A former city councilmember, William F. Kiel, handcrafted and donated a cherry wood library table to the city to celebrate its one-year anniversary at its new facilities. Kiel worked on the table for several months with the help of a local high school student, Hallie Marcott. The beautiful handcrafted table was customized to complement the city's interior and will be displayed in the council chambers foyer for staff and visitors to enjoy. Accepting the donation will have no fiscal impact on the city.
