10.  Prepare a stock solution for 1 Acre by
dissolving 100 gms EM-1 in 10 Lit of
water.Stir the stock solution properly & form
uniform solution
 Fill the knapsack sprayer upto half with clean
water & add 1 lit of stock solution to the
knapsack sprayer.Fill the balance with clean
water till the top
 Use minimum Ten tanks for 1 Acre

 Use right water volume to cover the crop
thoroughly – Minimum 10 tanks per acre

 If we calculate 43560 Sq.ft/acre and plant to plant and row to
row distant 4’X2’, it will give
 5445 plants/acre.
 Even if we take 10 sqares falling per plant and due to demage
by Heliothis only 5 sqares x5445plants=27225sqares being
dropped/acre.
 We count 3gms weight per squre
x27225=81675Gms=81.67Kg.xRs.40/Kg.=Rs.3267 being
lost. We use 100Gms. EM-1 costing Rs.800/-per acre.
 HENCE NET SAVING IS Rs.2467/-
