10. Group-based activity
Groups of 8
Two people in each group for each activity
Work independently or in pairs and then feedback to rest of group and compare
notes
This is just a taster time – you can return to any of these activities later, in your own
time
Listening to others’ reflections on the activities will hopefully be valuable to direct
your time more effectively
Post comments on the Padlet to summarise your individual and group comments,
for the wider cohort to gain learning
Be prepared to participate in the plenary discussion
11. Tips for group activity (45 minutes)
Once you are allocated to a group (either online or in the room), please
take the time to introduce yourself to other members of your group
Then identify which activity you would like to concentrate on – you can do
multiple activities if time allows
Tell your group members how you would prefer to work – either
independently or in pairs
Arrange your seating or technology to enable the type of conversations
you have agreed
Remember to allocate some time to have a group discussion to share
experiences before the end of the session – ideally at least 5 minutes
Remember to post on the Padlet as you go along, or before the end of the
group session
12. Feedback from groups
Summarise your reflections on the Padlet before the end of the group session and
we will discuss some of these in the plenary

13. Plenary discussion and round-up
Key themes?
Opportunities for further development?
Main observations?
Challenges of working multi-modally?
