4. Company history
• ОМТ in its current form was established in 2001, however history of its development
stretches over more than 75 years.
• The company potential is concentrated in its two divisions – ОМТ (Russia) and OHE Mining
Technology (Germany). During development the company has absorbed the best traditions of
research and design and equipment manufacturing from Russian (Giprouglemash and PNIUI )
and German companies (Otto Hennlich).
• In order to ensure quality of its products the company has built modern plants in Kiselevsk,
Kemerovo region and Hattingen, Germany which are equipped with sophisticated industrial
equipment.
• The company establishes service centres all over the world, which are capable to service
clients’ equipment within a short space of time

5. Research and Design office
• ОМТ has all of intellectual property of the major mining
machinery design and engineering institutesof USSR and
Russia – Giprouglemash and PNIUI. The best designers and
developers from these institutes work in the design bureau
OMT in Moscow, Kiselevsk and Novomoskovsk.
• Under the OHE there are design offices in Hattingen, Germany
and Moscow and Pavlovo, Russia, working in best traditions of
German mechanical engineering and Russian defense
industry.
• Use of CAD and finite element analysis (FEA) considerably
accelerates designers work and allows OMT to ensure
reliability of its products at the design stage
6. Manufacturing
• Company production capacity
spreads over 30 thousand м2
and are located in Kiselevsk,
the centre of Kuzbass, Russia
and Hattingen, Germany.
• The factory in Kiselevsk was
finished in 2008, specifically
for production of metal
fabrications. In 2010 in
Hattingen a new factory has
been constructed.
• Manufacturing is capable of
production of up to 15,000
tonnes of metal fabrications a
year
8. Manufacturing
• Company plants are equipped
with modern, sophisticated
industrial equipment for the full
production cycle: cutting,
welding, assembly.
• The company does not stop and
continues updating and re-
equipping its production
facilities.
• Majority of the equipment is
CnC enabled (CAM), which in
combination with CAD reduces
the possibility of human error.
10. Servicing
• ОМТ has specialised division,
which is exclusively dedicated
to servicing and repair of
equipment produced by us as
well as other manufacturers.
• OMT’s service centre provides
servicing and repair of
equipment manufactured by
Eickhoff, Halbach and Braun,
DBT, Kopejsky Machinery
Factory, FLSmidth, and others.
11. Servicing
• OMT’s service centres are staffed with
competent personnel, which has
admission to work underground;have
necessary transport, technical
equipment, warehouse with spare parts
and operator service. All this allows the
service centre to quickly react to any
problems with the equipment and to
offer clients possibilityto outsource
maintenance,servicing and equipment
repair.
• ОМТ constantlyexpands geographyof
the service centres, so that it can
alwaysto be accessible to the clients.
