coordination mechanisms through enhanced contribution of
Science – include Earth observations (EO), as part of geospatial
data and information considerations;
(2) Periodic Synthesis Reports on the state of Science and
Technology for Reducing Disaster Risk – include developments
in EO to improve support perspective and communication;
(3) Learn how EO can support national platforms through GEO
activities on Disaster Resilience GEO-DARMA and GSNL;
(4) Appreciate ongoing work around the globe on the UN 2030
Agenda for Sustainable Development EO4SDG.org and Paris
Agreement for Climate GEO-Carbon Initiative; and
