Many definitions.. Same concept
My take! What is the basic difference between circular economy and recycling?
In circular economy, the idea of recycling,
reuse and repair is considered from the
very start..
From the design stage, a product is
designed and its material is selected in a
way that makes it easy to dismantle and
reuse in newer – or even different –
models with minimal modification.
“A circular economy (often referred to simply as
"circularity"[1]) is an economic system aimed at
eliminating waste and the continual use of
resources.”

It consumes whatever
left of valuable natural
resources and…
Generates much waste
that becomes hard to
manage
A sustainable model
must be adopted… and
fast.
We are living a world of linear economy
Our current “Linear” economy is a take, make and dispose
mode of production..
.. But we cannot go on like this forever. It is not sustainable

Make sharing, repairing, reusing and recycling equipment to
be the norm rather than the virtue
Adapt our business models to capitalize on the fair use of
natural resources.
Develop an approach that focuses on righteous modes of
design and production. Put circularity as one of the design
criteria.
And now we must commit to circularity
.. By taking a few but essential steps.
This is what many medium and large business have done…
So how about the individuals? and smaller
businesses? .. How can they do their part in
committing to circularity.
