• It is a desirable device
• It allows for differentiation of instruction
• Student generated texts
SAMR Model
• The progression from Writing 1.0 to 2.0
• Stepping from "substitution" to "augmentation" allowing
the technology to provide "functional improvement."
• Goal should not be to apply the paper or digital
processes
• Consider how to leverage the capabilities of the device
to "modify" and "redefine" what's possible
