MISSION
THE VOID™ is on a mission to transport everyone, everywhere on virtual
adventures that until now could only be dreamed about. By creating
destinations that inspire the exploration of fully immersive virtual
worlds and dimensions with friends and family, THE VOID creates
memorable experiences that are meant to be shared.
OVERVIEW
In the Fall of 2015, visionaries and entrepreneurs Ken Bretschneider,
Curtis Hickman, and James Jensen founded THE VOID to create truly
immersive experiences that take people to new worlds beyond reality.
In early 2017, Cliff Plumer joined the company as CEO to oversee the
global expansion of VOID Experience Centers™(VECs).
THE VOID’s first public experience, Ghostbusters: Dimension, is
available at Madame Tussauds New York, NY, The Beach in Dubai, UAE
and at the company headquarters in Lindon, UT. Additional
experiences and VECs will be opening throughout 2017.
WHAT IS THE VOID?
THE VOID is a destination that inspires the exploration of fully
immersive virtual worlds and dimensions with friends and family,
creating memorable experiences together.
THE VOID goes beyond virtual reality as it is currently conceptualized,
using interactive sets along with gear to create immersive experiences
that everyone can enjoy. Each experience at THE VOID is constructed
on a custom physical stage built specifically for each world. THE VOID
uses its proprietary software to layer virtual worlds over the physical
spaces, and participants wear THE VOID’s proprietary and custom
RAPTURE™ gear, including head mounted displays (HMDs),
backtop™computers, and haptic vests to engage the senses while
placing participants directly in the experiences, allowing them to step
beyond reality.

WHAT MAKES THE VOID UNIQUE?
THE VOID is committed to making VR experiences that are truly
immersive, social and as the technologies’ original innovators
envisioned. One key differentiator is THE VOID’s focus on making VR
socially interactive, not isolating. In Ghostbusters: Dimension, for
example, guests engage, communicate and connect as a group, and
are able to easily move about completely untethered—a vast difference
from current in-home VR offerings. THE VOID currently makes the only
projects in the VR space that use a sensory stage environment, which
leverages its revolutionary Infinite Hallway technology, enabling longer,
diverse and more dynamic experiences.
WHO IS THE VOID FOR?
THE VOID is for everyone ages 10+, all genders and backgrounds eager
to journey to new worlds and create new memories together. THE VOID
was created with the social experience in mind, specifically as a
shared, multi-person experience that allows you to create tangible
bonds as you work together with friends, family and groups in social
exploration.
