1. Whole30 Meal Analysis
I'm entering my second week of Whole30 and I plan to share a week 1 recap along with some tips
soon, but I wanted to show two meals I made "on the fly." Whole30 requires lots of meal prep, but
I'm quickly learning you sometimes just don't want to eat something you prepped and you get the
itch to try something different. That's what these recipes are.
Here are two meals that were put together last minute that fit the Whole30 bill!
#1 Homemade Burgers
I got ground meat and added a bunch of random spices, red pepper and cilantro (both cut thin) along
with an egg. I put the patties together and cooked on both sides in a pan for about 5 minutes. Instead
of a bun, I plated the burger on top of spinach. I added Whole Foods guacamole (life changing stuff)
on top along with homemade Chipotle sauce. I finished the toppings off with a egg. You could add
sugar free bacon as well! ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
A bunch of Trader Joe's sausage is Whole30 complaint...but we also love Aidelles! I cooked the in
olive oil then topped on the butternut squash. Trader Joe's also carried complaint marinara sauce and
I added italian season, pepper and oregano to it before throwing it on top of the zoodle/sausage
mixture. Since we also have fresh herbs on hand, I cut some up to top.
I know the thought of cooking every meal can seem daunting during Whole30, but sometimes you
just have to open your fridge, see what ingredients you have and

3. Anorexia Nervos An Under Nutrition Eating Disorder
Anorexia Nervosa is a mental illness and is referred to as an under–nutrition eating disorder that is
often mistaken for a "lifestyle choice". It is when the person with the illness sees themselves as
overweight and wishes to lose a few kilos. So said person begins to diet and exercise and they notice
they're losing the weight. Said person then reaches said goal weight but is still not happy with the
way they look so they decide to keep dieting. People with the illness often say they can hear a voice
in their head (often referred to it as 'Ana' for anorexia and 'Mia' for bulimia) telling them that they
don't look good enough and they need to lose more weight. Eventually, said person has lost so much
weight that you can see their bones and their knees don't touch, but no, that's not good enough for
'Ana' so they continue to diet and exercise religiously until eventually, their body can not handle the
stress and it shuts down. Anorexia affects both males and females in all age groups, although it is
most commonly found in teenagers, and is the third most common long–term illness for teenagers.
Men make up 10–15% of the surfers, and woman make up the rest. Anorexia is a mental disease
which affects the way you eat all foods, so unlike celiac, or diabetes, there is no list which tells
which specific foods they need to avoid, because, although this isn't true, suffers believe they need
to avoid all foods in order to become skinny. Some of the more obvious symptoms in

she knows my sisters and I love to devour them. She says that It gives her "a sense of love that can
only be seen on your (grandchildren's) faces. The recipe is a family favorite that is passed down
from mother to mother, generation to generation, going back at least five generations. Cooking in
Mediterranean culture is known as a form of cooking with love as food is used as a way of evoking
personal a collective memory. Grandma says she learned from her mother, as her mother did, and
each added variation to perfect their recipe, with the key ingredient being a dash of love. Coming
from a family who is a mixture of many cultures is interesting as this allows me to have many
customs unique to just our household. My mother's side stems from Greece and she comes from a
Greek inspired household. Lamb is a very common dish in many Eastern European cultures, yet in
Greece it is taken to a new level, having most of their more exquisite dishes involve some form of

Moving away from home has been one of the biggest challenges that I have had to face so far in the

For the next few days, I was alone in my room until my roommate, Emily, one of my closest friends

37. A Short Note On The And Its Effects On Mexican Oregano
Two of the most outstanding secondary metabolites in Mexican oregano are the isomers carvacrol
and thymol (FIG.3) (76). Since the two are isomers, it is no surprise that both compounds have
similar properties such as: anti–inflammatory, anti–oxidant, and anti–fungal (76). Carvacrol is a
thick, either colorless or yellow liquid (77). Its IUPAC name is 2–methyl–5–propan–2–ylphenol and
the molecular weight is 150.2 g/mol (77).
Thymol is a large colorless crystal (78). Its IUPAC name is 5–methyl–2–propan–2–ylphenol and

Another experiment was performed in Turkey to understand carvacrol's possible shielding function
in Type 1 diabetes (83). The researchers' performed an in vivo experiment utilizing rats induced with
Type 1 diabetes by streptozotocin to examine the defending role of carvacrol. The carvacrol used in
this study was obtained from essential oil of Origanum onites L., steam distilled and isolated using
the fractional distillation method. The researchers found a reduction in serum glucose level, serum
total cholesterol, and other enzymes in carvacrol–treated rats in comparison to the control rats. The
authors of the study concluded that orogastric addition of carvacrol to the diet of diabetic rats may
have a moderate defensive role on enzymes found in the liver (83).
Thymol, another compound found in Mexican oregano, is being researched (especially using thyme
essential oil; note that thymol is a compound found in numerous plant species). In a study conducted
with male albino rats, the researchers investigated the effect of raw thyme oil (along with other raw
oils such as fenugreek, sesame, cod liver, and hazelnut) on serum glucose level and liver and kidney
function (84). The researchers found that thyme, fenugreek, organic olive, and cod liver oils
effectively prevented the side effects of diabetes on liver function. On the other hand, thyme oil,

41. Descriptive Essay On Pizza
Half spinach. Half anchovies. Sitting on the countertops of Dominos at my dad's work, I pondered
how many combinations of halves people could make with pizzas. Lining the walls, there were
containers filled with an array of different toppings ranging from pineapples to pepperonis. While
my dad kneaded the dough, I listened to him tell me that "pizza can be made it however you want,"
which incentivized me think of all the possible combinations of pizza– mushrooms and sausage, bell
peppers and onions, or maybe even jalapenos and ham. Back then, I use to think my dad had the best
job in the world, until at school, I was handed free cardboard pizza lunch while other kids' parents
packed them homemade, hot lunches in thermoses. As my eyes darted between my lunch and my
friends', I compared their packed juice boxes and sliced fruit to my flimsy tray and pizza. I was
jealous and wanted to be like them. During those moments, I could not help but feel like my life
paralleled that soggy pizza on the top of my tray. I since longed for the pizzas I made with my dad.
While some of my peers were handed a recipe for life, I was left blindsided not knowing how to
create my personal pizza. I wanted to try new combinations, but I realized people were more
inclined to order simple pies. As a result, I became less adventurous and subdued to societal norms
of pizza. I ordered pepperoni and cheese pizzas at parties to please the majority that attended. I

57. Essay on Acceptance Speech commentary
The poem Acceptance Speech by Lynn Powell is about a housewife who feels undervalued by her
family and by society. The title of the poem suggests that the character has received an award for
achieving something brilliant, but in fact she is being sarcastic and conducting an imaginary award
ceremony for herself in her kitchen, since no one else is willing to appreciate her hard work. The
poet uses irony and personification of kitchen utensils and ingredients to add humour to the play.
She uses the In this poem, the character deals with her desire to be appreciated by propelling herself

In contrast to her children, who simply "growl" at her when they are hungry, the ingredients in the
kitchen actually assist her in making the "soup." The "salt" is particularly important, as we only
notice it when it is absent from food rather than when it is present. When it is not in the food, its
omission is strongly reflected in the taste of the food. Hence, it is taken for granted. Similarly, this
housewife is criminally underappreciated and if she was not around, her family would instantly feel
her absence from the household. She also compares herself to "the celery and the parsnip", who are
regularly "forgotten" and seen as "bit players." The housewife knows "exactly" this feeling, as she is
similarly overlooked and seen as playing a more minor role in the household than the man, who is
traditionally the breadwinner. Overall, although the poem is essentially a parody and uses plenty of
humour, there is an overbearing feeling of underappreciation, loneliness and frustration towards her
family on the part of the speaker. While at the beginning of the poem the speaker's tone is mocking
towards her family for having many expectations of her yet taking her for granted, at the end of the
poem there is a sense of isolation, as the only "applause" she gets is the "blue" flame of the stove.
The structure is key to adding humour to this poem. For example, after the words "starring role" at
the end of the second stanza, the reader expects something

These days, the American palate has broadened somewhat and the flavors of meatloaf have become

profile than how well it is seasoned. Texture and moisture both play a major role in the final results,

It provides the background note against which all of the other flavors in meatloaf get displayed. Its
umami notes will help to bring out the savory qualities of the dish and its tartness complements the
sweetness of other ingredients like ketchup. It also helps to add moisture to the meatloaf thus
fighting against the main enemy of good meatloaf: dryness. Mustard While you can certainly use
English mustard or some other form of dry mustard, the preferred addition for American meatloaf is
prepared mustard, which adds tanginess both from its vinegar as well as that which you expect from
the mustard spice itself. What's more, prepared mustard will add moisture. Ketchup Like
Worcestershire sauce, ketchup is a classic meatloaf seasoning. It can be added to the meatloaf mix or
used as a glaze for the meatloaf's exterior. Some recipes may have it added to both. In either case, it
brings moisture and a complementary sweetness to the dish that offsets the savory qualities of the
other ingredients. When used as a glaze, it will enhance the appearance of your meatloaf by giving it
an appetizing dark red sheen. In lieu of ketchup, some recipes will require a barbecue sauce that has
a ketchup base. Barbecue sauce can have all of the above ingredients along with liquid smoke and
molasses. The smoky, deeper notes of barbecue sauce work well in a meatloaf and can help it to

The staples of Mexican cuisine are typically corn and beans. Corn, traditionally Mexico's staple
grain, is eaten fresh, on the cob, and as a component of a number of dishes. Most corn, however, is
used to make masa, a dough for tamales, tortillas, gorditas, and many other corn–based foods.
Squash and peppers also play important roles in Mexican cuisine.
The most important and frequently used herbs and spices in Mexican cuisine are chilli powder,

CHAPTER I
INTRODUCTION
All proposed researches require gathering information about a certain topic. In this chapter you will
read about what our topic is all about and the reasons why we had come up with this research
proposal. 1.1 Background of the Study For centuries up until the present day, plants have given us so
many things to our society. They can be used as food to give energy or to give cure for some
illnesses. It has so many uses which is important for our daily living. The Origanum vulgare, also
known for its common name Oregano (sometimes ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
We don't need to import from other countries because the oregano plant is very much accessible to
us Filipinos. Those who will benefit from our research can use the product in their own homes
especially in areas wherein bacteria can accumulate. Another is that the next generation of students
can learn something from our research. They may get ideas from it and help them in their own study
for the problems that we are experiencing right now may not be the same in the future. 1.4 Scope
and Limitations
The goal of our research study is to come up with an oregano disinfectant spray. The use of this
disinfectant spray is to rural households which live in Metro Manila. It will be done with a few
experiments to test its effectiveness. The sources that we will be getting are from the Philippines.
We will use our own products to give it a more natural and organic spray. We will focus with the use
of this sprayer to other citizens living near bodies of water. This study will cover the viral bacteria,
including germs affecting the community. We base our study with the help of other international–
related topics, including the importance of the disinfectant spray. But this will only help us to know
82. how to deal and experiment with our study. The limits and the occurrence of this study will only be
