Our group started working on this project for our Software Engineering Lab Course. We used Java language and we used Netbeans platform. We used Jframe to create different pages . We had to modify and implement different new codes for new features. To manage this project we needed a database. We used mysql database. Xampp was to manage the database from the device and query language was used to access the database from the java project.

4. INTRODUCTION
A hospital management system is a software designed to manage all the areas of a hospital such as medical,
financial, administrative, and the corresponding processing of services. The Software is for the automation of
Hospital Management. Hospital currently uses a manual system for the management and maintenance of critical
information. The hospital Management system will be an integrated, modular client server-based system working
around a common database.

When I went abroad I saw a whole hospital was
running all its work with just one software.
Motivation for the Hospital Management
System project is to handle/process the
management and different steps of treatment
like registration, taking an appointment,
billing, prescriptions, etc. So the patients don’t
have to go to different counters or different
places for individual work. So, they don’t have
to wait in a queue at every counter. All the
steps could be done in software, which will
help the hospital to do work fast and
effectively.

1. Patient will be able to make appointments
online;
2. In this software admin will be able to add
employees and doctors;
3. Patients will be able to access with their code;
4. Doctors can send their patient details to the
required diagonal room if needed;
5. Each patient will have their own unique id
which will enable them to get any medical
treatment or any medical information of their own
in the mountains;

6. With this software a doctor can check
the details of a referring patient;
7. Patients don’t have to carry their
reports from one place to another. A
doctor can see it by searching the ID of
the Patient
8. This software will have an option
called to account through which the
patient can pay all the expenses of his
hospital;
9. Patients will be able to book their
medicines from the pharmacy panel.

and can get information
quickly.

15. CONCLUSION
With the help of this software, people in Bangladesh can trust and
rely on hospital emergencies, and billing time-period which will be
really enthusiastic. Rather than that, a lot of time for both doctor
and patient will be saved if every hospital can develop this kind of
software for faster applications of everything.
