3. Firstly, you have to first create a Folder and within a folder,
you have to add a Category. You have to add an article or
knowledge base inside the category.
Folder: The folder can be created as per the requirements of
the department related to various issues. Under folders,
multiple categories can be created and within categories,
relevant articles are added.
Category: Categories refer to the information for a specific
topic and these categories will contain articles in it. A
knowledge base normally contains folders which have a
number of categories and articles in it.
4. Steps for creating Folders:
● Login to your UVdesk Support Panel.
● On the Dashboard, you will see "KNOWLEDGEBASE"
menu and under it, you will find "Folders".
● Click on the "Folders" Icon and then you will be redirected
to a new page.
● You will see a grid of existing folders with its Categories &
Articles.
● Click on "New Folder" button to add a new Folder.
● Enter Name, Description, upload Folder Image, and select
the Status as Publish or Draft of the Folder from the drop-
down.

● Login to your UVdesk Support Panel.
● On the Dashboard, you will see "KNOWLEDGEBASE"
menu and under it, you will find "Category".
● Click on the "Category" Icon and then you will be
redirected to a new page.
● You will see a list of existing categories with its status, edit
& delete buttons. You will also see a number of articles in
each category.
● Click on "New Category" button to add a new Category.
● Enter Name, Description, Folder, Sort Order. From the
drop-down select Sorting option and select the Status as
Publish or Draft of the Category from the drop-down.

● Login to your UVdesk Support Panel.
● On the Dashboard, you will see "KNOWLEDGEBASE"
menu and under it, you will find "Articles".
● Click on the "Articles" Icon and then you will be redirected
to a new page.
● You will see a list of existing articles with its status, edit &
delete buttons. You will also see Category and ID for each
article.

10. ● Click on "New Article" button to add a new Article.
● Enter Title, Content under the Article Tab.
● Under the SEO, enter Slug, Meta Title, Meta Keywords &
Meta Description.
● Under the Related Articles, you can enter the Article Title
which you want to relate to the current article.
