You can view one’s presence status by simply looking at his or her profile card. Sending an instant message or starting voice and video call with any of your connections is as simple as clicking a button. Jabborate keeps all open communication channels in a separate browser window. This allows you to interact with contacts and use the system at the same time. You can open several browser tabs containing different pages of SharePoint and manage your chat or calls from any of them. You can start a chat session with several contacts from your social network simultaneously and Jabborate will keep each conversation in a separate tab within the chat pop-up. You can close or minimize the chat window at any time without losing track of the conversation: receiving a new instant message will open it again if it was closed or pop it up if was minimized. You can start a voice or video call to anyone by pressing the “click-to-call” button on their profile. You can also dial a phone number directly using Jabborate's dialer keypad. This allows you to contact people who are not on your contact list. The conversation window displays information for all active calls as well as tools to manage the ongoing conversations.
