With a world where students of increasingly younger ages contend with cyberbullying, Facebook and Instagram, pictures of varying levels of appropriateness… we need to understand that someone is always watching. What we communicate online is visible, has a potential audience.
- The way we consume media and how often we are connected to a screen is constant. - Constant access to information (source validity?)- Constant connection to friends and the online world. (how well do you know your audience?)
- Digital Immigrants = sometimes overwhelmed by the onslaught of technologyDigital Natives = being connected online socially is natural, less person to person connection feels okay
