I want to share my view on the question that boggle most minds; are ghosts real? I know some may not believe because there is no scientific theory on that. well, science has a limit.

1. A true encounter

Ghosts are real.
A ghost is the soul or spirit of a dead person that can appear to the living.
Descriptions of ghosts vary widely from an invisible presence to translucent or
barely visible wispy shapes, to realistic, lifelike forms. Some do believe in their
existence to the extent that many of them deliberately contact the spirit of a
deceased person they know for some reasons whiles others do not believe that they
exist. As part of our culture, we spend great resources as in time and money in
organizing funerals. This is because of our belief in the existence of an afterlife.
I remember at a very young age, our senior siblings will sometimes dress all white
and stand in a corner or at a very quiet place to scare us especially when there was
light out and make fun of it. There have been stories of the real manifestations of
the spirits of the dead people. Almost everyone in Moree has heard at least one of
such stories. Well, I have never doubted any of these stories because I am a
witness. Yes I have personally seen ghosts. Not once but three times on different
occasions and different places.
Now let me say a little about myself. I come from Moree a town in the central
region of Ghana. My dad married my mum with six children (two guys and four
ladies) and my mum had six children (two guys and four ladies) too. I am the first
born to them making me the seventh born to my mum and seventh to my dad and
the third boy to both as well. We lived in the family house; well let me say we
believe in the extended family system so the family house was made up of many
nuclear families with some very close as in my aunties and grandparents and others
not very close. And we had a farm which is far from where we lived.

2. We spend most of our day on the farm
because we had a mud house there where
we keep our household things. We had
everything we would need from a house
there and so sometimes we get back home
in the night. The town’s cemetery is along
the main road. That’s where we pass to the
farm during the day and back in the night.
As at that time there were no street light on
the road but we all the time walked
together in the night so there was no cause
for alarm. We had senior siblings, mum
and dad walking us home all the time.
