Hyperglance from Real Status is a 3D modelling and visualisation software that combines IT dependency mapping and data visualisation into one screen for thousands of devices. It enables CIOs and their teams to see all the dimensions of inter-dependence between applications and infrastructure and combines that with performance and security.
Actual Experience provides software services that enable businesses to measure and manage application performance from the critical economic perspective of staff productivity. Unlike technical performance metrics, Perceptual Quality Scores provide a reliable indication of the real-world staff experience of any application. What can be measured can be improved. Consequently, Actual Experience is uniquely able to locate the real source of staff productivity problems within your IT supply-chain.
Both products are being offered together for the first time to provide users with a complete set of IT monitoring and visualisation tools; this will enable users to have a full understanding of the business impact on their physical and virtual IT infrastructures.
The webinar highlights how the two products came together along with their features and benefits.

Editor's Notes
Thank you very much ladies and gentlemen for joining us today. My name is Robert Smith from Intergence Systems and I am delighted to welcome Dave Page from the company Actual Experience, who will present later in the Webinar. Hyperglance and Actual Experience are the subjects of our webinar today, and as the title suggests we will be demonstrating both innovative products.
Just some housekeeping to start with:During this webinar, we will be using Audio Broadcast. The small box in the right hand corner will need to remain open throughoutTo chat to the hostclick on the speech bubble in the top right hand corner, then type in the text boxTo submit a questionclick on the question mark in the top right hand corner and open the Q&A boxIf you are Experiencing technical difficultiesplease email news@intergence.com or speak to us directly through the chat bar
We have a simple agenda today. It is split up in to 3 distinct partsI will be presenting the benefits of Hyperglance, including a live demo of real use cases.Dave Page will be presenting the benefits of Actual Experience, including a live demoAnd finally I will demonstrating the integration of the two products
A brief overview of Intergence Systems before we proceed. <click> <click> We were established in 2003 and have our main office in Cambridge in the UK and also have an office in the Middle East.<click>since 2003 we have seen 20% year on year growth<click> and we have worked with over 100 large enterprise customers during this period<click>
<click>We have two lines of business <click>Namely people, providing high level consultants covering networks, servers, security, cloud migration and project and program management <click>And Performance <click> where we have a number of Optimisation services including Application Performance Monitoring, Voice over IP readiness assessments, discovery and audit and Penetration testing. <click>And we are a product reseller for Hyperglance, Actual experience and Stonesoft Security Solutions
So the reason why Intergence Systems found this solution interesting is that it seems to solve many of the problems that our customers are facing. Those problems are commonly associated with<click> The mapping and analysis of infrastructure, <click> Risk and Compliance; where is my data, where is it processed, is my infrastructure resilient, what is my DR status,<click> Design and implementation: so they can scale for future demands <click> And operations management and support<click> Now when we engage with an organisation, we are always struck by the volume of data they possess. BUT despite this, there is rarely any great insight into the resilience, or security or efficiency of their infrastructure.<click> So lets take mapping and analysis first. Last year we assessed that there were around 170 NMS available. Many will map and analyse networks. However, no matter how sophisticated these solutions are, they don’t scale. Typically you will see visio diagrams. But typically those diagrams will be out of date. And how much information can you get on one diagram? The one on the screen is 40 devices. Imagine 400, or 4,000, or even 40,000 devices. <click> Then try and map your security and risk information onto that topology.<click> Then your heat and power. It soon becomes a problem. Typically managers will have insight into select parts of the infrastructure. BUT it is unlikely they will have a whole of infrastructure view<click> likewise for capacity planning, designers who don’t have a ‘whole of network’ view, will have a tendency to over provision. That is especially true for scoping processing capacity and bandwidth. Additionally with the introduction of cloud based services, we are seeing an increasing problem with VM sprawl which is just another example of how costs can increase enormously without proper capacity management.<click> and finally operations and support. We see network operators tending to work in a reactive way. They tend to respond to incidents rather than prevent them in the first place. Likewise 1st and 2nd line support usually have to manage expectations by offering, for instance, a fixed period for ‘time to resolution’. This is so they have enough time to unearth the logs and databases to get to the root cause.<click>
A question, how many dash boards does it take to change a light bulb? Well the answer, rather cynically appears to be that there are never enough. For example, here we have 5: Networks, Servers, Storage, Security and Virtualisation. However what we tend to find is that organisations try to manage their IT and service using many dash boards. Each one has value whilst looking at the particular technology silo but they are never integrated and therefore do not provide the insight required to look at the wider issues that an organisation faces: Risk and Compliance, speeding up fix times, understanding service quality experienced by their users. <click>
So cue HyperGlance? The system leverages your existing data management solutions to provide one management interface. <click>It achieves this by aggregating metrics derived from separate management tools, such as your network management system, your security management system, your virtualisation management interfaceYour user experience management interface, <click>
And presenting this into a 3D interface where you can see and navigate the whole infrastructureThis means you can keep your existing tools but use Hyperglance to add value to all of them.So because it makes data so accessible, this solution can be adopted by the CTO and CIO as well as Network Operations Capacity planning, infrastructure management, in fact pretty much every stakeholder in you IT estate.
So in summary, Hyperglance dynamically lays out your complete IT estate in a fully navigable 3D map, aggregating data from a number of different sources and visualises this data using user-defined views to provide the insight that no other solution can get near.<click>
So why use Hyperglance?Data is in silos, not integrated integrated with multiple sourcesThe presentation of data is usually engineering focussed and not easily consumed and understood in the context of service or risk or prioritisationExisting data sources and diagrams are often out of date or even completely incorrectThere is no current ‘whole of network’ view of their operations
So to summarise the key features before handing over to Dave Page, Hyperglance aggregates data from a number of sources and displays this in a 3D map.Unlike other visual mapping solutions, it scales to cater for 1000s of devicesIt provides the ability to monitor and control your IT infrastructure from a single view.It augments your existing tools, protecting your initial investments and creating more value from your existing tool setsFinally through the power of correlation it provides and exclusive focus that allows a user to find the often used metaphor “the needle in the hay stack”.<click>
At this point I would like to hand over to Dave Page of Actual Experience
Thank you Dave, I would now like to demonstrate to you the integration of Hyperglance and Actual experience.<share desktop>
How can Intergence support you?We can provide a free of charge initial analysis of how both products could help you manage and optimiseWe have fully trained Hyperglance and Actual Experience engineers who can install and configure both productsWe can provide classroom or one to one training on both productsFinally, we have a well established professional services business which we would be happy to discuss further our People and Performance lines of business
In Summary, Intergence are experts and resellers in two distinct innovative products that can be purchased independently of each other. These are Hyperglance – providing 3D visualisation of the entire IT estate, correlating technical and business datat to enhance IT managementAndActual Experience enabling customers to measure and manage user experience<click>Intergence have integrated the two, mapping user experience to infrastructure visualisation to create something that really
