Should a course category be Standard, Transfer, or Mandatory? •Standard – for almost all courses •Transfer – for courses taken at another school, where grades need to be recorded •Mandatory – be very careful – any course listed as Mandatory for the grade level will automatically be added as a request. You say English 9 is required for every 9th grader? If there is even a remote possibility that the course is not required, then do NOT use Mandatory. •Once a course has been set up as Standard, Transfer, or Mandatory, it cannot be changed without creating a new course. 19 #bbcon
