been manipulated for centuries by mankind. Humans have taken this pure process and used it as a

The plates were counted for formed colonies on the following days: 0,2,7,9 and 14; also the pH was
taken. The pH was taken by removing some of the fermentation liquid and placed on the indicator
strip.
Results:

Family Culture, Ethnicity, and Development The dominant ethnicity of my family is Polish. As
people in Poland, my grandmother on my birth father's side of the family followed several cultural
practices. While spending time with her, I listened to stories of her ethnicity and culture. Antoinette
was her name similar to the Catholic saint Antoinette Roussel. Societies in Poland name their
children after the Catholic saints that originate closer to their child's month of birth. Once the polish
resided in the United States for a while, they named their children the same as the Catholic saints.
However, they did not automatically select a saint's name closest to their child's birth month
(Obidinski & Zand, 1987, p. 100). Similarly, William and Antoinette were my grandmother's
parent's names. After several Catholic saints, my grandmother prearranged my name. Two of my
