S James Gosling received a Bachelor of Science from the
University of Calgary. (1973 -1977)
S MS. from Carnegie Mellon University. (1977-1983)
S Ph.D. from Carnegie Mellon University. (1977-1983)

S Engineer at IBM (1983-1984).
S Gosling was with Sun Microsystems. (1984-2010) on
different positions. He left Sun Microsystems which had
recently been acquired by the Oracle Corporation. His
last designation was Vice President at Sun
Microsystems.

S On March 28, 2011, James Gosling announced on his
blog that he had been hired by Google.
S Five months later, he announced that he joined a startup
called Liquid Robotics.
6. Achievements
S Before joining Sun Microsystems he built a multi-
processor version of Unix at Carnegie Mellon University.
S Games Gosling also developed several compilers and
mail systems.
S James Gosling is Inventor of Java Programming
Language.
