The Company plans to obtain LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) rating
for all their forthcoming developments. It is not easy to obtain LEED certification as
developers have to follow a lot of stringent process for the same. But, at Bharti Realty,
obtaining LEED certification is a must.
Hence, Bharti Realty has focused on following elements in resource management:
• Installation of water-efficient equipment
• Provision for responsible on-site water management
• Installation of high-efficiency heating and cooling equipment
• Installation of high-efficiency lights and appliances
• Choosing building materials with low embodied energy
• Use of fly ash in concrete in structural works

Setting up daily, weekly, monthly and annual Energy consumption Targets and involving support staff to achieve this.
Regular monitoring of CO2 Levels and thereby optimizing fresh air fan operations in basements on daily basis
Controlling elevator operations and optimizing usage by segregating lifts into odd & even floors.
Controlling Cooling Tower operation.
Continuous cleaning of Facade and punch windows for un-interrupted sunlight during winters to ensure lesser consumption.
Shutting off unnecessary Computers, Printers and Copiers at night.
Annual walk through audits and conditioned based monitoring audits to improve energy efficiency of the equipment.
Automatic Power Factor Controller for maintaining the power factor close to 1.
Optimization of Energy has ben the objective of the Facility Team at Sigma Centre. For this we have been regularly appreciating the support staffs
through Reward & Recognition Program in which we reward their hard work on rigorous monitoring even without the Energy Managment System
and coming up with any idea to save energy.
