The Structure Of Attitudes Through The Abc Model
Social psychologists know that people's attitudes define whether they have a successful, bright,
happy future. Most people can agree that this is the case, but people must ask themselves why
and what really makes up a person's attitude. In past years, attitude was recognized as one of the
most important psychological experiences of human beings. Over time, the significance of
attitudes has increased specifically in understanding how people come to be who they are. This
paper will discuss the structure of attitudes through the ABC Model which explains three different
components (affect, behavior and cognition) and how these components play a role in people's
lives. The positive or negative mentality and neural readiness towards an event, thing, place or
person are what attitudes represent. The affective component is the emotional response a person
has towards an attitude object. Throughout the day a person may find themselves feeling a wide
range of emotions like sad or happy, embarrassed or proud, envious or comfortable. An
unregulated affect can become dangerous to a person's health, however, normally our affective
experiences allow us to function properly in situation and aid in our chances of survival. People's
affective responses signal to them that things are well or not well depending on whether they are
in a good mood or not. The affect people experience may also contribute to how one engages in
particular behaviors; if a person is experiencing a positive affect,

ABC learning was founded in 1988 once the world's largest child care provider owned by Eddy
Groves. By 1996, ABC learning developed 18 childcare centers across Australia and the company
had a slow and steady growth since 1988. This report is composed to understand fundamental
failures and ethical issues in ABC Learning. This report will analyze the major financial reports
while discuss about the importance of each report to understand financial performance of ABC
learning.

ABC learning captured the opportunity and expanded their operations by acquiring ownership of
estates in key locations and obtaining small daycare centers with the decision of move the subsidy to
direct payments to families by the Australian government.
The explanation was so rapid, it owned 30 centers by 1999 and by 2001, ABC listed on the
Australian Stock Exchange, which allowed more access to capital and growth. By the end of the
year 2005, there were 660 child care centers in Australia and after two years, it owed 2,238 centers in

Problem
At the beginning of April, Carl Robbins was hired at ABC, INC. as a new recruiter. He successfully
hired several employees, even though he was fairly new at his job. This was his first recruitment
effort that turned out quite well. After this, the Operations Supervisor, Monica Carrolls, taskedCarl
to recruit 15 new employees to begin working at ABC in July. So Carl scheduled anorientation to
take place for the 15 employees on June 15th. Monica contacted Carl around May 15th to ensure that
the process to get the orientation started was underway and Carl assured her that the orientation
would be ready in time. Carl started working on the task to set up the orientation around the end of

Being hired at a big company like ABC, it can be a common misconception by management that
the employee knows what he/she is doing and that they may not need training at all. However,
that is not always the case as Carl has proved. It is important for the supervisor to help the
employee get a feel for his/her job and while they can not do the job for them, they can certainly
put them on the right path. It is also important to use proper communication when put in a
situation that can compromise the task. With Carl having lack of experience at his job he should
have felt comfortable enough to ask for help from his supervisor. By not doing this, he is putting
more failure in completing the task than success. It is also a common misconception with
supervisors that if the employee does not ask for help, they do not need it. Carl also proved that
this is not necessarily true and that supervisors should play an avid part in an employee's career.
Give them the freedom and space to do their job, but make sure they are doing it correctly. It is very
important to implement teamwork, especially in a company that is so popular among people and
plays an important role to the entertainment industry.
Alternatives
First off to help remedy the situation that Carl is in, the supervisor should have stepped in to at
least advise Carl on what should be done or what needs to be done. This doesn't necessarily mean
that Carl can not perform his job because once again, he is

The ABC Company is a manufacturing firm that specializes in making cedar roofing and siding

reaching $3 million annual sales within the next 3 years. Explain the overall risk profile of the ABC
Company based on current economic and industry issues. In order to help out the CEO I prepare
reports that will contain the information regarding the project. These statements refer to the

When product prices are stout, investors, governments and other stakeholders comprehend the

product prices encourage more deed, and that boost demand and costs for labor and supplies.
Governments around the globe are facing tough challenges as a result of the present economic
environment. Inflatable deficits generate strong incentive for governments to raise tax revenues by
increasing or introducing new percentage and income taxes. With the current high prices of cedar
shingles and the large cash balances accumulated by some manufacturing companies at present.

Case Study: ABC Healthcare
As a recently established company ABC Healthcare has a still developing information technology
structure that was initialized with a centralized structure in mind. As a centralized structure we can
clearly distinguish the data servers as the centralized information unit, managed and maintained by
single network administrator, a recently hired IT network security officer who directly reports to the
CIO (Chief Information Officer). All nodes on the network connect via a switch that controls
incoming and outgoing traffic, posing as a future single point of failure for the system. All working

credentials that can easily lead to unauthorized access by a thereat agents (internal or external).

Abc Model Of Crisis Intervention Paper
The ABC Model of Crisis Intervention and the ACT Model are very similar in in their technique to
most efficiently and effectively treat individuals in the event of a crisis. The focus of the ABC
model is to identify how the client perceives the precipitating event, alter those perceptions, and
provide community referrals and other resources. The model is based on Jones's ABC Method of
Crisis Management: A– achieving rapport, B– boiling the problem down to the basics, and C–
coping. The A in the ABC Model refers to building rapport with clients. Only through attending
behaviors, open and closed ended questions, clarifying, paraphrasing, reflection and summarization
can the counselor and client maintain understanding and expand and elaborate...show more content...
The C in the ABC Model refers to coping. This stage in the model allows the client to take control of
where they want to go in their treatment. Throughout treatment, clients are presented with enough
tools to start problem solving on their own. Clients are to propose their own coping methods, and
reach out for help when they have exhausted their resources. The model suggests that clients are
more likely to follow through with a plan they created for themselves, and counselors should seek
commitment from the client that they will follow through. The focus of the ACT model is
assessments and intervention strategies. Robert's Seven–Stage Crisis Intervention Model is heavily
used in this model. The stages are extremely similar to the ABC Model. They include: assessment,
establish rapport and rapidly establish relationship, identify major problems (crisis precipitants), deal
with feelings and emotions (including active listening and validation), generate and explore
alternatives, develop and formulate an action plan, and establish follow–up and agreement. There is
a great emphasis on assessment in this

MEMORANDUM

TO: Members of the Board of Directors of ABC Steel, Inc.
FROM: Jordan S. Rigert
SUBJECT: Recommendation Regarding Whether to Relocate ABC's Manufacturing Operations to
China
With the EPA and union putting pressure on ABC Steel Incorporation, we as the Boards of
Directors need to make a critical decision on whether or not we should relocate our manufacturing
operations to China. We as the board must keep in mind our duty to abide by a Code of Ethics. If
we decide to resolve this decision by relocating to Chine, we would significant violate our ethical
requirements adopted by ABC. There are two principle components that must be addressed. First is
the EPA compliance issue of water andair pollution, and the second...show more content...
Regarding the costs we are currently dealing with in Reading, it is clear that the more ethical and
economic decisions is for ABC to stay where we currently are. This will able us to pursue our
fiduciary duty to the EPA, community, shareholders, customers, and employees. In order to hold to
our Code of Ethics, we must comply with the EPA. If we decided to move our operations to China,
our 120 years of loyalty to the community would be destroyed. With regards to my final
recommendation, I recommend that we choose not to buy China's steel mills. Instead, we shawl
continue to produce steel in the United States in Reading, Pennsylvania. Trump Administration
intends to cut taxes and increase spending for steel related projects. As a result, the U.S. steel
demand would increase and market price would go up, allowing an optimistic vision for the

Dear Mr. Doe,
I am writing you today with hopes to propose changes for the fee to bring a guest to the Athletic
Club. I have been a member of the ABC Athletic Club since 2011 and would like to bring my
brother, who lives out of town, to the club with me when he comes to visit, at a more reasonable
rate. Therefore, not only will this be a benefit for us to have quality time together, but it will also
benefit the health club in various ways.
One way, I would like to propose, is allowing a current member to bring a guest to the club at a more
reasonable cost. One suggestion would be to lower the fee to $5 a day instead of $10 with a
minimum number...show more content...
After the pleasure of being a guest for a week at your facility, a current yearly member would
encourage the possibility of others to become a member themselves. With the countless amenities
that are offered at your facility, which includes but is not limited to the multiple saunas, Olympic
lifting platforms, and the locker rooms that are equipped with showers, lockers, and changing rooms
these would entice any guest to consider their wants and needs.
As a member of the ABC Athletic Club, it is a pleasure to be part of this fitness world. This club is
much more than a workout facility, it also includes the benefits of strengthening the mind while
building a healthy body. With access to the right equipment and personal trainers, this ensures that
the exercise programs fit an individual's needs. Also, with the use of proper techniques provided,
this facility provides a safe and fun environment but includes the assurance that one can get the
most out of each exercise routine and make it an enjoyable place to be. Having these choices has
helped provide me the best exercise plan for my own personal fitness goals.
I would like to have the opportunity to meet with you and discuss these ideas further. Please feel
free to contact me by email at jeremy.webb222@yahoo.com or my cell phone @270–781–5514.
Again, thank you for the time and consideration in this matter.

Importance Of Abc
At a very young age, we learn the ABCs and remember them throughout our lives. ABC is also an
essential mnemonic to be used and never be forgotten by a medical professional during an
emergency when dealing with a patient. ABC stands for airway, breathing, and circulation, which
must all be assessed in the following order during a medical emergency. Nurses learn that airway,
breathing, and circulation should be corrected before anything else because these three things are the
most life–threatening if there happens to be an issue. First, life–threatening airway problems are
assessed by checking to make sure the airway is opened and treating it if needed. Some signs of a
partially obstructed airway include a changed voice, noisy breathing, abnormal

Overview of the Business:
ABC Learning Ltd was an Australian provider of early child hood education services, founded in
Queensland in 1988, that through its 18 centres was the largest single operator of early childhood

continued to grow, through the opening of new centres and the acquisitions of rivals i.e. peppercorn

Mr Groves' corporate governance practices were poor, and is currently in legal proceedings
regarding interparty transactions, this was certainly news worthy, and damaged the company's
reputation and slowed investor confidence. Additionally, the price paid to companies was deemed to
be above market norms, siphoning more money from the companies depleted coffers.
Critics are focused on the "mess" of the books for ABC Learning Centres Ltd, specifically the
complex way in which revenue and profits were accounted for, "particularly the way compensation
payments from centre developers were counted as revenue" (Thompson 2008). The Financial
position of ABC Learning centres was misrepresented and projected a positive image of the
financials, until Auditors Ernst and Young were required to pour over the books after the collapse.
All of these issues are summed up in Thompsons (2008) assertion that Groves was the right man to
grow the business but not the right man to manage the business, had the right manager been in place
then the organization may have been able to turn its fortunes around.
The Ethical Issues of the case: Firstly there is a significant Ethical and morale lapse in a share

How do I as a professional measure how my students are acting form day to day and the answer is
with an ABC Analysis Chart. An ABC Analysis Chart allows me as the teacher to record
antecedent(s), behavior(s) and consequence(s) of my students as situations should arise if need be.
When using the ABC Analysis Chart, I had to first write down all the antecedents of the student

I say that only on the fact that kids do things like this all the time when they can't get what they
want. Rather than accepting the fact that they can't get everything sometimes. They would rather
try to make the person or their parent fill guilty or embarrass about what is happing in order to get
it. The best example is of me when I was younger. I would ask my dad if I could go with him
when he would go to the store or to work, but he would tell me know, in order to get what I
wanted I would cry and then there I was riding with him wherever he had to go. This is what I
believe to be happing that caused the young boy to throw these temper tantrums all over the
house or wherever they were. The stagey I believe that can best help him is for is his parents to
set expectation and rules for when he is home and away. By having guidelines that he can follow
and understand will better curve this behavior, but it will not happen overnight. He will give a lot
of flak and try to push back, but his parents must stand their ground and become united therefore he
will understand who's the boss in the home. This can be done if both parents stay strong and put in

123 Test Reflection
For the 123 Test, my results showed that my openness to experience is low, my conscientiousness
is very low, my extraversion is very low, my agreeableness is high, and my natural reactions are
very high. The descriptions given to me included down–to–earth, spontaneous, reserved,
compassionate, and prone to worry. I think that the test describes me pretty well, however I feel that
my score on conscientiousness should have at least been in the mid range. I also think that the test
is valid and tests what it is supposed to. I don't think the test is reliable in the sense that a person can
choose whatever choice they want. I also think that sometimes a person may make different choices,
especially on questions that were harder for the test taker to answer.
My score on the Psychology Today test gave me a 47 on a scale of 100 for my success orientation.

I feel that these scores pretty much match how I actually am. I think I am a bit more organized than
the test concluded but the other results were pretty accurate. I think that the test is valid in what it
wanted to test, however like the other tests, I think that the reliability is low because sometimes
people's answers can change on a day–to–day basis for some of the questions. I think that the three
tests supported some of the thoughts that I already had about my personality. The 123 Test and
the Big Five test were pretty accurate, however I did not agree with the description given for the
Psychology Today test. I think that the test was not beneficial because it gave a score that was only
based on scoring above or below the 50th percentile. That means that scores like mine that were at
47 were not as accurate to my actual personality as they could

Abc Book Analysis
Throughout time, books change themes and focuses. As the world progresses socially and
politically, so do the ideas that inspire authors. This is apparent in children's books. Children's
books are books chosen by parents, to read to their own children. They usually reflect the ideals
and views that they wish to pass down to their children. A is for Activist was published in 2013
and was written and illustrated by Innosanto Nagara. Eric Carle's ABC was published in 1974 and
was written and illustrated by Eric Carle. These two books differ in publication by 34 years.
Although A is for Activist and Eric Carle's ABC are both ABC books, they have many similarities
and differences. The illustrations of these two children's books also reflects their difference in age.

Eric Carle's ABC is more of a simple ABC book. Each letter is an animal, which represents a very
easy–going, traditional ABC book. The goal of Carle's book is to simply teach children a way to
remember the ABC's through association with animals. For example, the letter "L" simply stands
for lizard. A is for Activist is more of a modern take on an ABC book. The goal of this book is to
not only teach the ABC's, but to teach children about activism and social justice. Each letter
represents an aspect of social justice. For example, the letter "L" stands for "L–G–B–T–Q! Love
who you choose, 'cuz Love is true!". This shows a great difference in age. In 1974, when Eric
Carle published Eric Carle's ABC, it was not important to educate children about social justice.
Back then, it was believed that children didn't need to know about public issues and politics. A is
for Activist, being more modern, shows how parents now believe it's important for their children to
be informed of the problems of the

Creating ABC Daily To-Do List
In the article in our book, "Planning Sets You Free" it gives a lot of good information on how to
remain organized in your life by scheduling, setting goals, and prioritizing. It also talks about how
OneNote can assist you with all of this. And you always need to plan, or else your life will end up
being a stressful mess. OneNote is great for many things such as brainstorming, setting up vacations
with your family, forming ideas, and probably most important for me as well as other college
students, organizing our daily activities to fit in our homework. This leads to creating your ABC
To–Do List. To create an ABC Daily To

navigate and use OneNote. I would suggest using OneNote, since it is much less messy, in a way
that I mean how easy it is to lose things like I do. With OneNote you can just keep it on your
computer or tablet. The ABC Daily To–Do List is a way to prioritize your daily activities and work,

Task Analysis Using Abc / Abm
Task analysis using ABC/ABM
Task analyses of the three Workflows were carried out using the task process diagrams created as
described above. In management accounting, direct costs are defined as items with identifiable
prices, such as drugs. Conversely, indirect costs are those for which multiple tasks are included and
determining the relationship between the source and the cost accounting subject is difficult. In
examining referral patients, importation of brought–in external PDI images was included as an
indirect cost because various occupations and departments were involved and because it was not
directly connected to the examinations. For task analyses, ABC, a method of accounting that
addresses indirect cost allocation, was used. The ABC method calculates cost per activity unit by
classifying tasks into smaller activity units.18) By subdividing the task process into activity units,
ABC enables the calculation of labor costs required for data importation.
While ABM uses ABC as an analysis tool for task improvement,21) the main characteristic of ABC
is that it separates final results into value–added activities (those that add value), and
non–value–added activities (those that do not add value). The resulting information allows for
re–examination of the overall task process by determining whether or not each activity is adding
value to the product. A previous study in the field of radiation19–20) that used ABC showed most of
the tasks related to storing brought–in

When Carl hired the new hires, he failed to inspect the required manuals and booklets that were

Poor Carl will benefit greatly from the OATS method. OATS stands for objectives, activities, time

what he needs to do to achieve his objective he needs to set a time frame and schedule. Sometimes

  • 1. The Structure Of Attitudes Through The Abc Model Social psychologists know that people's attitudes define whether they have a successful, bright, happy future. Most people can agree that this is the case, but people must ask themselves why and what really makes up a person's attitude. In past years, attitude was recognized as one of the most important psychological experiences of human beings. Over time, the significance of attitudes has increased specifically in understanding how people come to be who they are. This paper will discuss the structure of attitudes through the ABC Model which explains three different components (affect, behavior and cognition) and how these components play a role in people's lives. The positive or negative mentality and neural readiness towards an event, thing, place or person are what attitudes represent. The affective component is the emotional response a person has towards an attitude object. Throughout the day a person may find themselves feeling a wide range of emotions like sad or happy, embarrassed or proud, envious or comfortable. An unregulated affect can become dangerous to a person's health, however, normally our affective experiences allow us to function properly in situation and aid in our chances of survival. People's affective responses signal to them that things are well or not well depending on whether they are in a good mood or not. The affect people experience may also contribute to how one engages in particular behaviors; if a person is experiencing a positive affect, Get more content on HelpWriting.net

He successfully hired several employees, even though he was fairly new at his job. This was his first recruitment effort that turned out quite well. After this, the Operations Supervisor, Monica Carrolls, taskedCarl to recruit 15 new employees to begin working at ABC in July. So Carl scheduled anorientation to take place for the 15 employees on June 15th. Monica contacted Carl around May 15th to ensure that the process to get the orientation started was underway and Carl assured her that the orientation would be ready in time. Carl started working on the task to set up the orientation around the end of May and...show more content... Being hired at a big company like ABC, it can be a common misconception by management that the employee knows what he/she is doing and that they may not need training at all. However, that is not always the case as Carl has proved. It is important for the supervisor to help the employee get a feel for his/her job and while they can not do the job for them, they can certainly put them on the right path. It is also important to use proper communication when put in a situation that can compromise the task. With Carl having lack of experience at his job he should have felt comfortable enough to ask for help from his supervisor. By not doing this, he is putting more failure in completing the task than success. It is also a common misconception with supervisors that if the employee does not ask for help, they do not need it. Carl also proved that this is not necessarily true and that supervisors should play an avid part in an employee's career. Give them the freedom and space to do their job, but make sure they are doing it correctly. It is very important to implement teamwork, especially in a company that is so popular among people and plays an important role to the entertainment industry. Alternatives First off to help remedy the situation that Carl is in, the supervisor should have stepped in to at least advise Carl on what should be done or what needs to be done. This doesn't necessarily mean that Carl can not perform his job because once again, he is Get more content on HelpWriting.net

  • 8. Abc Model Of Crisis Intervention Paper The ABC Model of Crisis Intervention and the ACT Model are very similar in in their technique to most efficiently and effectively treat individuals in the event of a crisis. The focus of the ABC model is to identify how the client perceives the precipitating event, alter those perceptions, and provide community referrals and other resources. The model is based on Jones's ABC Method of Crisis Management: A– achieving rapport, B– boiling the problem down to the basics, and C– coping. The A in the ABC Model refers to building rapport with clients. Only through attending behaviors, open and closed ended questions, clarifying, paraphrasing, reflection and summarization can the counselor and client maintain understanding and expand and elaborate...show more content... The C in the ABC Model refers to coping. This stage in the model allows the client to take control of where they want to go in their treatment. Throughout treatment, clients are presented with enough tools to start problem solving on their own. Clients are to propose their own coping methods, and reach out for help when they have exhausted their resources. The model suggests that clients are more likely to follow through with a plan they created for themselves, and counselors should seek commitment from the client that they will follow through. The focus of the ACT model is assessments and intervention strategies. Robert's Seven–Stage Crisis Intervention Model is heavily used in this model. The stages are extremely similar to the ABC Model. They include: assessment, establish rapport and rapidly establish relationship, identify major problems (crisis precipitants), deal with feelings and emotions (including active listening and validation), generate and explore alternatives, develop and formulate an action plan, and establish follow–up and agreement. Rigert SUBJECT: Recommendation Regarding Whether to Relocate ABC's Manufacturing Operations to China With the EPA and union putting pressure on ABC Steel Incorporation, we as the Boards of Directors need to make a critical decision on whether or not we should relocate our manufacturing operations to China. We as the board must keep in mind our duty to abide by a Code of Ethics. This will able us to pursue our fiduciary duty to the EPA, community, shareholders, customers, and employees. In order to hold to our Code of Ethics, we must comply with the EPA. If we decided to move our operations to China, our 120 years of loyalty to the community would be destroyed. With regards to my final recommendation, I recommend that we choose not to buy China's steel mills. Instead, we shawl continue to produce steel in the United States in Reading, Pennsylvania. Trump Administration intends to cut taxes and increase spending for steel related projects. As a result, the U.S. steel demand would increase and market price would go up, allowing an optimistic vision for the Get more content on HelpWriting.net

I have been a member of the ABC Athletic Club since 2011 and would like to bring my brother, who lives out of town, to the club with me when he comes to visit, at a more reasonable rate. Therefore, not only will this be a benefit for us to have quality time together, but it will also benefit the health club in various ways. As a member of the ABC Athletic Club, it is a pleasure to be part of this fitness world. This club is much more than a workout facility, it also includes the benefits of strengthening the mind while building a healthy body. With access to the right equipment and personal trainers, this ensures that the exercise programs fit an individual's needs. Also, with the use of proper techniques provided, this facility provides a safe and fun environment but includes the assurance that one can get the most out of each exercise routine and make it an enjoyable place to be. Having these choices has helped provide me the best exercise plan for my own personal fitness goals. I would like to have the opportunity to meet with you and discuss these ideas further. • 11. Importance Of Abc At a very young age, we learn the ABCs and remember them throughout our lives. ABC is also an essential mnemonic to be used and never be forgotten by a medical professional during an emergency when dealing with a patient. ABC stands for airway, breathing, and circulation, which must all be assessed in the following order during a medical emergency. Nurses learn that airway, breathing, and circulation should be corrected before anything else because these three things are the most life–threatening if there happens to be an issue. First, life–threatening airway problems are assessed by checking to make sure the airway is opened and treating it if needed. Abc Learning Case Study Overview of the Business: ABC Learning Ltd was an Australian provider of early child hood education services, founded in Queensland in 1988, that through its 18 centres was the largest single operator of early childhood education services in Australia by 1997. Led by founder Eddy Groves, ABC Learning Ltd continued to grow, through the opening of new centres and the acquisitions of rivals i.e. peppercorn Childcare in 2004 in which 450 centres were purchased for $340 million. "By 2008, ABC Learning was the largest provider of childcare, holding around 20 per cent of the long day care market and providing care to over 100 000 children" (Senate education, employment workplace relations committee, 2009). Additionally, the price paid to companies was deemed to be above market norms, siphoning more money from the companies depleted coffers. Critics are focused on the "mess" of the books for ABC Learning Centres Ltd, specifically the complex way in which revenue and profits were accounted for, "particularly the way compensation payments from centre developers were counted as revenue" (Thompson 2008). The Financial position of ABC Learning centres was misrepresented and projected a positive image of the financials, until Auditors Ernst and Young were required to pour over the books after the collapse. All of these issues are summed up in Thompsons (2008) assertion that Groves was the right man to grow the business but not the right man to manage the business, had the right manager been in place then the organization may have been able to turn its fortunes around. An ABC Analysis Chart allows me as the teacher to record antecedent(s), behavior(s) and consequence(s) of my students as situations should arise if need be. When using the ABC Analysis Chart, I had to first write down all the antecedents of the student which I saw take place. Next I wrote down the behavior(s) I saw him or her display while the antecedent(s) was going on. After I have written down what I've seen and heard I then write what consequence(s) arose due to the student's behavior. They would rather try to make the person or their parent fill guilty or embarrass about what is happing in order to get it. The best example is of me when I was younger. I would ask my dad if I could go with him when he would go to the store or to work, but he would tell me know, in order to get what I wanted I would cry and then there I was riding with him wherever he had to go. This is what I believe to be happing that caused the young boy to throw these temper tantrums all over the house or wherever they were. The stagey I believe that can best help him is for is his parents to set expectation and rules for when he is home and away. By having guidelines that he can follow and understand will better curve this behavior, but it will not happen overnight. He will give a lot of flak and try to push back, but his parents must stand their ground and become united therefore he will understand who's the boss in the home. This can be done if both parents stay strong and put in the work that needs to be Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 15. 123 Test Reflection For the 123 Test, my results showed that my openness to experience is low, my conscientiousness is very low, my extraversion is very low, my agreeableness is high, and my natural reactions are very high. The descriptions given to me included down–to–earth, spontaneous, reserved, compassionate, and prone to worry. I think that the test describes me pretty well, however I feel that my score on conscientiousness should have at least been in the mid range. I also think that the test is valid and tests what it is supposed to. I don't think the test is reliable in the sense that a person can choose whatever choice they want. I also think that sometimes a person may make different choices, especially on questions that were harder for the test taker to answer. My score on the Psychology Today test gave me a 47 on a scale of 100 for my success orientation. ...show more content... I feel that these scores pretty much match how I actually am. I think I am a bit more organized than the test concluded but the other results were pretty accurate. I think that the test is valid in what it wanted to test, however like the other tests, I think that the reliability is low because sometimes people's answers can change on a day–to–day basis for some of the questions. I think that the three tests supported some of the thoughts that I already had about my personality. The 123 Test and the Big Five test were pretty accurate, however I did not agree with the description given for the Psychology Today test. I think that the test was not beneficial because it gave a score that was only based on scoring above or below the 50th percentile. That means that scores like mine that were at 47 were not as accurate to my actual personality as they could Get more content on HelpWriting.net

This is apparent in children's books. Children's books are books chosen by parents, to read to their own children. They usually reflect the ideals and views that they wish to pass down to their children. A is for Activist was published in 2013 and was written and illustrated by Innosanto Nagara. Eric Carle's ABC was published in 1974 and was written and illustrated by Eric Carle. These two books differ in publication by 34 years. Although A is for Activist and Eric Carle's ABC are both ABC books, they have many similarities and differences. The illustrations of these two children's books also reflects their difference in age. In Eric Carle's ABC, traditional art styles are used. Eric Carle uses acrylic paint and cut paper to illustrate his books. His book also has more...show more content... Eric Carle's ABC is more of a simple ABC book. Each letter is an animal, which represents a very easy–going, traditional ABC book. The goal of Carle's book is to simply teach children a way to remember the ABC's through association with animals. For example, the letter "L" simply stands for lizard. A is for Activist is more of a modern take on an ABC book. The goal of this book is to not only teach the ABC's, but to teach children about activism and social justice. Each letter represents an aspect of social justice. For example, the letter "L" stands for "L–G–B–T–Q! Love who you choose, 'cuz Love is true!". This shows a great difference in age. In 1974, when Eric Carle published Eric Carle's ABC, it was not important to educate children about social justice. Back then, it was believed that children didn't need to know about public issues and politics. A is for Activist, being more modern, shows how parents now believe it's important for their children to be informed of the problems of the Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 17. Creating ABC Daily To-Do List In the article in our book, "Planning Sets You Free" it gives a lot of good information on how to remain organized in your life by scheduling, setting goals, and prioritizing. It also talks about how OneNote can assist you with all of this. And you always need to plan, or else your life will end up being a stressful mess. OneNote is great for many things such as brainstorming, setting up vacations with your family, forming ideas, and probably most important for me as well as other college students, organizing our daily activities to fit in our homework. This leads to creating your ABC To–Do List. To create an ABC Daily To –Do List, you either need a notebook or know how to navigate and use OneNote. I would suggest using OneNote, since it is much less messy, in a way that I mean how easy it is to lose things like I do. With OneNote you can just keep it on your computer or tablet. The ABC Daily To–Do List is a way to prioritize your daily activities and work, as well as your short–term, mid–term, and long–term goals....show more content... Then you need to prioritize in order of importance, what absolutely needs to be done and what can hold for a day or two. Whenever you're done with a task, make sure to cross out whatever it is that you have completed, otherwise you may have forgotten that you already did that and may do it again. The key to all of this is just to keep calm and don't overwork yourself, or you might get stressed out. When the end of the day comes, evaluate on all that you accomplished for the day. • 18. ABC, Inc.: Case Study An initial audit of the network for ABC, Inc. was conducted before proceeding to see if any of the existing infrastructure can be used in the new implementation. This audit consisted of ensuring that the current existing hardware can support this implementation, or if other hardware or software would need to be purchased. The business just conducted a technical refresh a few years back, upgrading all servers and routers to support expansion efforts. The existing network currently has a Microsoft Exchange email server for company emails, a Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) server to manage all images created and group policies for all workstations, a management server running Microsoft Server 2012, a Microsoft SharePoint server running all Intranet company sites, and a tunnel router with connection to the Internet. The company also has its own Certificate Authority (CA) server and a RADIUS server, which it uses to create and manage its own authentication certificates for devices. The...show more content... Each device is managed by the SCCM server, and has a CA certificate on it that allows for device authentication on the network. User accounts also authenticate the user to access the network. The company has issued Dell E7440 laptops and mobile Samsung S7 smartphones to employees who travel outside the business to engage customers. Desktops and laptops have standard software loads such as Microsoft Office Suite for employees to conduct work with. The smartphones have nothing outside a standard phone load; they were issued just so the employees can make contact. Employees expressed a need of being able to pull emails from the phones while in transit and have the ability to conduct some business via document reading and editing. They also expressed being able to access company resources and data on the SharePoint sites while working Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 19. Task Analysis Using Abc / Abm Task analysis using ABC/ABM Task analyses of the three Workflows were carried out using the task process diagrams created as described above. In management accounting, direct costs are defined as items with identifiable prices, such as drugs. Conversely, indirect costs are those for which multiple tasks are included and determining the relationship between the source and the cost accounting subject is difficult. In examining referral patients, importation of brought–in external PDI images was included as an indirect cost because various occupations and departments were involved and because it was not directly connected to the examinations. For task analyses, ABC, a method of accounting that addresses indirect cost allocation, was used. The ABC method calculates cost per activity unit by classifying tasks into smaller activity units.18) By subdividing the task process into activity units, ABC enables the calculation of labor costs required for data importation. While ABM uses ABC as an analysis tool for task improvement,21) the main characteristic of ABC is that it separates final results into value–added activities (those that add value), and non–value–added activities (those that do not add value). The resulting information allows for re–examination of the overall task process by determining whether or not each activity is adding value to the product. A previous study in the field of radiation19–20) that used ABC showed most of the tasks related to storing brought–in Get more content on HelpWriting.net

When he finally checked on the availability of the space, he realized that it had been reserved the whole month of June. Carl now needs to find a new space to hold the new hire orientation. Again, Carl's, poor planning has set him back. Did not inspect materials ahead of time When Carl hired the new hires, he failed to inspect the required manuals and booklets that were needed for orientation. Carl had from the time he was hired at the earliest to April 15 at the latest to inspect the information. Possible Solutions Poor Carl will benefit greatly from the OATS method. OATS stands for objectives, activities, time estimates and schedules. An objective is the first step in planning better time management. Once you have an objective then choose an activity to do in order to achieve the objective. Once Carl knows what he needs to do to achieve his objective he needs to set a time frame and schedule. Sometimes the objective may have to be done in steps or have different time frames. An example for Carl's situation: Drug screens should be done first. Just in case a new hire doesn't pass. Start the new hire paperwork and physicals. The latter two to be completed by X date. Carl was very frustrated with his situation. He failed to realize until it was too late that due to his procrastination, he will not get the needed tasks done on time. He needs to utilize time Get more content on HelpWriting.net
