Overview in 10 seconds: Jabborate adds real-time communications to your Microsoft Cloud. The instant messaging, audio and video calls, become an integral part of your systems, so end-users can enjoy all the benefits of improved communication from a single, unified interface. Features supported: Presence, Instant messaging, Audio/video calls. CAPABILITY IN DETAIL Jabber is an open standard communication protocol (XMPP), as well as an enterprise-level communications solution from Cisco. Jabborate lets you collaborate with anyone on Microsoft Cloud by exchanging instant messages or making audio and video calls. Jabborate leverages the capabilities of Jabber SDK for Web to integrate with Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) and Cisco Unified Presence (CUP), be it on premise or in the data center (HCS). Communicating Jabborate uses Microsoft Cloud user directory (Active Directory) to build a contact list automatically. It extends the existing user interface, while keeping the same look and feel by adding its own visual components such as “click-to-chat” and “click-to-call” buttons, and presence status. You can view one’s presence status by simply looking at his or her profile card. Sending an instant message or starting voice and video call with any of your connections is as simple as clicking a button. Jabborate keeps all open communication channels in a separate tab. This allows you to interact with contacts and use the system at the same time. You can open several browser tabs containing different applications of the Microsoft Cloud and manage your chat or calls from any of them. You can start a chat session with several contacts from your social network simultaneously and Jabborate will keep each conversation in a separate tab within the chat pop-up. You can close or minimize the chat window at any time without losing track of the conversation: receiving a new instant message will open it again if it was closed or pop it up if was minimized. Jabborate also provides end-users with the ability to start a chat session with more than one participant. Each user can create a new chat room and invite participants from his or her contact list. The chat room appears as a new contact in Jabborate contact list, so the user can access it even after the chat window has been closed. The chat room exists until its owner closes it. You can start a voice or video call to anyone by pressing the “click-to-call” button on their profile. You can also dial a phone number directly using Jabborate's dialer keypad. This allows you to contact people who are not on your contact list. The conversation window displays information for all active calls as well as tools to manage the ongoing conversations. You can start or stop your video streaming, mute/unmute your microphone, or end the current conversation. The video call window also contains a video preview, which enables you to preview the camera output before joining a conversa
