In 1921 the success story of the world’s most popular German wine brand, BLUE NUN, begins.  With that vintage the first bottles with the characteristic brand name  BLUE NUN leave the cellars of the Sichel family in Mainz am Rhein. BLUE NUN with its distinctive taste quickly becomes synonymous in many export markets with good German wine. 2011  / 3 The first step in a successful future

Langguth together with independent consultants have continued to work on it, so as to achieve with the  “Sichel Superior Vinification”  procedure slower temperature-controlled fermentation and a longer maturation period on the yeast, even  more flavour , an even  fruitier nose  and even  greater smoothness  from the fully-ripened grapes.
