Concrete Pontoon Construction for Dalla-Yangon ferry at Dalla Dockyard. Japan and Myanmar engineers worked together to complete the pontoon project. JICA supported materials and technology to dockyard. Dockyard engineers and labor got not only modern construction methods but also use of hand tools. During the construction Japan and Myanmar engineers solved so many problems together .JICA and Japanese people also supported to Myanmar three Cherry ferries . U Zaw Moe Myint was deputy command engineer at that time and made a power point presentation to Myanmar engineer council for the technical development. JICA also supported to dockyard welding training and transferred welding training room and welding machines.
