6. BUYING IMAGES
Contrary to popular belief, buying stock imagery is
not that expensive.
You can buy the smallest image size – which is always
the cheapest, and still looks great on a blog.
We personally like Veer for buying images piecemeal,
and iStockPhoto for buying them in bulk.

8. TAKING YOUR OWN PHOTOS
You don’t need fancy equipment to take great
photos anymore.
Use your cell-phone or point-and-shoot camera to
take photos of your products, your workplace or
aesthetically-appealing items around your office.
Just make sure you’ve got good lighting. Natural light
is best, of course. But if you must take photos
indoors, aim more than one lamp at your subject to
get more even lighting and eliminate shadows.

10. GETTING FREE IMAGES
Many stock image sites have freebies you can take
advantage of.

Creative Market gives out free images, backgrounds and fonts on
a weekly basis. You just need to sign up for their email list to get
notified.
Recently GraphicStock ran a promotion where you got 7 days of
free downloads simply by creating an account. As of this posting,
that deal is still going on.
iStockPhoto has a free photo of the week, every week. You just
have to check their site weekly to download it.
The ever-generous HubSpot has a ton of photos you can
download for free. Just sign up for their mailing list on their
landing page and you’ll get instant access.
