6. Creating Class Options – 1 easy option
•Make sure your target number of classes is correct for every course.
•Go to Scheduling > Edit Master Schedule > Summary View
•Check the Classes per Term > Target > make any necessary changes > Update All Course Records
•Create Classes

•Records > open Course (like 01 Homeroom) > Rules – list all the other courses the students must take

•Save time by not entering all of these requests

19. Should a course category be Standard, Transfer, or Mandatory?
•Standard – for almost all courses
•Transfer – for courses taken at another school, where grades need to be recorded
•Mandatory – be very careful – any course listed as Mandatory for the grade level will automatically be added as a request. You say English 9 is required for every 9th grader? If there is even a remote possibility that the course is not required, then do NOT use Mandatory.
•Once a course has been set up as Standard, Transfer, or Mandatory, it cannot be changed without creating a new course.
