Bangladesh celebrates many religious, seasonal, and modern festivals. Religious festivals include Eid-ul Fitr (end of Ramadan), Eid-ul Adha, Durga Puja (Hindu festival celebrated over 5 days), Buddha Purnima (Buddha's birthday in Baishakh month), and Christmas (Christians attend prayers and decorate churches). Seasonal festivals are Pohela Boishakh (first day of Bengali calendar year, known for Panta Hilsa fish) and Pohela Falgun (first day of spring, women wear yellow saris). Eid ul fitr is an important religious festival
celebrated by Muslims worldwide that marks the
end of Ramadan.
On this day Muslims people attending a special
Eid Prayer.
Eid ul fitr is celebrates for one , two or three days.
5. DURGA PUJA
Durga puja is celebrates for five days.
It is one of the biggest religious festivals of
the people of Hindu.
Durga puja is celebrated in Bangladesh
and other country such as India and
Nepal
6. BUDDHA PURNIMA
Buddha Purnima means that Buddhas
Birthday.
It is celebrated in baishakh month of the
Buddhist calendar .
This day celebrated the people of
Bangladesh and other country such as

7. CHRISTMAS
On this day,Christians in Bangladesh give
gifts and cards to each other.

8. Pohela Boishakh
Panta Hilsa a Popular dish of the Pohela
Boishakh festival.

9. Pohela Falgun
Pohela Falgun is the first day of Spring of
Bengali month Falgun of the Bengali
Calendar .
This day is marked with colorful
celebration and traditionally .
Women wear yellow saris to celebrate this
day.
10. FATHER’S DAY
Father's Day is a celebration honoring fathers and
celebrating fatherhood, paternal bonds, and the
influence of fathers in society. In Catholic Europe, it
has been celebrated on March 19 since the Middle
Ages . This celebration was brought by the Spanish
and Portuguese to Latin America , where March 19 is
often still used for it, though many countries in
Europe and the Americas have adopted the U.S. date,
which is the third Sunday of June.

Mother's Day is a celebration honoring
the mother of the family, as well
as motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of
mothers in society. It is celebrated on various days in
many parts of the world, most commonly in the
months of March or May
