As a class assignment, I had to read articles from Institute for the Future (IFTF), pick one and then select an excerpt that I liked or found interesting. I picked, "My BFF is a bot" and article that was placed in the future. It talks of the year 2020 (a year that has not even happened) as if it was the past.
In the second slide you will find the excerpt that I found interesting but scary as it is a point technology can get to.
Then I had to ask a question on Quora, explore some related questions as well and write the excerpts found.

ââWill privacy and anonymity become extinct in the future with the
rise of technology and peoplesâgrowing reliance on it?â
Response
âYou probably know that people are already giving away their
personal data freely on social media.Anything from where they live,
what their prized possessions are, what their values, preferences and
leanings are, their contact info, even their nudes. So I'm not sure if
privacy and anonymity is even a thing anymore.â

Quora related question
ââShould artificial intelligence be regulated?â
Response
âThinking through how these regulations should change in light of new AI
capabilities such as autonomous driving will help the whole industryâŠBut
the regulation should be industry-specific,and based on a thoughtful
understanding of the use-cases and on the outcomes we do/donât want to
see in specific sectors, rather than on the basic technology. The
government also has a big role to play to help with the coming job
displacements caused by AI,for example to provide basic income and
retraining.
