FUE Hair Transplant Trends
Examination of the ISHRS (International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery) Census Survey Data from 2004-2010 reveals a steady increase in hair transplant procedures as well as significant trends in harvesting technique. Less invasive hair transplant procedures FUE Follicular Unit Extraction procedures are exponentially and the popularity of strip-harvesting is decreasing, despite the overall increase in numbers of procedures worldwide.
