With gradable adjectives, three types
of comparison are possible.

Informal style ------ object pronoun
is used.
She is older than me.
Formal style subject pronoun is used with verb.
She is older than I(am).
18. Preposition after superlative
Do not use of with a singular word referring to a place or group.
I’m the happiest man in the world.
She is the fastest player in the team.
But of can be used before plurals and before singular quantifiers like lot, bunch.
NOT…of the world.
NOT…of the team.
She is the fastest player of them all. He is the best of the lot.
