4. Despite relative resiliency throughout 2022, VC Deal Activity in Pre-
Seed & Seed stage trended downward substantially in Q3 2023

value and deal count
• Several factors:
• Startups intentionally delaying
raising next round
• Shift in investor priorities
• Rounds taking longer to close

• Many Investors have advised:
