Throughout this course, I've definitely seen an entirely different side of myself. I've become aware of my strengths and characteristics that I never
knew I really had. I started to see myself more positively and that I am worth it.

The beautiful thing about poetry is that it can be written in so many forms, about numerous topics and can have its own personalized sound. Billy
Collins brings poetry to life in a simple and fun way that many poets never accomplish. It is obvious in the "Introduction to Poetry," he is emphasizing

EasyCar's approach, built on the easyJet model, was quite different than the approaches used by the traditional rental car companies. EasyCar rented
only a single vehicle type at each location it operated, while most of its competitors rented a wide variety of vehicle types. EasyCar did not work with
agents––over 95% of its bookings were made through the company's website, with the remainder of bookings being made directly through the
company's phone reservation system (at a cost to the customer of 0.95 [euro]/minute for the call). Most rental car companies worked with a variety

internationalisation in the context of harsher economic conditions, using a comparison of its operations in South Korea and the USA to draw out

The novel Reservation Blues by Sherman Alexie depicts Indians within the reservation struggling with their past. These people include Junior and

After Jesus had been crucified and rose on the third day he gathered the disciples and told them, "Therefore go and make disciples of all the

In the book, Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger the main character Holden Caulfield is introduced to the reader first by him attempting an opening to
an introduction of himself, but him being the cynical guy he is doesn't really give the reader that, he opens saying how to reader probably wants to

This revealed that not only was he really wasn't ready to be mature or grow up or to actually handle doing anything adult like, assuming he is doing

along phoebe, his little sister and probably his favorite person. As he watches her on the carousel at the zoo, he is truly happy even tearing up a
little. He is watching pure innocence, the thing he has been striving not to lose. In this moment you notice a change in holden, he goes from a
cynical, and desperate boy who never wanted anything to change to being so happy just to see his sister on a carousel. After she gets off she gives
him back his hat. The hat that he used for protection and in that moment he gets what he has wanted through the whole book, for someone to notice
him and comfort him in a way. Though he was shown need and made efforts to interact with other people he has never gotten anything comforting
back. Phoebe finally gives him this while he watched and is given his hat back. During this time you understand that he almost gets what he has been
wanting the whole book, she has and gives him in a sense, the innocence he feels he is losing rapidly. With phoebe as this necessary moving point he
starts on his way of being heard, without her he wouldn't have even ended up at home and the hospital to write the story as during the zoo she makes
him promise he'll go home making her and even more crucial character. Even though earlier in the book it isn't obvious how important she is to him
you get a glimpse into the fact that he does care about her a lot. Even as soon as he gets out of pencey and to a phone booth he thinks of her and

Wyatt and Billy bring the hiker to a commune that he lives in. Throughout this section, there is a peaceful feeling. The commune was an idea that

After leaving the commune, they get arrested for parading without a permit. This signifies a shift in the environment. No longer are they cruising
through the desert without a care in the world, they are in the deep south which at the time was not exactly a bastion of free love and acceptance.

Will it be easy? Will it be worth it? That are the questions I would like to ask you, brother. Some circumstances came up in your life that made you
to drop out from school. However, education is not limited to age; you can start school any time. I am aware that you have some apprehensions
about joining a school such as that you would not be able to do at this age or with your current work schedule. At the same time, you are aware of the
benefits of going to school. You have to believe in yourself that you can do it. I know it would not be easy, but definitely, it will be worth it.
"You can do it'' is a phrase that you may have heard many times, but most of the time, you only listen to it and do not believe in those words. You just

I would like to share a story with you. During a research experiment, a marine biologist placed a shark into a large holding tank and then released
several small bait fish into the tank. As you would expect, the shark quickly swam around the tank, attacked, and ate the smaller fish. The marine
biologist then inserted a strong piece of clear fiberglass into the tank, creating two separate partitions. She then put the shark on one side of the

High school is commonly referred to as hell by it's residents. The reason why is that the social setting is complex and anything told, whether it

Pendergast, who is in high school. Olive lies to her best friend about losing her virginity and the rumour spreads around the school. Soon after she

Is Hemingway Easy? Through the years, when someone asks me what I do in my free time, I tell them that I like to read. I have read many hard to
comprehend books and stories. Once I started reading "A Very Short Story" by Ernest Hemingway, I found that my reading comprehension of the
text was lacking. Hemingway's work can be entertaining to read, but his use of the Iceberg Principle and point of view can tend to make the material
harder to read. Personal experience has shown me that his work takes longer to read and understand than an average short story. The story, has also

I already mentioned how Hemingway leaves out the reason for the main character being in the hospital. Other details that are sorely missed in the
story are what period this story is placed in, backstories for Luz and the main character, and why Luz left the main character. Also, the jumping
through events sporadically causes more questions than answers by the end of the story. Not only does the lack of details cause confusion, but also,
the way things are worded in the story puzzles the reader's mind. For example, the very last sentence of the story, "A short time after he contracted
gonorrhea from a sales girl in a loop department store while riding in a taxicab through Lincoln Park" (par. 7). This sentence does not include enough
correct punctuation therefore confusing the reader of what is meant. Hemingway's stories can be entertaining, but his tendencies to omit crucial details,
and his choice of wording can cause problems for anyone less than a critical reader. In my opinion, "A Very Short Story" byErnest Hemingway is

This story is told in the first person point of view. The author chose the story to be first person to build a connection with the reader, and to tell
stories from their own perspective, since they are more reliable than being told by someone else. First person also allows the reader to create a
relationship with the protagonist and get to to know the character by the choices he made and the life experiences he had.
Foreshadowing
"I'll just tell you about this madman stuff that happened to me last Christmas just before I got pretty rundown and had to come here and take it easy."
(Holden 3).
This quote on the first chapter of the book indicates that Holden has some anxiety problems and is either in an institution to help calm and deal with
the nerves, since he mentioned he is a nervous guy, or in a hospital, after a mental breakdown. The sentence encourages the reader to want to know
why and how he has to calm down, and what events lead to this major "madman" occurrences.
