5. 'Twin Flames'
Graffiti Wall - 12m x 2m
Manchester

In the darkest moments of your Life,
Follow the least remaining spark.
The meaning is clear for you.
And has to be clear for you only.
Because your soul needs highs ,
Highs that none knows but you.
Real love.
Real love to share.
Don't keep anything with or for you,
Let it flow...
There will always be an echo in the universe.
And the meaning , the true meaning ,
is invisible for the eyes.
You may meet your #twin flame.

12. If I like you it is because I love your energy.
If I don't like you it's because you go against my energy,
souls as my temple.
We could be like water flows, crossing over gently.
Because we are all meant to be.
If we meet it is because there is a reason,
Something we ignore or something conscious.
If we share a moment on the path,
It is because we have something to learn from each
other.
When the lesson is taught,
Our bond is released and the ties unleash to reveal the
next level of our inner light.
If we meet it is because there is a reason,
Something we ignore or something conscious.
If we share a moment on the path,
It is because we have something to learn from each
other.
When the lesson is taught,
Our bond is released and the ties unleash to reveal the
next level of our inner light.
If we do not understand each other sometimes,
We should never forget the best,
That shiny light that once brightened our eyes.
The flame is and was and fuels the light or cause the
combustion of our ties themselves.
There is no need to cry or hide feelings and emotions.
Because they are alive and they follow you.
The shapes can be the happy lucky flame of the
beginning,
The burning fire of passion,
Or the gentle warmth of the healed hearts heating
softly in the fireplace,
There are seasons of love and change,
Invisible and inevitable.
13. The only thing left then, is what you can feel inside
you.
All the triumphs and failures will all be forgotten.
You will just feel yourself the way you shaped you
soul and spirit.
And maybe we are always on the edge between
life and death.
And maybe every moment is deeply unique.
And you can choose if you want a flame or ashes.
You can choose to be a butterfly or a flower or to
be dying inside and not to enjoy the best life has to
offer:
every second that surely happens.
If you don't believe, things cannot happen.
Find the best in you and just use that healthy fuel
to spread your soul all around you.
This is how change happens, and this is how your
world and the world around you becomes better
and keeps bearing the prints of the sweet petals of
the light that shines forever.
Anthea Missy
IT, will and always be alive, as an abstract organic
thing that you can't touch but will always feel.
Let the fire have its own life,
And don't throw water on it.
When it's turned to ashes,
It is still there and won't leave you.
Instead of a sweet warmth inside your body, you
will just feel stinging bitterness.
You don't want to poise your heart,
And you don't want to poise the seeds of the love to
come with other souls.
You respect nature and the invisible forces that
made you meet and share, as an uncontrollable and
natural phenomenon.
You want peace and harmony within you.
And this is how you will find harmony around you,
elevating your inner harmony and producing even
more warmth around you say by day.
One day, you will be gone.
In your last moments you will feel it coming to you
to take you somewhere else.
14. 'Love Stream'
Canvas - 1m x 1m
23.02.2015
I was walking on my path and
heard the sound of a river.
It was a slow and repetitive rythm
that Hypnotized me.
I approached the stream and saw
dozens of faces in it.
underwater , the ambiguous
features misplaced clarity.
Some clarity I was looking for.
Out of monotony, out of routine,
The streams were not straight and clear,
But they were all going in one and only one direction.
Floating above the sky.
And that river, out of sight makes that song that calls my ear.
I can't see the river, but I can hear it.
The river is hypnotizing and takes me with it.
I don't know anymore whether the river is carrying me or if I
have become the stream.
I left the edge to swim in the ocean of complexity and as the stream was carrying me,
I felt in a complete motion of completion,
Hypnotized by the stream and the lyrics of the waves, like a mermaid callingout from
paradise.
I was drifting away in another universe.
Like a bubble , like in a dream.
I thought the stream would take me out of my path.
I hesitated to leave the fixed ground for the uncertainty of water.
Soft appealing water where you can feel lighter,
Dangerous waters which can change their appearance and drown you.
I had to choose between walking on a safe ground or following the mermaid.
I preferred to leave the ground.
Many times I hesitated and I figured that I could try to melt.
15. 'Inside you'
Drawing - 70cm x 50cm
23.02.2015
The emulsion of our souls:
I think once a day like that, and just for an instant everyday:
At the same second someone is happy, someone is in love, someone is suffering.
So for a second I go all through the entire spectrum of emotions a human being can
feel. Freaking. But real. That's a question of probability!
I enjoy my time because I know I am lucky. I enjoy life because I know it can change
because I know happiness is a fragile state and we all wish it can be maintained.
I think of the romance of life and random circumstances that make you experience
the unexpected or meet the indescribableperson. (Positive thinking).
Actuallylife is random and each choice has a huge impact on your life. So far, I am
not teaching anything new. However, it takes concentration to think backwards
and understand how properly a little thing we can do can change the occurrence
of events and lead to new paths. ( I got examples !)
Even the time at which you leave your house to pick up the bread !
Souls are connected.
If you think of someone who pops up into your mind,
The reason might by that person is also thinking about you.
Every time we communicate has an impact on at least one person.
This impact can be positive.
I wish in my case it just can be positive.
I prefer to encourage and spread the light the more I can in any way, by these
words or just by a painting :)
I wish it and I am doing my best to achieve it.
So ok, I know you think about me :)
And maybe I do too ;)
And even if we never met , I mean not yet
The borders we perceive are not as real as we think they are.
The hearts vibrate and emulate over other hearts on earth.
There is that theory of law of attraction.
I believe it is a true law (butterfly effect).
All you think about and even the way you think about it has an invisibleeffect
in time and space over others in short, mid, long run, and comes back to you as
well
I think I may not be right , but this is my opinion. No! it is my belief
And then, I was thinking about some people I really like when I drew that one,
like a silent pray in the night for them to feel good and carry on well.
They popped up into my mind. I had nice thoughts nice images about us being
in complete harmony and mutual understanding.
I won't even tell them I thought of them.
Some may understand and like it some
may think I have an interest.
So we are bound to hide the love to
protect our own emotions and their
purity.
But I understand that.
I don't need to say things.
I think they can be felt by whoever
needs them.
So instead of sharing with a couple of
people, I share with everyone, for the
benefit of anyone to pick it or not.
End of the story.
20. 'A cage if you will'
Behind the Artwork
It is easy to paint a picture on the streets in a legal area.
You think of an issue and you pretend to do an artwork.
To what extent does it change the world?
I have painted that yesterday and I thought a lot about the work but also and foremost about the topic:
forced child wedding. I went through an intense sleepless night talking and discussing with my brother
Arnaud Missy and Fred !
I got many questions on my mind and rather followed a philosophical approach on my reasoning allowing
myselfto question without giving any answer or opinion.
I think a good writer or artist shall highlight a problem and have people to think about it, not giving an
opinion.
There is a clear differencebetween an impulse ( idea, artwork) and a reaction ( act)
The foundation of the art of discussion is : objectivity.
This is how my logic cascaded down:
- what is child wedding and who is concerned?
- are there sociological patterns which enable us to target specific populations ?
- does a girl who is getting marriedat 10 is conscious about the fact that she can have a choice ?
- to the core : does she know what choosing is ? Did she ever made a choice of any sort ? Or was she told
how to talk? What to do ? What to wear? Conditioned ?
- does she have a choice?
- is she culturally conditioned from young age to integrate to be married at 10 years old as a norm?
-what is the importance of tradition and culture in this pattern?
We as westerners, tend to debate and discuss topics located in countries, about cultures which are
differentthan ours.
We , with our westerners eyes, impose a perception over something that we ignore.
'A cage if you will'
Leake Street London Graffiti
for Femme Fierce

21. Our perceptions are not the same because we culturally integrate different Norms in
the patterns of our judgment.
We find it horrible and unacceptable to let a girl get married at the age of 10. Of
course, this is not an element of our western culture and it even shocks with our
liberty of expression and choice.
We find pictures of little girls wearing red lipstick and looking like they are women.
We find this shockin because we associate these visual elements with other concepts
such as womanity, seduction, sexual energy, femme fatale.
That girl on the pic looks like a femme fatale.
Do all the girls who are married at 10 look like this or is this just one image of the
case ?
Are we really sure that image is about a girl who gets married?
Where does that picture come from?
What is the reliabilityof the source?
So far,
I have not expressed any point of view.
I am asking you questions,
I am asking you to think , IN DEPTH.
I have visited some countries recently where I have seen women parked in buses and
going to work for a weekly wage which may be the price of your daily lunch.
I have seen women being pushed in jail because they wanted the land of their
parents to be freed from big lobbies.
I have seen a lake of a century, being dried.
I have seen those women protesting for nature, local life, and the safety of their kids.
I have seen people who never got a chance to go to school.
I have seen people who have no healthcare possibilities.
I was there painting abstract art on the walls. I was there to see the reality with my
eyes.
I did not read this in a book.
I did not see a picture on Internet talking about how unfair the world is.
I have seen the truth being hidden, distorted and used for the sake of the most
powerful people of this world : the top of the pyramid.
22. Getting back to my thinking on the topic of child wedding, I continued my internal
questioning:
- does it make sense to produce art on a topic which is geographicallylocated on the
other side of the planet , in a legal graffiti zone?
- does it make sense to counter promote child wedding in an event called FEMME
fierce.
- do we speak about children or women, women to become.
Getting back to what I have seen with my eyes in Europe:
- women beaten by their man
- women working for endless hours to feed their kids alone.
- women who are considered as less than men with equal skills.
I have seen how unfair the world is down my street.
I have seen:
- kids at work and communityengagement.
- women fighting for the rights of their neighborhood.
- women sacrificingtheir life for their families.
And yesterday I saw a woman who said:
' I don't buy stuff,
My possessions come to me'.
I continued:
- what about the kids which are used for work?
- what about the kids which are exploited for things I can't even write?
- what about kids who are raped and kids who are beaten by their parents....
NEXT DOOR to yours.
I would have loved to deal with a topic which may be a major concern . Highly
represented in society, some of the topics aforementioned.
23. I would have loved to deal with a topic which may be a major concern . Highly
represented in society, some of the topics aforementioned.
I got to think further:
- what is the role of Art in changing society ?
- what type of art actually has a changing impact on society?
- are there other things to consider to make the art impactful on society like a good
promotion?
- can art really change anything ? Or does art only highlight ?
- to what extent an artwork placed in a European street can change a problem which
is located thousand miles away?
- is this credible/ legitimate?
DO I KNOW WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT
My artwork is ambiguous and shows my own questioning:
Objective elements of my artwork:
- A young woman is imprisonedin a bubble which seems to be a jail.
- Around it , the golden wedding ring with a diamond
- the ring and the cage are locked by a padlock all around her.
- there are black and white abstract organic patterns around it moving towards the
right.
- the background is vague and unclear, blue and red, with secondary various colours.
The cage may be a window.
A window from which we can see a young woman . It is not clear to see if she is
inside a prison, or behind windows.
We can see her physicallybut we cannot see her universe.
Where is she ? How does she feel?
Is she happy ? Or not ? How does her life feels like ?
One thing is certain; there is a boundary that we cannot cross between our world of
perceptionsand hers.
24. My answer : I don't know. Do you?
She can see us.
What does she think about us ?
Does she think the way we live is normal? Does she want to get out her universe and
live the same life than we do with our norms ?
Are our Norms so different than hers ?
Are there analogies between that issue and some that we know in our western
culture ?
Some similar issues that we stand and close our eyes upon while pointing at the
neighbors issue?
Can we even do a cultural separation?
Hasn't our world turned global and isn't our culture global too?
The ring is gold. The ring is symbol of Union and belonging. Could it be a talisman ?
Could it be a protection?
Does marriagemean protection, and stability ?
For who?
Can I pretend I know what is is like to live someone else's life and to know what's
best for that person?
Am I right ?
Do I hold the truth ?
Wouldn't it be more meaningful to paint that where that topic takes place ?
Does it require courage ?
Is it dangerous to do that ?
Do I fear anything ?
Why?
Does she have a choice now ?
Or later ?
Can she make that choice ?
What does she need to choose ?
Will she ?
25. What does being able to choose mean?
There is that saying that goes:
Choosing something means the renunciationof something else.
Those are the questions I had on my mind before I did the artwork and
which are still pending.
In complete abstraction...
And so my life goes on in my abstract curvy patterns.
An invitation to escape the shit.
And just reimagine how our world can be good, nice and positive.
A world of change.
A world where nothing is for granted.
And where there are possibilities, opportunities, and HOPE.
A 'Cage if you will' is a 2.5m2 graffiti on the topic of 'Forced Child Marriage'in
which I am expanding my #organic style around a stenciled paste-up, on an old
school graffiti wall of LeakeStreet London as a foundation background.
I enjoyed mixing techniques and working for the first time around a predefined
subject. I also liked the idea of reconcilingthe past of the wall with the moment,
thus making a tribute to oldschool graffiti style while integrating my art in it.
