Besides these, the company also provides personal loans, home loans, loans on two and
three
wheelers, loans against securities and insurance services; etc. Bajaj FinServ covers a wide
area Talking about the lending procedure on Consumer Durables and Digital Products, the
company provides loans on 0% interest. On top of this, there are various schemes which
have Zero-Down payment facility, which means customers can take their financed products
with them without making any down payment.
Apart from this, company provides EMI cards (i.e. Existing Membership Identification Card
to their customers, which give them the facility to skip all the documentation process from
the very next time, they again come for the loan Now talking about my SIP, it was started on
1st
OCT 2022 to 30th
NOV 2022. I worked in Croma store, Aundh.
I had to go daily from morning 10:00am to evening 9:00pm and till 9:30pm on Weekends.
The work assigned to me was to interact with the customers and making them aware
regarding the schemes and the loans approved through the login activity that is done on
Bajaj FinServ online portal "Galaxie" and finally reaching to the process of financing the
customer's loan.
All this helped me to better understand the whole lending procedure.

CHAPTER 1:- INTRODUCTION
Introduction:
Is the modern culture attraction for comfortable and luxury life among middle class and lower
classis increasing rapidly.
FMCD Loans at interest rate with Low EMI and Law der payment are widely
preferred by urban as well as semi urban people.
The important reason for attraction to wards FMCD loans is that these loans help to manage
social status in society and second is easy approval.
Even higher-class people are preferring importance and getting benefit from these Loans
equally.
With the growing popularity of FMCD Loans. The FMCD companies are getting benefit
equally because of the increase in sales of the products.
Festival time like Deepawali, Holi, Ganesh pooja and some regional festivals becomes
blessing for companies as well as customers.
FMCD Loans are increasing the sales of these products rapidly for the benefit of not only
customers and FMCD companies but also loan providing companies because this 0% gives
high profit to them.
Huge profit in this segment is increasing the competition among the companies.
Mostly non- banking financial corporations are involved but banking sector also providing
equal importance Recently, finance minister said to banks to emphasize on FMCD loans
Competition in this line is different from other products because here no. of customers and
their demand is rising and it covers whole segments.
8. 8
Risk is another factor in this market where a company earns a lot of profit also has to
manage risk.
Proper risk management decides the success of the company otherwise many companies has
got huge loss and disappeared from the market.
Finally, can say that FMCD Loan market is very huge. prosperous, and attractive with
higher risk.

CHAPTER: - 2 RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
Researchdesign
Research design is a plan of action a plan for collecting and analyzing data in an economic,
Efficient and relevant manner.
Type of research
Descriptive research
Descriptive research can be used to accomplish a wide variety of research objectives.
Descriptive research includes Surveys and fact-finding enquiries of different kinds.
The main characteristic of this method is that the researcher has no control over the
variables;
He can only report what has happened or what is happening.
Source of data
The study is descriptive in nature, makes use of both type of data i.e. Primary and
Secondary.
Primary data:
The data that is collected first hand by someone specifically for the purpose of facilitating
the study is known as primary data. So, in this research the data is collected from
respondents through questionnaire.
11. 11
Secondary data:
I had used secondary data like the annual report of the company, working experience, books,
articles, magazines, Company website, Research paper, MBA projects, internet.
Literature Review:
A Study of Consumer Behavior on Consumer Durables with Reference to Bijapur
District: MR. Parmanand Dasar
The buying behavior of consumers in the area in relation to selected consumer durables
Samples sine selected for the study is 200 respondents of the selected consumer durables in
Bijapur, basavanbagewadi. Sindgi. Indi, and Muddebihal five talukas of the district. Samples
are drawn on convenience sampling technique method. The data for the study are drawn
sample respondents through questionnaires and schedules. Require information were also
collected from dealers’ wholesalers, retailers. Collected information from the sample
respondents on consumer behavior on consumer durables are classified, tabulated &
graphed, and analyzed in a systematic manner. The analysis was used to analyze the
awareness and impact on behavior of various brands, impact of brand and seller's reputation
of the selected consumer durables. The market for consumer durables is becoming more
competitive now a day. Therefore, the producer of durable products should understand
consumer interest much to find higher sale of their products. Overall, it is argued that the
study of consumer behavior is rapidly evolving as researchers recognize and implement new
techniques and Trans disciplinary perspectives to understand the nature of purchase and
consumption behavior. This wider view attempts to study Consumer Behavior: behavior in
the light of rapidly evolving lifestyles, values, priorities, and social contexts. Various
theories on consumer research were not tested empirically until the middle twentieth
12. 12
century. The distinctly practical emphasis awaited development of the field of marketing in
the business curriculum. In particular the buying process of consumer behavior is of more
importance to marketing practitioners than the process.

Background of the topic
What is finance?
"Finance is the management of money and other valuables, which can be easily converted
into cash.”
A category of stocks containing firms that provides financial services to commercial and
retail Customer. This sector includes banks. investment funds, insurance companies and real
estate. Financial services perform Inst in low interest rate environments. A large portion of
this sector generates revenue from mortgages and loans, which gain value as interest rates
drop. Furthermore, when the business cycle is in an upswing, the financial sector benefits
from additional investment improved economic condition usually lead to more capital
projects and increased personal investing.
New projects require financing, which usually leads to a large number of loans, "Finance”
is Often defined simply as the management of money or "funds" management. Modern
finance, however, is a family of business activity that include the origination, marketing. and
management of cash and money Surrogates through a variety of capital accounts,
instruments, and markets created for transaction and trading assets, liabilities, and risks.
Finance is conceptualized, structured, and regulated by a complex system of power relation
Within political economics across state and global market.
What is consumer?
An individual who buys products or services for personal use and not for manufacture or
resale. A consumer is someone who can make the decision whether or not to purchase an
item at the store. And someone who can be influenced by marketing and advertisement any
time someone goes to a store and purchase a toy, shirt, beverages, or anything else, they are making
the decision as a consumer.
21. 21
Consumer Finance
“The division of retail banking that deals with lending money to consumers. This
includes a wide variety of loans including credit cards, mortgage loans, and auto loans,
and can also be used to refer to loans taken out at either the prime rate or the subprime
rate.”
The consumer finance is a win-win system in which everyone wins. For the consumers it is
an opportunity upgrade standard of living here and now instead of waiting for years of
savings to accumulate. For manufacturer, consumer finance stimulates demand and brings
down inventories, for dealers it is one type of sales boating. For finance company it is profit
generation.
Consumer finance has to do with the lending process that occurs between the consumer and
a lender. In some instances. the lender may be a bank or financial institution. At other times,
the lender may be a business that offers in house credit in exchange for the business of the
consumer. Consumer finance can include just about any type of lending activity that result in
the extension of credit to a consumer.
Consumer Durable Finance
"Consumer durable finance means to provide the finance on the consumer durable product
like, washing machine, TV etc. it is known as consumer durable finance".
The consumer durable finance provides the 0% interest on durable product to the consumer,
this gives customers another compelling reason to opt for 0% interest Consumer Durables
Finance for their durable’s purchases. Consumer durables finance schemes are generally
available at the dealer location (point of sale) or the showroom. The beneficiaries are not just
customers - lenders, manufacturers, and retailers too benefit. Manufacturers gain from the
resultant boost to sales and increased consumer preference towards high-margin products.
Financing schemes enable customers, especially those with lower income levels, to use future
income streams to buy consumer products upfront and pay in installments over a period.
The most popular finance scheme prevalent in the market currently is the 12/4 scheme, where
the financier collects the amount for the first four months as initial down payment from the
buyer and then disburses the full amount to the dealer. The financier then recovers the balance
amount in 8 monthly installments from the buyer. The interest and processing charges are
generally paid upfront by the manufacturer to the financier. Consumer durable financing
22. 22
appears robust, continued support from manufacturers who are effectively bearing the interest
cost currently would be critical to sustain high growth.
