I. Jail-break iPhone
HelloSpy is an iPhone tracking application run silently in the background.
Therefore you need to jail-break your iPhone first if you want to use HelloSpy.
You cannot download or install HelloSpy until your iPhone is jail-broken. Jail-breaking
process will automatic install Cydia into your iPhone also. There is no cost to jail-breaking
your iPhone and it is completely reversible if the need should ever arise. We
DO NOT PROVIDE SUPPORT for the jail-breaking process. This must be done by the
customer. You can search online for numerous sites with tutorials that can assist you with
this process, such as iClarified, www.jailbreakmatrix.com.
II. Download and Install HelloSpy
1. Download
Attention: Before download HelloSpy, be sure that your iPhone have internet connection
via Wifi or 3G or GPRS.
i. Find icon Cydia in iPhone Springboard, tap to open then tap Manage -> Source

ii. Tap Edit-> Add.
iii. Type iphone.hellospy.com-> Tap button Add source then wait for Cydia download all needed
files -> Tap button Return to Cydia

iv. Back to Source, find HelloSpy then tap to open. Tap Install -> Confirm -> wait for Cydia
complete installation process then tap Restart Springboard to finish.

2. Sign up an online account and Register your iPhone
i. Find icon HelloSpy Target -> tap to open
ii. If you don't have an account on website HelloSpy yet, tap Register to create
account. Insert email address, password you wish. Click Create Account.

iii. If you have an account in website HelloSpy already, tap Login to register device to
your account. Insert email address, password of your account. Click Log in.

Attention:
When you create an account, your device will be registered to this account
automatically. You should use a valid email address to create account because later you will
used this account to view logs result, recover password if you ever forget, receive link
download CSV back up data…. And one thing more, one account can only be used for one
device, it means one email address can only be used for one iPhone.
3. Hide HelloSpy in iPhone Springboard and Cydia
iv. Tap Hide Icon From Springboard button to hide icon HelloSpy.
Icon HelloSpy will be hidden in Springboard but still be showed in Packages of
Cydia. To show icon HelloSpy again, dial #8888*.

v. Tap Hide Package Forever button to hide HelloSpy on iPhone forever.
From now on, HelloSpy will begin to works on your iPhone in steath mode. There is no
sight, no trace of HelloSpy in your iPhone, even in Cydia and no one, include you, can
open HelloSpy interface again. Don‟t worry, you still can adjust setting via website by log
in to your security account.
III. Online Control Panel
1. My Dashboard
Go to website www.hellospy.com. Log in with email and password used to sign up before.

Dashboard content summary information about target device and data logs in your account.
2. View logs
i. GPS log
Select a day in From, To selected box to review GPS position on specific days. You
can click on detail icon in the right of each record or click the red balloon on the map to
view address and Date Time of a specific position.

ii. SMS History
You can review SMS records in Conversation format like in iPhone or in list format.
iii. Contact History
You can click on Detail icon on the right of each record to view Contact details.

You can click on each photo to view in real size.

viii. Auto Answer
To use Auto Answer feature, first you have to activate it in Settings page
by sticking on Auto Answer box. Then set a monitor number in the text box right
below Auto Answer box. This number will be use to make a spy call to target
iPhone (the iPhone which installed HelloSpy). The target iPhone will automatic
receive the call without target iPhone user awareness and you can hear all the sound
and know what happens surrounding the target iPhone. If the target iPhone user
open the iPhone and do any task on it, for example, make a call, the spy call will
automatic disconnect and no trace be left on target iPhone even in Call History.
There‟re two points you must note. First point, after activate Auto Answer feature
on website, you must wait for new setting applied to target iPhone before can use. If
you set „sync data every 30 minutes‟ then wait at least 30 minutes. This is applied to
others setting also.

The second point, to use monitor number to make a normal call to target iPhone you
must deactivate Auto Answer by remove the stick at Auto Answer box in
Settings page on website.
Attention:
When you call from your monitor phone to the HelloSpy target device your call will
be auto-answered and you will be able to listen the device surroundings. Please note
that this feature will work if the device is locked, if the device is in use (unlocked)
your call will be rejected.

3. Configuration
After changing settings parameters on website, you must wait for new setting
applied to target iPhone before can use. If you set „sync data every 30 minutes‟ then
wait at least 30 minutes.
4. Delete data
To remove unneeded records on specific logs, open that log page, stick on the
box in the left of those records you want to remove and click the link “Delete” at the end
of page. The link “Select all” and “Deselect all” will be very useful in case you want to
remove all records.

5. Back up CSV
Click the button “Export data to CSV” to generate all the log files, except for
Photo logs, to CSV format back up file and download to your PC. To back up Photo log,
click on each image and choose “Save as” to download.
6. Change password

7. Change your account email
This new email address will be used to log in to your account so make sure you enter
the email correctly before click Save. After update successful, you will be logout
automatically. Please login again with the new email address to review logs.
8. Uninstall HelloSpy remotely
To remotely uninstall HelloSpy app in target iPhone, insert the password of
your HelloSpy account to confirm and click button “Uninstall HelloSpy remotely”.
Target iPhone will receive removing command and automatic remove HelloSpy app
from target iPhone on the next sync time.

9. Remove account
To remove your HelloSpy account, insert the password of your HelloSpy
account to confirm and click the button “Remove my account”. But take note that
your license days and all the data will be deleted with your account and HelloSpy
app on target iPhone will be removed also.
