slapping "creamy crack" on your child's unruly hair, it will become more
manageable, but there are consequences to using chemicals on your child's hair. For one thing, it
breaks down the hair and causes hair to become more vulnerable to split ends and breakage.
Chemicals such as hair relaxers contain an ingredient known as "lye" which can burn the child's

indefinitely causing, hair loss. Wash Hair Once or Twice a Week: Most Caucasians wash their hair

should be washed only once or twice a week is because biracial and multiethnic hair texture is prone
to becoming dry and needs more moisture. The scalp produces natural oils so that it can nourish the
hair and should not be washed out frequently. That being said, only wash your child's hair once or
twice a week so that the natural oils can help nourish the hair. Use Botanical Oils: Never use
petroleum products on your child's locks. Petroleum products will clog pores and make hair growth
nearly impossible, also causing the hair and scalp to attract more dirt and build up. Use botanical
oils such as: grapeseed oil, coconut oil, and/or olive oil daily to prevent breakage and promote
healthy hair growth. These types of oils help nourish the hair by increasing sheen, strength, silkiness
and moisture without a greasy build–up. With these simple

La Bemba Case Study
Nestled in the foothills on the western slope of the Sierra Nevadas adjacent to a beautiful river, La
Bemba, California is an insignificant town with a population that is under two hundred people. In
this small town, there was an automobile repair shop with two bays; the smell of gasoline and grease
hang in the air and the owner where Jim Bob Lovejoy, a short, pudgy bearded specimen who
dropped out of high school when he was fourteen, can fix anything with a motor. The bakery, down
the block and across the street specializes in a Danish pastry that is flaky and buttery and sweet and
when a person bites into the warm pastry, it mixes with the fruit filling to create sheer pleasure in
one bite. The butcher shop was built by a mysterious man ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

Being the son of Don Smith, who was a local farmer that grew and supplied La Bemba with the
grains that the bakery used in various types of bread and other goods, Luke was expected to inherit
the family farm. He constantly aided his father on the farm and was being shown how to run the
place should he ever have to step up. John's father, Nick Rivera, was the butcher and John grew up
being taught all of the way to butcher anything that came through his father's shop. Anything from a
hog to the occasional horse and rabbit all passed through the butcher shop. Leroy's mother, who
maintained the bakery where he was taught how to make bread, doughnuts, various rolls, and
biscuits, raised Leroy while schooling him to do all of the things she had known her entire life.
Martha Jenkins, Leroy's adopted mother, was strict in her ways of baking and treated her craft as if it
were a divine gift. Consequently, Leroy deeply understood every process that went into making
every type food for the town. Not many others could tell if the foods were cooked just right or if the
right amounts of each ingredient was in the product, just by tasting

access to both manual and automatic car wash equipment. For those that want automatic car washes
they will have access to the newest technology and top–line products for their vehicles. For those
that chose manual there will be a variety of wash products available for their use. This gives the

the locations will decrease the wait time that is currently experienced at the gas station locations.
Additionally we will have larger bays to accommodate, boats, trailers and RV's. This is important
since boating and outdoor activities are very prominent in this area; as well this is not available at
other locations in Apple Valley. Each bay will offer multiple payment options. You will be able to
choose from cash, credit, debit, fleet, car wash PIN's (can be purchased online), and gift cards. The
competitors have locations that only take cash or PIN's, very few have a credit card option. This

It was called the washing. Its purpose was to "wash the impurities" out of everyone's head. Man no
longer had morals, and no one followed laws. Brother was scared of brother and sister turned on
sister. The bigger picture was, if no one remembered wrongdoings in their past they would not do it
in their future. it was kind of like a reset button...but for humans. Really, it was just a way to
depersonalize the population because robots are always easier to control than human's who had
something to fight for. They started with small, with inmates, then moved to anyone even accused of
a crime. Soon workplaces and schools required it. Some resisted, and they were executed, so if the
soldiers came to your door you had to comply or die.

Entry one: Commander said soldiers are required to keep a journal, something about psychiatric
health. Today is the first day of my life, well the life I remember. All I know is my name and basic
things, like how to tie my shoes, write, speak, and brush my teeth. i don't remember the relationships
of my past but I understand how they work, for the most part anyway. When I woke up from the
washing, Commander showed me and other soldiers a video of what happened to our world and
what our purpose in life is. I found out I can shoot a gun with extreme precision and my
identification number is 24601. Tomorrow, I will begin training with other soldiers.

Salt Busters Essay
Obtaining market share is important for a new business to grow. Market share is a primary indicator
companies use to measure how well they are doing against the competition (Suttle, 2016). Market
share is associated with profits (percent of sales), and there are several ways to increase market
share, such as making changes to services, pricing, promotional, and advertising methods (Christ,
2016).
With car sales on the rise (a car wash necessity), and growth in employment, the car wash industry
will see an increase in the car washing business. However, with fierce competition, and the number
of car wash service providers, leaders in the industry will only account for 15% to 20% market share
(PRWEB, 2011).

The objective for Salt ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Kenneth J. Cook, author of the AMA Complete Guide to Small Business Marketing, states that,
"Your position relative to the competition is more important. "You want to know basically if they
dominate you, if you are relatively equal in size, or if you dominate them" (Cook, 1993).
Salt Busters will use the formula (Market Share = Firm's Sales / Total Market Sales) to determine
their market share performance (Quick Mba). However, in the car wash business sales are normally
determined by the number of customers served.
Strategies
Salt Buster's marketing strategy is to create customer awareness on the effects of salt water
remaining on their vehicles for a period of time (DMV, n.d.). This message will be communicated
through several different advertising methods. Salt Busters will also network heavily with local
businesses, and create customer loyalty programs, while building trust.
Salt Busters will use the following strategies to gain market share (Mplans.com):
Pricing– A "Punch Card" loyalty system will be offered as well as a discount on services to all

Assignment 2.1 Analysis
Chaplain Intern Program – Assignment 2
1. What is a servant leader? How is being a student leader at ORU tied to servant leadership?
Great leaders don't just tell they do, and I think that by leading with a servant heart means you do
just that. You don't just tell others that you're the leader and expect them to follow you; you live your
life in such a way that others want to look up to you as a leader in their life. You meet the needs of
others and humble yourself always. A servant leader makes sure that all the people around them are
set up for success in life.
Dean Boyd brought up the point that: being a servant leader takes commitment to everyone, not just
the ones that are easy to be in relationship with. That is a point that stuck ... Show more content on

Examples of Jesus building relationships in the gospels.
Matthew 17:1 – This verse shows us that Jesus went away with 3 of his disciples. He chose Peter,
James, and John as an inner circle of friends with whom he went away with. I think this is key in
relationships. I can be friends with and love on many but at the end of the day it is important to have
my inner circle of people to confide in and rely on for intimate support. I have to be my best self so
that I can give my best to others around me.
John 13:1 – Right before Jesus washes his disciple's feet it talks about how He had loved them in
their time of ministry and He loved them to the end. This is why Jesus wanted to wash their feet.
From this I took that it is important for me to love others always. Loving makes others feel valued,
this is key in creating healthy successful relationships. As has been said before, others don't care
how much you know until they know how much you care.
Luke 22:7–30 – This holds a very practical example of Jesus building relationship with His
disciples, Jesus had dinner with them. Jesus spent a lot of time with His disciples, and when the end
was near He still wanted to be with his 12 closest ones. Simply by making time and going to dinner
or coffee with others around me I can build relationship with

car you should use 100% Cotton towels (white only) that are made in the U.S.A. or the Absorber.
The absorber is made from Surgical Silicone and will not leave swirl marks on your car. However,

However, the Absorber will not absorb dirt or particles like the towels. Therefore, you have to pay

so far. You shouldn't have any dirt on your car after you wash it.

Diet Coke Car Wash Commercial

  • 1. Diet Coke Car Wash Commercial Diet soda has become a popular drink in America. It appeals to most people because it has all the taste of a regular soda with none of the calories. With many people trying to limit their calorie intake, diet soda is a clear choice. The company Diet Coke is using this to their advantage. Diet Coke has made many commercials using upbeat music as well as using fun and inventive places for their advertisement to take place. By including both men and women and in their commercials, they do not limit their perspective customers to one specific group of people; instead, they open the door to anyone who wishes to walk through. The Diet Cokes car wash commercial first aired back in March of this year. At the beginning of this commercial, a woman drives her car into a car wash. She is sitting in the car waiting for the washing cycle to end, while waiting; she opens a glass bottle of Diet Coke. After taking the first sip of her soda, the car wash turns into a 1920's themed party. She sits in ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Everything that has font on it is enlarged, so that the viewer can read it with ease and not have to wonder about what it is they are reading. There are very few small objects used in the commercial, but when they are used, the small objects are grouped together to create a point of visual interest. Around the point of visual interest, there is usually an enlarged version of the company logo, there are also people near those areas dancing, laughing, smiling, and having a good time. Within the commercial there is a small amount of pathos, with the lively dancing, people smiling, laughing and having a wonderful time. The pathos is effective because the entire commercial is happy, not just the people, not just the music, not just the colors in the background, but the entire commercial. The company did this so that when potential consumers see the soda in the store they will associate the product with ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 3. Essay on How To Wash A Car How to wash a car There is many different ways to wash a car, but here is the correct way that generally works for the majority of people. Washing a car thoroughly takes five different steps to complete a clean exterior. Step1: Wheels are a good place to start, because the cleaning products for wheels work best on dry surfaces. Spray on the solution as directed by the instructions, and see if the dirt and dust is removed. Use a little more spray in bad areas to help get the wheels completely clean. Try and get all road grime and grease off of the wheels. Use a soft brush to clean cracks and crevices on the wheels, but don't scrub too hard. If you have alloy wheels, make sure that the cleaner is safe for the clear coat that may be on it. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Next fill the bucket with the recommended ratio of water and soap. Using hot water will affect the cars wax so be sure to use cool water. Don't use more soap than the instructions say to use, because more soap removes more wax. If possible use less soap to help save your car. Step4: Since there's more dirt on a car's sides and panels, use two plans. First, work from top to bottom of the car. Secondly, switch to a separate mitt or towel when getting to the bottom of the car, where there are dirtier areas. Switching to different mitts or towels keeps scratches to a minimum that is why it is important to do so. Thoroughly wet down the section of the car about to be washed, and dunk the cleaning mitt or soft cotton towel into the soap bucket. Wipe gently cleaning the roof, hood, and trunk of the car. Make sure to dunk the mitt or towel frequently, and shake it in the soap bucket to let the grime wash out. Rinse each surface after it's been washed by lightly misting it off with the hose. Rinsing as you finish washing is very important. Don't wash a section and then leave it to wash another section this is very bad practice. The dirty soap can dry on the surface of the car, and then you're back where you started! Step5: Dry the surfaces of the car in the same order that you washed them. Move the towels around gently not to scratch anything. Take a clean cotton towel or chamois and lay it on the surface to blot up the water. Switch ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 5. Literary Techniques Used In Megan Sapnar's 'Car Wash' Inferno Inside Pythagoras theorizes that "if there be light, then there is darkness," and in Megan Sapnar's "Car Wash," she creates a metaphorical connection between a story of darkness with an everyday activity. Sapnar uses a parallel between Dante Alighieri's Inferno and her own poem to highlight the progression of dark to light. With the use of visualization, Sapnar is able to create an unseemly modern connection to Dante's Inferno using a parallel between psychotic depression and an automated car wash. The beginning of the poem's excerpt from Dante's Inferno from Divine Comedy provides Sapnar a basis for animation throughout the poem. As the poem begins, the reader is instantly set in the dark tunnel, commonly seen in automated car washes, alluding to the "dark woods" aforementioned in the excerpt from Dante's Canto I of Inferno (Sapnar 00:03). In Dante's beginning excerpt, he describes the "dark woods" as "tangled and rough," paralleling the chaotic movement and blending of car wash images and flashing lights that Sapnar uses in the animation (Sapnar ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Before the poem starts, the reader sees a list of random words. The randomization can also be a representation of psychosis and its symptoms: incoherent speech and jumbled thoughts. Sapnar's original writing plays throughout the actual car wash and works as an exemplification of suffering described in Inferno in the form of mental illness. The tunnel, as it follows the darkness until it reaches the light, also serves as a double entendre for suffering in depression. At the end of the tunnel, Sapnar displays a bright white light, representing healing or a heaven (Sapnar 01:22). Sapnar writes about the "attendants [...] greet the soul who makes a quiet entrance," alongside the white background, suggesting that the attendants are angels greeting those who have suffered into heaven after their battles have ended (Sapnar ... • 7. The Effects Of Gunshot Residues On A Criminal Investigation Gunshot Residues are a critical and an important trace evidence used in a criminal investigation. Recovering and analyzing GSR evidence is carried out in order to link an individual to a certain firearm. Finding GSR on a person's hand does not necessarily mean that he/she is the one that fired the weapon. At the same time not finding any GSR particles does not prove that that person was not the shooter. Gunshot Residues can easily be transferred to various surfaces not only by being in contact with a firearm, but also shaking a hand with a person that has handled a weapon or any other ammunition charged components. The formation of the GSR is due to the rapid cooling of the discharge gasses and solid matter, originating from partially reacted components of the primer and propellant, as well as the metallic composition of the firearm and ammunition. The residues can be easily deposited onto the hand of the shooter and later transferred to other parts of the body such as the skin, clothing and hair. Information taken from various reports and analysis throughout the years show us that GSR are deposited on the skin (hand) immediately after the firing. The highest chance of detecting a significantly good amount of residues is within the 1st hour of the incident. In practice after 6hours GSR cannot be expected from a living person. There are many reports on how Gunshot residues react with the skin, hands, clothes, as well as how to remove them. The important question is what ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 9. Car Wash Poem Analysis What happens after death? Do souls go to Heaven? Are souls reincarcerated? Religions such as Buddhism, Jainism, and Sikhism believe in a form of rebirth after death. In Megan Sapnar's "Car Wash" she uses text, sound, and animation to imitate the theory. The beginning of poem begins with random words and letters, such as "saint I dream cool" (Sapnar). These random words represent an infant's ability to use language. When beginning to speak, children can string together nonsensical words, as Sapnar did. At the end of the e–poem, a final poem appears, and it starts with the word "morning" which is a stock symbol for the beginning of life. The poem then switches screens and a poem about "midway on life's journey" (Sapnar). The poem then ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 11. Descriptive Essay About The Accident He may seem like any other 9 year old boy playing with his action figures, video games, destroying stuff throughout the house and basically blowing up anything he can find, but that's not the case. Never being the outgoing type, playing with other kids or making new friends, Tyson was the type to keep to himself, do whatever he wants, when he wanted to and talk to who he wanted to. Mom and dad always pushing them to go play outside, go make some friends, thinking their kid was a little strange. Was he strange? Tyson ignored what he heard and would continue to do what he wanted. Little did his parents know, their little boy was a totally different person at night. It all started on July 4th, 2005, on his way home from the 4th of July parade, while fireworks were being set off Tyson was struck by a misfired firework and was knocked out, hours later waking up in the hospital. After several different tests and examinations, the doctors did not see anything unusual with Tyson, a broken leg and a few bumps and bruises were about it. After 3 weeks of recovery and getting back on his feet, Tyson was back to normal, that was before he found out that he was affected in the accident. Things have been a little off the past couple weeks with recovering and regaining his strength in his leg. Random glitches through his body, gaining strength out of nowhere, and being smarter than ever. Classes were suddenly easier than they were before the accident, Tyson not ever asking for help ... • 13. Small Town Research Paper Twin city is a great small town in Emanuel County Georgia. I have been around Twin city since I was about 5 or so and it has been a good experience. There were children rushing to school with their bags weighing them down and parents on their mobile phones trying to explain to their coworkers why they were running late. It looked like a somewhat normal end to the week. As Nancy pulled back the curtain, she saw a builder bent over drilling into the pavement with his crack on show. She sighed and laid back down. It was only until Nancy looked towards the poster across the room of the Hocus Pocus movie that it suddenly dawned on her. She smiled as she remembered it was Halloween! How did she forget? How did she not remember the most important day of the year? Jumping up with excitement Nancy head toward the cupboard next to the poster where her wand was and chuckled "TODAY IS THE DAY!" • 22. Dilma Rousseff's Operation Car Wash Scandal Things have begun to go wrong in Brazil since its President, Dilma Rousseff was elected for a second term in October 2014. After she won her second presidential election, her approval ratings have plunged. "63% of respondents around the country said her government was 'bad or terrible,' with only 13% saying it was 'good or excellent'". Experts say these numbers reflect the voter's disappointment in finding out about the corruption scandal with the state–controlled oil company Petrobras and that she may have manipulated Brazil's account books to hide a growing deficit. Rousseff was head of the board at Petrobras from 2003 to 2010 and most of her opponents said she must have known about the scandal. The investigation showed that Operation Car Wash has put in important figures from President Rousseff's Workers' Party but also some of her opponents. The impeachment was based off the claim that she manipulated the government's accounts when she was seeking re–election. Millions of Brazilians went into the streets in an anti–government protest on March 13. Figures have suggested about 3.5 million people took part in it in more than 300 cities across Brazil. Introduction: During this project, we tested if washing your hands multiple times would affect the bacteria growth on your hands. I think that the more you wash your hands, than there would be less bacteria growth each time. This experiment will help to show us just exactly how the bacteria on our hands if affected as we wash them. This way we will be able to see the bacteria better because a single bacteria would need a microscope to be visible to the human eye. Since I wiped my finger on the agar plate, the bacteria will grow fast and will start to form colonies of bacteria. After the bacteria forms colonies, you won't need a microscope to be able to see the bacteria. This will show us how washing your hands can keep you from getting sick or spreading a sickness you already have. 2. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... It is important that the soap is designed for a car 's finish. Regular dish soap or detergent will not work. These soaps will strip the wax off your car and eventually dull the finish. I recommend Armorall brand soap. I have found that the best kind is called Quick Wash & Wax. This soap not only does a good job cleaning; it also has a wax in the formula that helps to keep your car clean. It repels dirt and doesn't allow the dirt to stick to the paint. You can purchase this for about five to seven dollars. Now that you have the supplies, make sure you have running water and a water hose. You can use a spray nozzle but it is not crucial; you can do a good job with out it. Before you start, park your car out of direct sunlight and on a hard surface. You should park on concrete if possible; this will keep dirt and mud from splashing up on the car when you rinse it off. Now fill up your bucket with water and mix the soap as directed. Next soak the car down with water; do this a couple of times. The water helps to loosen the dirt and grime. Submerge your wash cloth completely in the bucket of soap and water. Do not ring out the towel, take it dripping wet and start to wash you car. Start at the top and work your way down, using the wash cloth in a circular motion with a little bit of pressure. If it is a hot day, then you probably need to wash the car in sections. For example, wash the roof, windshield, and hood, and then set the wash cloth back in the bucket ... For mothers who are Caucasian, their child's hair texture can be quite the challenge, and make for unfamiliar territory; but there are a few tips for moms who want to make sure their child's hair is strong, healthy and beautiful while maintaining the child's unique texture. Do Not Use Chemical Relaxers: Sure, by slapping "creamy crack" on your child's unruly hair, it will become more manageable, but there are consequences to using chemicals on your child's hair. For one thing, it breaks down the hair and causes hair to become more vulnerable to split ends and breakage. Chemicals such as hair relaxers contain an ingredient known as "lye" which can burn the child's scalp. Also, if a child is given a relaxer too young, the relaxer can damage the child's hair follicles indefinitely causing, hair loss. Wash Hair Once or Twice a Week: Most Caucasians wash their hair daily, however many biracial or multi–ethnic people of African decent do not. The reason why hair should be washed only once or twice a week is because biracial and multiethnic hair texture is prone to becoming dry and needs more moisture. The scalp produces natural oils so that it can nourish the hair and should not be washed out frequently. That being said, only wash your child's hair once or twice a week so that the natural oils can help nourish the hair. Use Botanical Oils: Never use petroleum products on your child's locks. Petroleum products will clog pores and make hair growth nearly impossible, also causing the hair and scalp to attract more dirt and build up. Use botanical oils such as: grapeseed oil, coconut oil, and/or olive oil daily to prevent breakage and promote healthy hair growth. These types of oils help nourish the hair by increasing sheen, strength, silkiness and moisture without a greasy build–up. With these simple ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Some resisted, and they were executed, so if the soldiers came to your door you had to comply or die. All I know is my name and basic things, like how to tie my shoes, write, speak, and brush my teeth. i don't remember the relationships of my past but I understand how they work, for the most part anyway. When I woke up from the washing, Commander showed me and other soldiers a video of what happened to our world and what our purpose in life is. I found out I can shoot a gun with extreme precision and my identification number is 24601. Tomorrow, I will begin training with other soldiers. Miriam There was a knock on the door. • 71. Salt Busters Essay Obtaining market share is important for a new business to grow. Market share is a primary indicator companies use to measure how well they are doing against the competition (Suttle, 2016). Market share is associated with profits (percent of sales), and there are several ways to increase market share, such as making changes to services, pricing, promotional, and advertising methods (Christ, 2016). Great leaders don't just tell they do, and I think that by leading with a servant heart means you do just that. You don't just tell others that you're the leader and expect them to follow you; you live your life in such a way that others want to look up to you as a leader in their life. You meet the needs of others and humble yourself always. A servant leader makes sure that all the people around them are set up for success in life. Dean Boyd brought up the point that: being a servant leader takes commitment to everyone, not just the ones that are easy to be in relationship with. That is a point that stuck ... From this I took that it is important for me to love others always. Loving makes others feel valued, this is key in creating healthy successful relationships. As has been said before, others don't care how much you know until they know how much you care.
