What is Smart HD Optics?
Smart HD Optics are nothing short of the
most advanced electro-optics available.
Smart HD Optics bring the modern tech-
nology of smart phones, digital cameras and
military electro-optics to the analog sporting
optics market creating a whole new revolu-
tionary sporting optics field! ATN’s Smart
HD Optics now comprise the majority of our
products line from day/night sights, binocu-
lars and spotting scopes to thermal scopes,
binoculars and viewers. Each and every one
of these devices is powered by the ATN Ob-
sidian Core.
Offering unprecedented features and im-
proved image performance, the Obsidian
Core has transformed ATN’s product line
and has set a new standard for our indus-
try. The Obsidian Core is a sensor-neutral
micro-computer powered by an advanced
ARM based processor that hosts an array
of sensors. Utilizing a Full HD (1920x1280)
sensor for our day/night systems and either a
640x480 or 384x288 thermal sensor for our
new HD thermal line of products - the Obsid-
ian Core creates a uniform platform for our
