Pero esta nueva edición consta de 80 historias. Es una

Madrid es un lugar repleto de historias curiosas y sorprendentes.
He tratado de rescatar historias singulares que, o bien no hubieran
sido tratadas en los libros de misterios de la ciudad, o bien dándoles
una perspectiva diferente.
Madrid es una fuente inagotable de misterios.
Ochenta historias parecen muchas, pero de cuando en cuando, si
estás atento, aparece una nueva narración singular.

10. Dos cuadros brujeriles de Goya (1797-
1798)
Dos obras de Goya: El aquelarre y Las brujas. Estos cuadros hay que fecharlos
en la época de los Caprichos.
¿Cómo pudo Goya imaginar esas brujas grotescas y ese macho cabrío sin
precedentes?
En aquella época, Goya ya se había quedado sordo y su mente vagaba por otros
mundos. En su soledad, entre imaginaciones y ensueños, surgen brujas y
alcahuetas.
El pintor solía reunirse con un círculo de intelectuales en el Palacio de la
Alameda de Osuna —de hecho, estos cuadros los pintó para ese palacio—, entre
los que se encontraba Moratín.
11. Dos cuadros brujeriles de Goya (1797-
1798)
Una posible fuente pudo ser un texto sobre la Inquisición que estaba leyendo
Moratín; en concreto, sobre el auto de fe de Logroño de un siglo antes.
Un fragmento de ese texto describe cómo las brujas van a casa de un hombre,
lo atrapan y lo llevan a un aquelarre; hay lechuzas, y la reina del aquelarre lleva
una tea que es el brazo de un niño untado con sebo.
El aspecto grotesco y terrorífico de las escenas que pinta Goya surge de su
mente atormentada.
Todos estos trabajos hay que encuadrarlos dentro de la crítica a la España
negra, a la Inquisición, que aún perduraba y seguía persiguiendo brujas en
España.

Botticelli y su taller (1483).
Tres de los lienzos en el Museo del Prado y uno en el
Palacio Puzzi en Florencia.
Una historia de fantasmas del Decamerón de Boccaccio:
suicidio, burla y muerte prematura, que desembocan en
maldición.
La historia de la visión de Nastagio, que va al bosque por
ser rechazado por su amada.
Serie moralizante con valores caducos.
