ranked as the world's fourth largest two– and three– wheeler manufacturer and the Bajaj brand is
well–known across several countries in Latin America, Africa, Middle East, South and South East

"It is all nonsense (family feud)... the work is divided and the ownership between four brothers and
two sons remains the same," he said.
As per the proposal, Bajaj Group's auto business will be demerged into a new subsidiary Bajaj
Holdings and Investment Ltd (BHIL) and other strategic businesses such as wind energy, insurance
and financial services would be demerged into another new entity Bajaj Finserv Ltd (BFL).
Bajaj Auto shareholders would continue to hold one share of the company with face value of Rs 10
and would also be allotted one BHIL share of Rs 10 face value and one BFL share of Rs 5 face
value. The demerger would be completed this year.
Rebuffing suggestions that the move was to spilt the group, he said: "I will be the chairman of all the
three companies. It is not a split of Bajaj Auto. Out of Rs 8,500 crore cash and cash equivalents, Rs
1,500 cr will go to the new Bajaj Auto and Rs 800 crore will be transferred to BFL. The balance Rs
6,000 crore will remain with the BHIL," Bajaj said.
The transaction will enable the new companies to tap into the cash pool of BHIL to support future
growth, while enabling BHIL to participate in the growth of the auto business and the financial
services business.
Ruling out any change in management structure of the group, Rahul Bajaj said: "There is generally
no change in the management structure."

Family Car Research Paper
I used my family car "Saturn Vue 2008" for this project. In the first part, I learned different parts of
the car and how to use them. The car has automatic transmission. Its gears are located on the center
console between two front seats. You can identify them by a position of the stick and by letters on it,
that show types of gears. When you start the vehicle you can use parking or neutral gears. You
should enter the key into ignition with wide side up. My key was metal with plastic holder. The key
could be different: shorter or longer. There is also parking brake, which located to the right of the
driver's seat. If you don't want your vehicle to move, you should firmly set it, by holding the brake
pedal down, and pull up on the parking brake lever. To release it, press the release button of the
parking brake and push it down. My car has ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Next things I've learned were vehicle controls and devices. The turn signal lever is located on the
instrument panel, behind the wheel on the left side. If the lever is up you turn right. If it is down,
you turn left. The car has power door locks, automatic door lock, and rear door security locks. The
hazard flashers are located in the front and rear turn signal lamps, which you use to warn the police
and others that you have a problem. Inside, when you activate flashers, two green arrows appear on
the instrument panel and start flashing with a clicking sound. Outside, when you activate hazard
flashers, front and rear lights start blinking. The hood release is located under the steering wheel on
the left, and to use it from the inside you should pull the release button. To unlatch the hood on my
car pull the handle with hood release symbol under the instrument panel on the driver's seat. The
light switch is located on the left side from the steering wheel. If you want to put on the high beam
lights, switch exterior lamp

Informative Essay On Drag Racing Cars
The drivers and their teams do not just sit there and see who has the faster car and who will make it
to the finish line first. There is a lot of preparation, skill and strategies that are behind the process.
The team must prepare for a race regardless of the length by getting the engines running to the RPM
and efficiency needed to make sure the car is at maximum performance. They can not have errors
when it comes to race time because one mistake could cost them their car or pride. The types of tires
and functionality of clothing play a huge role in how a driver will perform in a race which inflicts
how films and music are perceived when it comes to racing cars. Tires come in different sizes and
functions. Some are better suited for everyday ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Music that involves car–racing is usually loud or has some time of motivational type. Films involves
loud car noises and screeching of the tires. Some one is always intense in both music and films of
racing cars. In Mark Braboys' article it says that the films music has been "consisting of
predominantly hip–hop, R&B, and heavy metal to incorporating reggaeton, EDM, and pop music as
the series grew with the times" (Braboy, "14 Greatest Soundtrack Songs From the 'Fast & Furious'
Franchise"). All the music in these films have been able to pump someone up to watch car–racing
because it makes it more intense and more excited to the audience. The films go along with the
music and make it more exciting to watch. There are many car–racing films, but whomever the
audience is determines what he/she thinks when car–racing comes to mind. Like Mike Guy says in
his article, "The fact of the matter is, to a car guy, choosing a list of the ten best car movies of all
time is sort of like a food fanatic trying to rank their favorite all–time meals" (Guy, "Top 10 Car
Movies of All Time"). Some people might think The Fast and the Furious series when they hear car–
racing, and some may think Death Race, Cars, or Telladaga Nights. It all depends on who is
listening and who the person is that determines the film. When the audience determines the film or
music that

It might not always be practical to deal with all customers' queries within the space of a few hours,
but at least email or call them back and let them know you've received their message and you'll
contact them about it as soon as possible. Even if you're not able to solve a problem right away, let
the customer know you're working on it. 3. Be Friendly and Approachable A fellow Site Pointer
once told me that you can hear a smile through the phone. This is very true. It's very important to be
friendly, courteous and to make your clients feel like you're their friend and you're there to help
them out. There will be times when you want to beat your clients over the head repeatedly with a
blunt object – it happens to all of us. It's vital that you keep a clear head, respond to your clients'
wishes as best you can, and at all times remain polite and courteous. 4. Have a Clearly–Defined
Customer Service Policy This may not be too important when you're just starting out, but a clearly
defined customer service policy is going to save you a lot of time and effort in the long run. If a
customer has a problem, what should they do? If the first option doesn't work, then what? Should
they contact different people for billing and technical enquiries? If they're not satisfied with any
aspect of your customer service, who should they tell? There's nothing more annoying for a client
than being passed from person to person, or not

Argument Analysis: Round The Track
The argument on whether or not racing is a sport or race car drivers are athletes has existed as long
as racing has been around. It has been a debate that has stirred up great controversy and has divided
up the fan base of all sports on this subject matter. Many people on the subject matter will pick a
side but usually will not have any evidence or reasonable explanations as to why they chose that
position. In "Round the Track: it might look simple, but racing takes athletic skill", Bob Pockrass
provides the reader with evidence from a "Sport Sciences" story for ESPN what a Nascar Sprint Cup
driver's body endure through out a race. In the second article "Drivers may not be athletes, but what

monitoring devices to Denny Hamlin's Sprint Cup car to monitor Denny's vitals as well as the
temperature and g–forces that are exerted on the drivers body. This article supports it's claim with
Logos by stating and presenting the reader with the facts and evidence received in the 2012 Coca–
Cola 600 race. Barr stated that throughout the 4–hour race, "Hamlin's core body temperature
reached 101 degrees which is 1 degree lower than hyperthermia" (Barr). Additionally, this article
supports its claim with Ethos by showing that many other Sprint Cup drivers exercise their bodies to
cope with the harsh conditions that they endure throughout a race. Barr continues by stating "many
drivers have some kind of workout regime that they stick to help them stay in shape to last three to
four hours in their car" (Barr). Furthermore, this article supports it's claim with Pathos by providing
the reader with senses to give them a feeling of what it is like inside the care and what the driver's
bodies go through. Barr states that during the 600–mile race, Hamlin's neck receives a force

Art Of Racing In The Rain Analysis
In Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein, Enzo's epiphany was that being selfish is the way for a
racer to win was proven wrong. In this scene, Enzo is listening to his owner, Denny, having a
conversation with his wife Eve about the racing competition that he finished. Denny however,
wasn't able to finish the race due to a minor accident. Enzo heard something that Denny said that
reminded him of a lesson for racing. "If it was anybody's fault Denny said "it was mine for being
where I could get collected." This is something I'd heard him say before: getting angry at another for
a driving incident pointless. You need to watch drivers around you understand their skill confidence
and aggression levels, and drive with them accordingly. (Stein 91) This evidence shows how Enzo
remembered on what Denny said about driving. This is a very important skill to remember when
your racing. It tells you that you can't be selfish when racing. In a way you have to look out for
others people before yourself in order to win the race. Enzo uses this to realize that you can be
selfish driving because when you do you become too distracted and will end up losing. When Enzo
said it was pointless, it gave the definition of this word its actual meaning. It was pointless for
Denny to get angry because it can cause the lost of the race. It could also mean it is pointless to be
selfish and unaware of your surroundings.
Another piece of evidence is when Enzo narrates and gives information about how race

Informative Essay On Stock Car Racing And NASCAR
You're driving down the straight stretch at 200 mph, slowing down for one of the three left hand
turns; you're surrounded by other cars all doing the same things, all trying to achieve the same goal:
to be the first racer to cross the checkered line. The sport, is called NASCAR, it attracts hundreds of
thousands of people to watch each and every race. NASCAR was started by back country
bootleggers in Georgia; in late 1947, a meeting was held to discuss the future of stock car racing,
and NASCAR was conceived. It takes extreme skill to race in the NASCAR world; it is a crazy fast
paced sport that has an incredible, humble beginning.

NASCAR driver, you should probably be physically fit and have plenty of endurance. 800 reps of
40 pounds does not sound fun at all, especially with your neck. A driver can get fit by spending
hours in the weight room, or they can do it by spending hours and hours behind the wheel of their
race car going 200 mph around the track. Tony Stewart chooses to do it by spending hours on the

A Fast Woman in a Man's World
The go–fast girl from south central Asia, Alisha Abdullah, is officially the first and only female
professional motorcycle racer in India. It is extraordinarily difficult for women to achieve success in
any career in male–dominated India, one of the most female–oppressive countries in the world.
Additionally, Ms. Abdullah faces consternation among Muslim men, who base their mistreatment of
females on their religious beliefs. When asked how she feels about the uphill struggle she endures,
Alisha said, "It's all in your mind! Nothing is impossible! I got put down, mocked, and what not, but

In 2010, a stateof–the–art production facility was set up at Chakan near Pune with an investment of
Rs. 35 billion to manufacture Polo and Vento indigenously. The plant also manufactured Skoda

platforms, the three brands were distinctly positioned.
Skoda was positioned as less premium than VW which was positioned as more premium than even

for positioning of various players). While the group integrated the back–end of technology, human

Despite its careful planning, there existed an anomaly. Skoda was perceived to be a more up–market

Two major results of policy changes during these years in two–wheeler industry were that the,
weaker players died out giving way to the new entrants and superior products and a sizeable
increase in number of brands entered the market that compelled the firms to compete on the basis of
product attributes. Finally, the two–¬wheeler industry in the country has been able to witness a
proliferation of brands with introduction of new technology as well as increase in number of players.
Initially the industry primarily had Enfield Bikes (350cc) and Escort (175cc), and after the 1980s,
when the market was opened up, the competition started flowing in with Hero Honda( a JV), TVS,
Suzuki. The companies initially started off with assembling the completely knocked down units that
were imported from other countries and then gradually started domestic production in India.
Majority of Indians, especially the youth prefer 2–wheelers rather than cars as they help in easy and

Automotive Technician Needing Computer Based Training
Like nearly every other professional today, automotive technicians need to be comfortable with
computer–based equipment. Cars are more computerized than ever before. It takes more than just
mechanical know–how and the turning of a wrench to become a certified automotive technician.
Experienced technicians can work anywhere in the country along with the right mindset and
attitude. Irrefutably the more educated you are, the better your opportunities are to find employment.
You will also learn that most of what you need to know will be from doing hands on work, like
working in the shop, or watching others do it hands on. As with everything, it starts with a high
school diploma. If you do not have at least a ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
As with any other job, this one changes with time and technology. Some people can get jobs 2 days
after receiving their diploma; some take longer to find one. If you cannot find a job, try going back
to the college you attended to see if they have any leads, some people have also said that they do not
help but it definitely does not hurt to try. (Satterfield) This field takes a special person. Every driver
has been through it at least one time in their life; the engine that will not crank start, the check
engine light that keeps flashing at you every time you start your car, there is the dead battery, brakes
that just don't apply or they make a high pitched squeal. These are unavoidable moments for anyone
that owns a machine that house and engine. Technicians deal with these instants every day, and this
is what makes them extraordinary. Although technicians do not go to school for their English or
their ability to speak and interact with customers, they need to be very good at both. Everyday
technicians will speak with customers, so the techs need to come across as professional and smart.
Techs also need to know how to comfort the customers to make them feel like they and their vehicle
are in good hands. (Automotive Service Technicians and Mechanics) Technicians also need to have
faith in their tools and know that they will perform at their full potential. If one is not, then the

When Jones was seven years old, his father sent him to live and be educated at the local Catholic
church. The elder Jones hoped that his son could receive a good education and find opportunities. At
this time, there were no nearby orphanages that would admit an African American boy. Father Ryan,
a Catholic priest, cared for Jones and encouraged his interest in mechanics. Jones helped around the
church and rectory with cleaning, cooking, maintenance, and grounds work. Father Ryan informed
Jones, at the age of nine, that his father had died.
Jones exhibited an early passion for the mechanics of the automobile. He had an intuitive feeling

Bajaj vs Lml
BAJAJ VS LML
A Comparative Analysis
In today's world the two wheeler segment is a very competitive industry and there is a very stiff
competition among the various companies. There have been many two wheeler companies in India
present in the market since a long time, some have been able to transform itself and cope with the
modern market and some have faded away into the past. Companies like Hero Honda, Bajaj and
TVS have transformed themselves into major giants, while companies like LML and Rajdoot have
failed miserably and collapsed and had to shutdown. So in our case study we are taking into

With a larger selection of two–wheelers on the Indian market, consumers started to gain influence
over the products they bought and raised higher customer expectations. The industry produced more
models, styling options, prices, and different fuel efficiencies. The foreign companies new
technologies helped make the products more reliable and with better quality. Indian companies had
to change to keep up with their global counterparts.
Motorbikes are a major segment of Indian two wheeler industry, the other two being scooters and
mopeds. Indian companies are among the largest two–wheeler manufacturers in the world.
In the initial stages, the scooter segment was dominated by API; it was later overtaken by Bajaj Auto
and LML. Although various government and private enterprises entered the fray for scooters, the
only new player that has lasted till today is Bajaj.
The motorcycle segment was initially dominated by Enfield 350cc bikes and Escorts 175cc bike.
The two–wheeler market was opened to foreign competition in the mid–80s. And the then market
leaders – Escorts and Enfield – were caught unaware by the onslaught of the 100cc bikes of the four
Indo–Japanese joint ventures, namely; Hero Honda, TVS Suzuki, Bajaj Kawasaki and Kinetic Motor
Company (Kinetic Honda). With the availability of fuel efficient low power bikes, demand swelled,

BAJAJ CASE STUDY
1. What challenges confronted BAL and which were of its own making?
In 1980s, the government's impact was the most challenging factor confronting BAL. It witnessed
an increase in both foreign and domestic competitors because of the Indian government's permission
of foreign technology and local manufacturing capacity expansion. Accordingly, Japanese products
were more preferred than domestic brands due to its durability and eye–catching design. Apart from
Yamaha, Suzuki, and Piaggio, Honda who took out the major market share of BAL scooter and
motorcycle segments was its fiercest rival.
Since 1990, due to the economic downturn, two–wheelers vehicles were no longer the first

They had found that this target market predominantly valued the purchasing – maintenance cost and
the low fuel consumption. BAL also penetrated secondary market to buy BAL's used vehicles with
higher price.
In order to match consumers' want, BAL reorganized its structure to obtain better cross–functional
cooperation among Marketing, R&D and Production departments. New products were introduced
periodically and spare parts were sold nation–wide with low cost, which reinforced BAL's
competitiveness. Beside strengthening cost advantage, they established a technology acquisition
agreement with Orbital, which provided solutions to improve fuel efficiency and decrease emission
levels.
In order to enhance the competency in distribution, BAL connected with private transport
companies and trained dealers' staff to improve their technical capability. BAL also supported their
dealers in planning sales targets for specific products, services and advertising. Regarding
developing dealer network, regional depots were built up to quicken inventory turnover and supply a
full range of two and three wheelers, hence encouraging dealer loyalty.
In addition, BAL provided customers with consumer finance to purchase vehicles by establishing
the Bajaj Auto Finance Ltd. Finally, BAL executives invested more in Marketing Department to
secure brand awareness and preference as well as to introduce new vehicles. BAL not only

Racecar Drivers Vs Car Driving
"Driving in circles" is often one of the first things that comes to mind when someone hears the word
racecar driver. However, "driving in circles" is nowhere near a complete explanation of what a
racecar driver can do. Most people know racecar drivers drive with the purpose of going fast. Their
goal when driving a racecar is to get from point A to point B as fast as possible. They drive endless
loops of a racing circuit to improve previous lap times by milliseconds, just to say they were the
fastest. This is something that few understand, and racecar drivers have difficulty explaining why
this is their passion to others. It's almost as if they are looking into a different boxcar than others.
Sometimes when people think of a racecar driver, they think, "Can't anyone drive a car?" or "Oh
driving in circles like NASCAR? That must be easy." These answers couldn't be farther from the
reality, and it's astonishing how unknown the world of auto racing is to many people. Racing is not
just driving per se. Racing is the art of driving fast with a bunch of other like–minded idiots, who all
risk their lives with the, widely misunderstood, willingness to endanger their life just to say they
beat the other guy. Racing and racecar drivers are entirely different from driving on the street in a
countless number of ways.
Throughout this paper a street driver will refer to someone who is not a racecar driver, and a racecar
driver will refer to someone who races cars.

Informative Essay On Nascar
He started from the bottom and now he is on top with the big dogs, Nascar is not just about left

tires, get more fuel and tell the pit crew to adjust the wedge. Nascar requires years and years of
training, You also have to have sponsors to get a race car. In this paper you will find out what nascar

Needless to say Nascar is made and brought up around moonshine. The first race in nascar history
was at Darlington the first asphalt super speedway, But the first sanctioned race was at Daytona
Beach in 1948 and that race was won by Red Byron in a Ford modified. A big shock to the sport was
the first African American driver and his name was Wendell Scott, he was the first African American
to win in nascar. In 1979 Richard Petty would win 7 championships in a row marking a battle
between Richard petty and Dale Earnhardt. By 2004 the first chase for the Nascar Nextel cup would
take place and be won by Kurt Bush. Jimmie Johnson would tie Cale Yarbrough record for Sprint
Cup championships in 2008, in 2009 Jimmie Johnson would break that record and be announced as
male athlete of the year. Most Nascar enthusiast say the sport died when Dale Earnhardt sr died,
because Nascar would make the sport more safe so nothing like Dale's' crash could happen again,
Nascar would set rules around "bumping and rubbing" to keep from drivers crashing and possibly
passing away. Nascar ended up making the cars some of the safest cars on the planet, with all of the
safety attachments they have on the cars

Research Paper On Powerboat Racing
I have a keen interest in all motorsports; I play a lot of motorsport games on PlayStation. I don't get
much time to follow the motorsport statistics and how the real world is doing in the motorsport but I
play a lot of games for example, NASCAR Sprint Cup, Formula One, Moto GP, Need for Speed and
Forza Motorsport. When I visited the drag racing event in Terre Haute, I become more interested in
Drag racing. In some point in my life after finishing up college and having a stable career, I like to
get more involved in F1 powerboat racing in Florida. It is more fun and water motorsport is
something really of my interest.
In general, I like to be involved in all kinds of water sports. Formula one Powerboat racing is my
favorite and the most interesting part which fascinates me about it is the speed on the water. It is the
fast race on the water in the world. According the Formula One H2o website, it states that
Powerboats runs faster than even the formula one race cars and the F1 boats are capable of going
from 0 to 160 kilometers per hour in only 4 seconds (F1H2o). It is great as this is independent from
anyone else, the F1 speed boats contend at these velocities without the utilization of brakes or
riggings. It is focused, captivating, testing, brave, daring and fascinating.

Capital City Of Maharashtra
Abstract:
Mumbai, the capital city of Maharashtra, experienced unprecedented floods on 26th and 27th July
2005 bringing the entire city to standstill for two days. In span of 24 hours the Santa Cruz
observatory at Mumbai airport recorded 944 mm of rain, which is highest recorded data for city in a
day. The flood caused direct economic damages of about $2 billion and over 500 fatalities. The
flood also caused several infrastructural damages, over 2,000 buildings were completely destroyed
and 50,000 were partially damaged, around 40,000 auto rickshaws and taxis were spoiled, several
thousand trucks and 850 BEST buses were damaged and local train and railway network of the city
was also affected. The main cause behind such a huge loss was over population and rapid
urbanization. Mumbai, along with its neighbouring suburbs is the world's sixth most populated
metropolitan area with the population of around 19 million (MMRDA, 2003). The average
population density is 27,209 persons per km2 .Due to the lack of availability of safe land the
economically backward people live in slums which are low lying and flood prone. Thus the
maximum loss due to the flood was barred by the people living in these low lying slums. The
purpose of this research is to calculate the economic loss to the self employed people and the people
with micro enterprise living in these slums.

Racecars Movies Are Just Not About Racing
Pixar created a virtual world of toys by creating Toy Story and later created a virtual world of cars

of the main characters or should I say cars that make this an enjoyable movie people both alike and
different would watch countless times. The story line is Lightening McQueen's journey along the
way of winning a Piston Cup. Although all of these movie posters of Pixar's animated movie Cars

The road the cars are positioned on is a road that goes through the famous town known as Radiator
Springs. A Grand Canyon like, rustic, red rock desert scenery complete with an almost sun setting
sky finishes off the background.
This particular movie poster will appear interesting to not only racecar fanatics but also adventurous
spirited people, because of the desert like scenery in the back, because clearly a racecar does not
belong in that type of landscape. It also appears appealing to the ones who desire mystery, the ones
who must find out why a famous racecar is hanging out with cars from a run down desert town.
Those movie watchers that seek a movie with a sense of community and friendship involved will be
intrigued by this particular cover because of all the other cars in the back.
Just like the previous movie poster Lightening McQueen is in the same position, in the very center
smiling. He once again is the center of attention or star of the show with the other cars behind him
with slightly lighter paint jobs. The red coloring contrasts nicely once again with the ever–present
famous Cars movie logo. Instead of this background being the town of Radiator Springs this
particular poster is posited at a racetrack. The sky is once again just before sunset with a faint yellow
beginning just above the top of the stands with that turns into a bluish purple with a pink in between.

manifest Mistry's glorification of his birth place India. Therefore, Mistry offers narrative structure
that leads the reader to an agenda regarding Indian Nationalism. This is not to indicate that the
speaker has some malevolent agenda to force Indian nationalism upon the reader. Rather, he shares
experiences of his journey to divulge the subdued whisper of the essay in a manner that even he is
not fully aware of. He produces regular imagery such that reader can visualise all the events and get
attracted towards the speaker. Hence, the power of rhetorical analysis lies in the text is shown as an
evidence of an analytical assert and tried to aim throughout this analysis. Mistry opens his essay
with a description of the spiritual leader Dalai Lama and how he found political refuge in India and

Automatic my long lost Career
1.Ever since I was a boy I loved working on vehicles we seem to get each other. I would spend
hours on end just trying to find out how they worked what made them so cool and interesting. Some
years later I am looking into my future, so I thought back to the simpler days when I was a boy with
no responsibility and vehicles. My dad called me crazy he said I couldn't do it but I still loved
working on vehicles no matter what he said so I decided to become a Automatic.
2.The responsibilities of being a Automatic can big like rebuilding a transmission or small like
changing the oil in the vehicle but all are important to keep the car on the road. Automatic can work

working on cars because what you do to that car could mean life or death for that the customer. The
second is the stress of being a automotive service technician hoping the engine works after
rebuilding it or a transmission works properly or new wiring don't catch fire and burn down the
shop. The third is if you're self–employed or working on commission, you're going to constantly be
working just to hang on. If you're good at what you do and have customers, you should be fine

The 1950's And The National Hot Rod Association (NHRA)
Racing has been around for many years. People are addicted to the speed and the configuration of
racing. Racing has proven to be a great way to get people together and race cars or according to the
video even horses. Racing has come extremely far, as it used to be illegal to do and now people are
making a living off of it. According to the video, the year of 1949 was the first organized drag race
ever. The racing environment was extremely different then than now. Back then, there were no entry
fees or safety precautions taken. Now there are huge entry fees and may requirements that must be
met for the race car and driver to ensure safety. Racing exploded in the 1950's and the National Hot
Rod Association (NHRA) was created to ensure that there ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

This would ensure that the racing was protected, and it is still around today. The NHRA helped gain
respect for drag racing. I think that the NHRA was a great start for racing. It helped organize races
and make it more respectable to people who may not understand the love and passion some have for
racing. The NHRA used their "safety safari" to go all over the country to hot rod races, teaching
them everything from selling tickets to the safety of racing the hot rods. I think that this really
helped racing take off. These people have now learned how to make the sport safer and gain money
in order to proceed with their passion for racing. This also helped the racers gain sponsors such as
Coca–Cola and Pepsi. Racing relies off of sponsors now. There has been so many technological
advancements in racing, that not the average person can afford to go out and be competitive enough
to win without help. When I think about sponsors for racing, almost every single huge corporation
sponsors some sort of race car. The racers are helping the sponsors get more business, while the
sponsors support the race car driver so they can make it to the track. My family has a deep history in
open wheel dirt track racing, and they would not have been able to compete for so long without the
help of sponsors. Racing had now become some people's way of making a living. They were able to
make enough money to support themselves, but still struggled trying to get to and from each race.
The NHRA toured to England to expand the racing dream to people all over the world. I think this
was a great move by the NHRA because the more people that are interested the more money
involved. This video only proves that racing is advancing and becoming more enjoyed all over the

How To Write A Drag Racing Essay
Drag Racing
Drag racing is a form of racing in which two cars line up at the same place, and race each other
down a straight track. The first one to cross the finish line wins.
Starting
If you want to start drag racing, which I personally think is very hard, you've got to have some
money. Things you'll need are a trailer, some options of different kinds of trailers are an open trailer,
(about $2,500), or an enclosed trailer, (about $5,000), or if you have more than one car that you
want to take, you could get a stacker trailer. A stacker trailer is trailer with a lift that you can drive a
car onto and then lift it up in the air and it will stay there and then you can drive another car in
underneath it. Those usually cost about $20,000.My ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
If you go to a small race track, most of the time you'll know all of the staff, workers, and other
racers. My advice for you is to become involved with helping out at the track. If a worker or staff
member needs help with something, you should help out. Not only will you get a good reputation
there, but you'll be liked more and can even get some benefits such as being able to come into the
track and practice. If another racer needs a part, and you have an extra, why not let them borrow it?
It will once again help your reputation out. Plus, if your car ever breaks and you need a part, they
will most likely pay you back and let you borrow the part you need.
Racing
And now for the fun – Racing. There is more to drag racing then there seems. It's not just smash
your foot to the floor and drive straight. There's way more to it. You have to have your car tuned
right, and make sure that everything is working well on your car, plus you need to be maintaining
your car, and you need to be figuring out your dial in. The dial in is the elapsed time you think your
car will run (usually to the hundredth of the second). If you go faster then your dial in, then you
break out, which means you are disqualified. For example, if you dialed a 4.00 and ran a 3.99 you
would have broken out, and you would be done racing for that class for the day. And then you

There is a lot of preparation, skill and strategies that are behind the process. They can not have errors when it comes to race time because one mistake could cost them their car or pride. It's very important to be friendly, courteous and to make your clients feel like you're their friend and you're there to help them out. • 7. Art Of Racing In The Rain Analysis In Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein, Enzo's epiphany was that being selfish is the way for a racer to win was proven wrong. In this scene, Enzo is listening to his owner, Denny, having a conversation with his wife Eve about the racing competition that he finished. Denny however, wasn't able to finish the race due to a minor accident. Enzo heard something that Denny said that reminded him of a lesson for racing. "If it was anybody's fault Denny said "it was mine for being where I could get collected." This is something I'd heard him say before: getting angry at another for a driving incident pointless. You need to watch drivers around you understand their skill confidence and aggression levels, and drive with them accordingly. (Stein 91) This evidence shows how Enzo remembered on what Denny said about driving. This is a very important skill to remember when your racing. It tells you that you can't be selfish when racing. In a way you have to look out for others people before yourself in order to win the race. Enzo uses this to realize that you can be selfish driving because when you do you become too distracted and will end up losing. When Enzo said it was pointless, it gave the definition of this word its actual meaning. It was pointless for Denny to get angry because it can cause the lost of the race. It could also mean it is pointless to be selfish and unaware of your surroundings. Another piece of evidence is when Enzo narrates and gives information about how race ... It witnessed an increase in both foreign and domestic competitors because of the Indian government's permission of foreign technology and local manufacturing capacity expansion. Accordingly, Japanese products were more preferred than domestic brands due to its durability and eye–catching design. Apart from Yamaha, Suzuki, and Piaggio, Honda who took out the major market share of BAL scooter and motorcycle segments was its fiercest rival. • 26. Racecar Drivers Vs Car Driving "Driving in circles" is often one of the first things that comes to mind when someone hears the word racecar driver. However, "driving in circles" is nowhere near a complete explanation of what a racecar driver can do. Most people know racecar drivers drive with the purpose of going fast. Their goal when driving a racecar is to get from point A to point B as fast as possible. They drive endless loops of a racing circuit to improve previous lap times by milliseconds, just to say they were the fastest. This is something that few understand, and racecar drivers have difficulty explaining why this is their passion to others. It's almost as if they are looking into a different boxcar than others. Sometimes when people think of a racecar driver, they think, "Can't anyone drive a car?" or "Oh driving in circles like NASCAR? That must be easy." These answers couldn't be farther from the reality, and it's astonishing how unknown the world of auto racing is to many people. Racing is not just driving per se. Racing is the art of driving fast with a bunch of other like–minded idiots, who all risk their lives with the, widely misunderstood, willingness to endanger their life just to say they beat the other guy. Racing and racecar drivers are entirely different from driving on the street in a countless number of ways. Throughout this paper a street driver will refer to someone who is not a racecar driver, and a racecar driver will refer to someone who races cars. The first noticeable ...
