About
David Nicksay has held a variety of roles during his decades-long career in Hollywood. In 1975, he earned a coveted place in the distinguished Assistant Directors Training Program offered by the Directors Guild of America in Los Angeles. David Nicksay’s instruction consisted of working with every major Hollywood studio and prominent production company across America and abroad. The two-year course of study began on the famous miniseries Rich Man, Poor Man.
After graduating from the program, David Nicksay joined the Directors Guild, beginning as an assistant director and eventually achieving the position of unit production manager.
