FRESH takes a Nordic focus in 2012!
FRESH Nordic comes to
Copenhagen in Denmark on
23-24 May 2012.
Europe’s leading fresh fruit and vegetable
business conference will take place in the
Danish capital Copenhagen at the exclusive
Marriott hotel.
The important Nordic markets enjoy high
levels of disposable income and fresh
produce consumption, making Sweden,
Finland, Norway and Denmark lucrative
markets for suppliers around the world and
the perfect host for FRESH Nordic.
“Scandinavia has lessons for all of us when
it comes to encouraging people to eat more
fresh fruit and vegetables,” says Freshfel
Europe’s Philippe Binard.
Join us in Copenhagen and see for yourself!

5. FRESHProgramme
The European fresh produce business
appears to have plenty going for it: products
which are good for you, modern distribution
systems which deliver those products in a
timely manner, and plenty of investment in
new product development, marketing and
promotions.
But much as the consumption levels and
personal health of European consumers
continue to cause concern for the trade, so
too the commercial health of the sector
remains in doubt following a series of crises
including the recent E coli outbreak, a serious
downturn in market demand and a continuing
imbalance between a fragmented supply base
and powerful, consolidated retail customers.
Taking place in the Nordic region for the
first time, this year’s FRESH will attempt
to formulate a plan of action for the
business in order to encourage greater
levels of demand, a more diversified range
of commercial outlets and more profitable
partnerships with clients.
