By 2020, the world could develop into a myriad of different scenarios, but there is no one scenario that can accurately represent what the US, let alone
the world, will become–even in four short years. The four scenarios in "Consumer's Futures 2020" has options that could unfold, but it is unlikely in

Since independence from the British rule in 1947, India has been investing a significant part of its resources, in creating quality institutions of higher
education and research. In 1958 Indian Government passed a "Scientific Policy Resolution 1958", which stated: "The key to national prosperity, apart

from the spirit of the people, lies, in the modern age, in the effective combination of three factors, technology, raw materials and capital, of which the
first is perhaps the most important, since the creation and adoption of new scientific techniques can, in fact, make up for a deficiency in natural
resources, and reduce the demands on capital. But technology can only grow out of the study of science and its applications." In keeping with this
objective the Government has established a number of scientific publications in regional languages for school children and other groups in the society
to increase scientific awareness in India. These publications are available to public at large mostly at subsidized, affordable rates. Finally, in 2003 a
"Science and Technology Policy" was announced, which recognized "the changing context of the scientific enterprise".

Patrick and I have been testing different scenarios with the Skype for Business platform and the VVX411 phones, both systems appear to be
working ok. We also have the BTOE software that seems to work good so far. There is bit of learning curve and some getting used to, some things
for sure have changed from what we are used to doing on the Cisco phones. I have been working with Nico Hernandez testing the new BLOC
(Bridge Lync Operator Console) both of us installed the software on a workstation and have been making calls to each other answering through

progress, Nico seems to have more time to test and has good hold on this project. I also started to test a Polycom Pano demo unit, however it was
decided to end testing as it does not support dual network connectivity. The idea is to have a Content Collaboration solution that can connect to
both the Wireless Guest and Wireless Reserved networks. I worked late one day to test QOS (Quality of Service) of calls with Jeff Berndsen on the
SFB platform. The WAN in Los Angeles was flooded with over 100% utilization. We tested to ensure voice quality maintained during an active call

The Importance Of Social Media And Social Relationships
Recent times have shown an exponential growth in terms of innovation and technology. Because of this it is vital that we examine the importance of
social media in the way we maintain and create relationships, and how that has affected how happy we are. In this paper I will be arguing that the use of
technology is necessary in order to sufficiently maintain and create better relationships which increase our overall level of happiness. Relationships
are the key to our happiness. According to psychologist Alt Markman, our relationships help create a sense of belonging which increases our overall
happiness (Markman). Factors such as longing working hours, and global migration have led to increased social isolation. Social media allows us have
to constant connection with others, helping us build upon and strengthen the relationships we have started, thus solving the problem of social isolation.
The first reason social media is necessary for us to create sustainable new relationships is the lack of time people have in today's society. Zeynep
Tufekci, a sociology professor at UNC writes that social isolation has risen not because of social media, but because of "obstacles" such as "... long
