This document advertises a webinar about how ferry operators can use Automatic Identification System (AIS) data to increase safety, improve planning and monitoring of operations, and enhance customer satisfaction. The webinar will discuss how AIS data from ferries can be used to track vessel traffic in real-time, integrate with nautical charts and weather overlays, provide vessel information and news, analyze collisions and incidents, plan new routes, send alerts, display real-time arrival/departure information for passengers and websites, and integrate with other transit schedules. Current ferry partners that use these services will also be discussed.
