The average amount raised went up $153k to $196k
(not many big projects during summer)
Successful projects went from 137 to 185. 26% of the projects
happened the last 3 months (53% last 6 months)
Projects raising more than $50k are increasing in numbers
compared to the ones below the $50k mark

End of the summer showed a return of strong projects.
October saw less projects, but large ones raised more.
Possibility of some form of cannibalism?
November is the time the $100k-$250k range showed volume.
Might be the end of the “you are or you are small” era.

The biggest change is the rise of the “Strategy” category.
Planet Annihilation is showing there.
RPGs and Adventure games stayed at the same level which
shows they had quite a couple of large successes too
(Project:Eternity).

15. CLOSING WORDS
Kickstarter is still going very strong. The end of the summer
has seen quite a few new high profile campaigns launched
(Planet Annihilation; Broken Sword; Project: Eternity) that will
likely make the numbers bounce back.
Overall, it feels like the platform is on the path to maturity
(for video games) and is getting there quite fast.
