THE DOLLAR INITIATIVE
The economy affects EVERYONE, and it’s time for us as citizens of the United States to take
action TODAY.
Our mission is to help bridge the financial gap and burden that has been created by social
distancing.
Tons of small businesses are closing and letting go of their employees. These business
owners and employees are our friends, family, colleagues, and the rest of our tribe!
Small businesses make up 99.9% of businesses in America, and they employ 47.3% of
Americans! If most of these businesses start to close, it could have a devastating effect on our
economy and it will affect us ALL. Even large corporations will be affected because smaller
businesses are their customers!
COVID-19 has heavily impacted all of us. These are hard times financially for many of us, but
together we can make a huge difference. It’s time for us to pivot from reaction to action and
take back control.
Even if the federal government sends us checks, there are still small brick and mortar
businesses that will suffer as people avoid public places, such as book stores, restaurants,
coffee shops, movie theaters, daycares, and COUNTLESS others.
We are calling upon individuals and large corporations to join the movement today and start
donating to local small businesses! Every dollar counts.
